This is a terrible store. The store itself is fine as regards products and convenience, however, what really makes this store get 1 star is the terrible service - generally I have found the staff are either plain rude or lazy. Just the last few times I have been I have had issues with the cashiers being rude. I wonder what they are like to older folk who cant answer back? (I for one would not like my Mom to shop here by herself).Todays experience was with cashier, super rude and discourteous. After this occasion today I vowed that I wont be going back to this particular store.*Just a final note, there is an older guy who works here, he is very good and the only shining star for this store and quite different to the other staff.

Checkout lines tend to be slow here on the whole. There are some cashiers who are pretty fast, but they appear to have to walk around their station for every customer and scan a barcode on the cart itself. Couple that with only two open lines nobody on duty to assist the cashiers if assistance is required and your 5 minute trip to the store just got 10 minutes longer...

I love the products and prices. There is a great organic section at reasonable prices. The only down side to S&F is the lines are frequently long. The cashiers seem to have little awareness and rarely call for help (not sure there is any).During COVID, they had only one line and that helped bc you didnt have to worry that youd chosen the wrong line, which I always do :(

My goto when Walmart changed vendors for blueberry waffles to gummynation. And some of the other First Street items are tops.

I havent been here in a while because of a bad experience with a rude employee, but was in the area and stopped in to give it another try. Wrong move!First of all as you walk in the place has a funky smell then I was overcharged on a regular priced item. After going through the whole process of fixing the charge ( I had to physically go show the employee the price on the item) I asked if it was corrected in the register for future customers, he said no!Im wondering what other items are being overcharged automatically in the register scan. Its sad that you have to watch what price each item youre being charged for is correct. Not going to shop here!

You are walking in for low prices, you can lower some of your other expectations like lots of choice or staff or fastest service. But, a store with plenty of choices. If you go with their house brand, First Street, youll get the lowest price (on utensils, food, decorations, everything you can imagine). For groceries I recommend the Traders Joe next door.

Decent produce at reasonable prices. Beef is pretty good. Prices arent that cheap compared to Costco and Walmart.

I like this store and shop here regularly. The store is clean and well stocked with what youd expect to find in most grocery stores. Prices are quite reasonable and they have great weekly specials. Parking is easy and other great stores and fast food eateries are in the complex which make it easy to get whatever you need.

No line outside the door but there was a single large line to purchase. All four registers were open which made the wait bearable. The store was stocked well but meats were limited to only two purchases per type of meat (chicken, pork, and beef) including frozen meats.

Please put some lights in freezers for smart and final shopping

It basically like a mini Costco and you could almost find everything you need there. Also, it is very convenient for any restaurant in case they need any supply in emergency. Also, want to send a compliment to the cashier, Jessica, very friendly, attentive, and helpful. Wish all the cashiers from all other stores have the great working attitude like her then this world would be lot more beautiful. Thank you. 😉👍

This smart&final is a once a week destination. Good prices overall and good selection also. I do not know if they have curb side pickup

I love the sales deals at Smart & Final especially their bulk rice of 50lbs and theirbeans in 20lbs bags it helps me save money on staple foodstuffs!

Staff is helpful and friendly. I was looking for salad dressing PCs, and an employee looked all over for me. They didnt have it, but no one does right now. It was the fact that she looked! Thank you.

This place is great, some things are sub par but that should be expected with a bulk quantity store, and they cant pay employees well enough for them to go all in and under staffed, over worked. But for what you need bulk candy bars, bulk candy, they have it. The First Street product is as good as the fancy name brands anyday. The produce is as good as it gets for how low a price they set. If your family or group go threw certain items fast you may be able to find it here in a bigger box than from the the grocery store

I love Smart and Final - the employees are friendly! What I dont like at all I have to stand in line because of my disability, its very difficult for my body to do.

The checkout process at Smart and Final can be improved. The management team is quite prompt and receptive to feedback so I have upgraded the rating. Celso is also a great example for outstanding service. Compared to a nearby indirect competitor, this store seems understaffed.

Best price around on Dry Ice!Nice and helpful staff.They are not able to keep track of special orders, so be wary. You have to pick up your special order while the manager is there, anyone else will tell you they do not know what you are talking about. Take your receipt, or you are SOL.

Today at 2:30pm a zoo, same for TJ, long lines to get in end then the risk to not find what you need. Target better, but empty shelves of the essentials

Could be cleaner and more organized.They had 2 check lanes opened and one was the express lane which the checker allowed a customer with a million items to check out go through. So, the people with 10 or less items experienced no express service.Friendly staff, though.

A good place to shop for a day to day basic grocery need. Shop is clean and well stocked with employees trying hard to ensure you are well taken care. The only minus issue is that at times there is not enough cashiers for the paying process to efficient.

I have been to this location of Smart & Final three times.This review is mainly for the checkout clerk Celso who demonstrated excellent customer service skills on checkout; even when the person before us wrote a personal check which is almost unheard of these days. I have to deduct one star as some of the produce was lower caliber

I love this store. The produce is always fresh and priced reasonably. Good quality meats and dairy. New bulk items just added. Good store for fast shopping.

Dont let the hype fool you. The prices here are the same as any other grocery store. I hit it up for a couple of sale items and that is all.Even at busy times there is never more than one overworked employee running the register making for long checkout lines. They call for help but the backup never arrives before I have been checked out a long wait later.

I’ve been coming to this location after they closed lucky’s in our area. I’ve liked everything about this place- their prices, customer service. They usually have long lines that move slow but I don’t really mind it because I know they have good employees and they’re trying their best.But, today I went in there after work at around 5 and came across this rude rude person at the counter. This person was running the cash register that is right by the door(closest to the fruits section). At first, he was super rude to the lady who was right ahead of me. The old lady couldn’t speak much English but I could clearly understand that she was trying to tell the dumb cashier the item she was purchasing had a sticker with a lower price than what he was trying to charge her. He got mad at the woman and tossed her item mumbling sth.. idk what his problem was. He should’ve asked his supervisor, maybe? Unless he’s the manager and that would be even worse..Then came my turn. I had 5 items only. He asked me if I needed any bags to which I replied “one bag, sir”. He reaction was to laugh and then toss the bag at me while saying this: “I don’t know what you want in this ONE bag”. So, I grabbed the bag and bagged myself without any problem. He spoke really rudely and I don’t appreciate that. I hope I won’t have to go to his cash register ever again. I was in a good mood when I went in and I came out feeling the opposite.

This place has the most unprofessional customer service. The lady working produce has a nasty attitude. And just the whole vibe is negative.

Its a good store with great selection and unique items available. Although its like Safeway with all the artificial colors, preservatives, fillers, chemicals (you finish the list..), it has some gems. If you look hard enough youll find items great for Atkins diet. And you can still find items with short ingredient lists, like LeRomanella Italian sausage. It only has 1 chemical (and thats an achievement in itself for 2017!). If you look at competitors sausage it has 3+ needless chemicals added. Im sure you are also still waiting for the perfect world, but in todays reality of Whole Foods and Sprouts just gaining RPM- this store has rayss of light shining in its isles- although bearing very little organic selection.

This store has turned into a dump. I have been going here for the prices alone because there is no service. For the last several times google express people have been in line checking out several orders at a time. I saw one checker giving the google express guy 3 or 4 checkout receipts and then he got into another line. When I asked her about it she said he checked out only 1 order. She obviously lied to me and then told me to have a nice day like I was a moron. The schlock house now has gondolas and stacks of merchandise on the floor with giant piles of empty containers all over the store,which makes it hard to cart around,but few items on the shelves. I will not be going back. Bulk prices no better than Costco and Walmart has better everyday prices.

Just dropped in for some plastic cups. Thought about my afternoon, and decided I needed a Styrofoam cooler as well. They only carried ice in 20# lb. bags, which was way more than I needed. While I checked out, the checker tried to sell me on the 20 lb. bag several times, to the point where I was slightly annoyed. Otherwise, I was able to get in, get exactly what I needed, and get on with my day.

The employees are friendly. It is a good place to get bulk paper and other items for events and parties, especially close to home.
