Wow!!! I cannot say enough good things about this dealership!!I usually dread working with sales people, and expected to have a loooooong day today…. But, it was quite the opposite.The staff was so friendly, eagerly answered all of my questions, FAST with paperwork, and most of all, NOT PUSHY AT ALL!My salesperson was Eddie, who I would highly recommend. This review is not related to sales or service, but regarding the General Manager, Vincent Troncoso. I recently interviewed for the position of service advisor. I met with 3 people while I was there. The service manager, the controller and Vincent Troncoso. Vincent was the last interview. During my meeting with him, he kept mentioning that the company motto was integrity and family values. Also told me that the company was Christian based. He said that integrity was very important to him, and that he was a man of his word, and that he told it like it was. At the end of the interview, he said that he would call me that night or the following day. This was on a Tuesday. I didnt hear anything from him by Thursday, so I sent him an email. He responded saying that he was sorry and that he would call me the following day (Friday). Friday came and went and now its Monday. I sent him another email. And that email has been ignored.What happened to the so called integrity? Or the Christian values? Or even keeping his word? And he is the General Manager of the entire dealership! Fairly smooth experience. Did a great job on the oil change and interior air micro-filter. Also, ordered a second key/remote, and it looks like it was a bit cheaper than going though BMWs key hotline, as long as no other fees and it was ordered properly, I call that a win.

Not the best experience here. We flew in to buy a truck that was advertised on auto trader saying that it had active Blindspot detection. We called just to make sure before we flew in and they assured us “yes it does have it”. When we got there to test drive the truck we realized it didn’t have it. Instead they tried to get us into another truck but never took responsibility for giving us wrong information. In fact instead they apologized for the confusion but never made any attempt to make it right. They kept saying, “we can have a conversation about adjusting the price “ but we had to push that along and they finally offered to take $200 off of the price. Just no real actionable things to make up for telling us bad information. Just out of principle. It was really disappointing and a big waste of time. We ended up walking out and picked up a great truck this weekend from a different dealership.

I was trying to get a quote for a service repair and the service advisor was adamant about me bringing the car in, even though I was telling him exactly what I needed. The job is pretty straightforward. So is that shady or is it shady?He kept on saying how his guys (service technicians) needed to see the car. Not sure why, when I know exactly what the car needs... and then I mentioned the labor guide and he was like, let me get my service manager to speak to you. Huge red flags.Just dont own a BMW in California because its hard to find an honest shop these days. Get a Toyota and if you want luxury, theres always Lexus.
We were less than impressed by the service department here! The service people are very casual & don’t follow up on their words. Reason for going was a smog check & so add on a maintenance service - they forgot to do the smog check!!! Now have to take the car elsewhere to get this done. Not looking forward to having our new SUV serviced here when the time comes.

I came into BMW SLO with a convertible top issue and every person I interacted with was so kind and did their best to provide a quick service! I was there for a few hours but in the meantime I was offered coffee and water and given periodic updates on my car. Despite the pricy bill I had to pay, the customer service made the experience better. I highly recommend going to BMW SLO to deal with all of your BMW needs.
Quickly and efficiently took care of repairs and did not try to do the minimum when covered by warranty. They seem to truly care about getting it right!

I recently purchased a car from SLO Bmw and they are very dishonest about the CPO process. They lured me there by saying the car was certified pre owned for the price that was listed online. We agreed on a price before I got there. We went over the deal and the payment was the same as discussed. I signed and didn’t pay close enough attention to the full sale price of the car and they charged me a extra $5000 for the CPO warranty and didn’t notice until the following day. I called to ask why the sales price went up, thought it must be a mistake, the sales manager did nothing but lie and make excuses. The car also only had one key and the salesman said they would order me another one and they never sent me that either.I gave them every opportunity to make it right. Very Dishonest and will bait and switch and gouge you. Save yourself from getting screwed and go somewhere else. I wouldn’t recommend this place if it was the last car dealership on earth.

They seriously low-balled me on my trade-in and they added in a thousand dollars of dealer add-ons that I had removed and they tried to sell me a seven year extended warranty for five thousand dollars that was only good for three years but eventually they came around. Overall everything worked out. Typical car sales.

Got stranded 132 miles from home.Spoke to Conner Morrison at BMW of SLO where my BMW was being towed. He said he would wait for its arrival and send it to service for diagnostics asap. Coolant system needed parts which were on back order from Germany till Oct.5. He and the parts dept. went out of their way to track the parts rather than wait till Oct. 5th which would have left me without a car for over a month. Car done in five days including oil change that was due and recall without having to ask them to perform the extra services needed! Conner coordinated with BMW Roadside and Delivered my car to me via flat bed in Bakersfield 160 miles away on 6th day. Top notch service from beginning to end. Highly recommend buying and servicing from these guys. They will take excellent care of you.Keep up the excellent work Connor and staff.Dont say I said so, but better service by far than the local dealership I have been working through while leasing for the past 12 years. This dealership committed to repair damages to the vehicle as a condition of me moving forward to purchase it, and now that it has arrived they only repaired half of what they committed to do. Not only this, but the buying process was a nightmare, as I still have no tag or registration for my vehicle almost 3 weeks later. Unfortunately they lied about making repairs just to sell me a vehicle, and no one is calling me back to offer any type of resolution on the repairs. They epitomize stereotypical dealership crookedness and I am totally unhappy with this experience, especially after I already gave them a second chance after I initially walked away since I was highly disrespected by their sales reps.Here is my experience: After I was literally yelled at by one of their reps, they called me back to apologize and asked what they could do in order to get me to purchase the car. I didn’t want to move forward but sales manager (Mitch) convinced me that he could work out my requests and told me everything I wanted to hear. Turns out it was mostly just talk. I told them exactly what I needed - including the request for certain cosmetic repairs. The dealership (Mitch specifically) promised they would make said repairs to the vehicle. I confirmed this literally 3-4 times with him. However when it the vehicle was delivered to me they only fixed half of what they committed to repair (I have photos). Mitch you let me down. I contacted the general manager Vince T about this on 8/3 via email + additional voicemails days later and still have not heard back from him.I contacted BMW customer relations, and they opened a corporate case on my behalf to address the issue. They told me the GM was supposed to contact me. A week went by, and still heard absolutely nothing. I contacted BMW CR again, and they resubmitted the case once more. I was told yet again that someone from the dealership would be readying out to me. It’s been almost 20 DAYS and I still have not heard from anyone. This is only one of the many issues I faced this dealership. Bottom line - I’m bothered by the lack of communication and false promises. Plus staff needs to be retrained on communication, and handling out of state transactions - especially ‘Darryl’ in finance, who came across as someone who was still being trained. He drug his feet to send proper title work and when he did, it was incorrect. And he hung up on me at one point. It took him an entire week to connect me with the title clerk (whom I must say was actually breath of fresh air to work with).You would think that after all the frustration this dealer has put me through, they would be willing to offer an acceptable resolution. But no. The fact that no one has even bothered to contact me about this shows this dealership clearly does not care about honesty, integrity, or the happiness of their customers. They tell you exactly what you want to hear just to push a sale, but once the vehicle is sold they ghost you (case I point). I have just one word: KARMA. If you don’t care to rectify this situation, it will come back around in some way shape or form.Buy your car elsewhere.

I brought my car in for a scheduled service. I was greeted by Gaige upon pulling into the service bay. From beginning to end, Gaige provided wonderful customer service and made me feel like a valued customer.
Worst experience of my life in any transaction me or my family has ever done. Beyond unprofessional. I’m a Five time BMW lessee - came in to return my car and after waiting for 20 minutes at the end of the day told me and my wife that they wouldn’t take our car back because they weren’t obligated to. Only 2 weeks before they took back my wife’s BMW truck. It was clear that because we were not ready to get another BMW they behaved as they did. I can assure you if we left the lot with another vehicle this wouldn’t have been the case. To make matters even more insulting - they Told me and my wife to take the car to Santa Maria BMW. Imagine that - telling a customer to go to another dealer down to road???!!!! Good news is - Santa Maria BMW is awesome. They kept the dealership open after hours for us and couldn’t have been nicer and more accommodating. Cameron is a true professional. BMW is a brand - not a dealership - however, a brand is only as strong as those who represent it. SLO BMW: F- for MAJOR Fail!!!! Santa Maria Maria BMW: A+ for Exceptional Service.
My car buying experience w/ BMW San Luis Obispo was excellent. I didn’t even have to be in state for me to enjoy the experience. The salesman gave me a personal virtual tour of the car I was interested in and as he was taping he was describing the benefits of the car. I also appreciate that every time I called I always got someone on the phone and if I didn’t I left a message and they promptly responded. When it came down to Buisness they gave me the numbers of what I was possibly looking at to finance before running my credit which they are the only ones that did that. Once again great experience, no complaints.

Second car from this dealership and both times were the best encounters I have had buying a car. My son has purchased at least five from them and he feels the same. They must be doing it right, I live 4 1/2 hours away and they make the drive worth it
If it were possible I would give these people negative stars. This place is the worst, and they don’t seem to care. For the last few years since purchasing my car it has been noting but issues. The entire group is unprofessional and utterly incompetent. They falsely advertise different service packages for the vehicles you buy and then refuse to cover what is needed. Why buy a maintenance package if all it covers is an oil change? The numbers don’t add up and it’s clear that they are not being honest. The manager literally told me that he was going to do nothing even though this issue was due to his incompetent and misleading sales staff. They are crooks and I encourage you to do business with any other dealership if possible.

There was another gentleman that worked in service that helped me put in my car seat. Major thank you to him. They are very family friendly and love kids. This BMW dealership pretends to sell factory certified pre-owned vehicles, but their cars fail the most basic tests. We setup an appointment in advance for a specific BMW 5e series car that we were looking at. The vehicle had allegedly completed a CPO inspection; however, while driving it on the test drive, it threw a tire sensor fault. The dealer didnt let us test the keyless entry feature. The vehicle was filthy inside and out. It was apparent that the dealership hadnt put even minimum effort into this car (not the biggest deal can fix that right...? Right?). Turns out under the mud on the bumpers were irreparable scratches, while these are cosmetic defects, they still devalue the car. Watch out for cheap tricks with fake credit reports. Dealership tried to con us into a 16% APR using a fake credit score. Ended up waiting uncomfortably for several hours for them to clear a tire sensor before driving away. Not minutes away from the dealership, we discover that the keyless feature doesnt work at all, and the vehicle throws up more fault codes, including an emergency call malfunction fault that cant be cleared without a software update from the dealer. This dealership makes buyers sign waivers acknowledging that the dealer doesnt provide a warranty for the cars they sell. Were taking this car to another dealership to have it inspected by actual professionals. Theres a reason this dealership has the lowest sticker price in California. Avoid this dealership at all costs, or you could end up with a mountain of maintenance fees days after leaving the lot.
Very friendly and helpful staff. I bought a used BMW from a private party, and the dealership called me to let me know there was a recall. They performed the maintenance and detailed the car at no charge. And did an inspection and gave me a detailed maintenance plan, picking up a few issues that would have taken me ages to diagnose.
Connor did a super job to help navigate through the insurance process and to expedite key parts for a timely and quality repair. He even put the car through a much needed car wash! Connor appears to be a great ambassador for your Dealership.

Be careful with this company, I received a fraud Inquiry from them on my credit report, an I have never did any business with them and I stay in a different state. I spoke with the credit bureaus about this and they told me to contact that dealership for a letter of deletion to get it removed. So I got in contact with a guy named Troncoso, he sounded like a friendly guy,an he said he would help me with it. He lied to me, gave me the run around an never got the letter to me like he told me he would over the phone. I waited patiently for 30+ days, still no help at all. This dealership doesn’t deserve anybody’s money, they are okay with fraud, an have no interest in helping resolve the issue when their name is attached to it.Here’s a screenshot showing how my texts messages were ignored, until I mentioned taking it to court.from June 15th,I didn’t receive a response back about this fraud inquiry from them until July, 20th, today.
My experience at San Luis Obispo BMW was Outstanding! Everyone was so friendly! Especially Dominique Garrett he had a great attitude. Really shows that he likes his Job!
On Friday July 16th I stumbled across a vehicle online I wanted to purchase from this dealership and was paired with Kevin. Overall my experience with him was very poor. First off - I could barely get a word in any time we spoke on the phone. Kevin would literally 100% of the time interrupt and overtalk me, making conversation with him virtually impossible. In order to speak I would literally have to ask him to stop talking or wait for him to finally be quiet. Not a good first impression of this dealership.Next, videos and photos of the vehicle were sent. On July 17th they were reviewed in more detail, which revealed curb rash and a gash on the side of the bumper. Fine - It’s a used car - I get it. I simply questioned if the dealership could work with me on repairing those imperfections. I figured, what hurt could asking do? When he finally called me back today (July 18th) Kevin made it seem like these requests (or any requests for that matter) were an extreme inconvenience to him. He was very cold in rejecting my request as I was told “why don’t you just take it to your own shop and have it painted yourself...” “We don’t do that here...” “I’m not gonna take that to the desk...” etc. He was overly blunt to the point to where he came across as very condescending and communicated with little to no tact at all. If it’s not dealer policy to fix things, whatever. But it’s all in how you deliver things to people.Towards the end of our last conversation today while I was trying to explain my sentiments on the vehicle, he said “I’m gonna have to cut you off, it’s my weekend and this is cutting into my weekend time, which I work very hard for.” “I’m gonna have to have my sales partner contact you in the morning.” Seriously dude? I find this conflicting because you were the one who decided to call me after hours, not the other way around. I get we all need time off but ending the call right in the middle of discussing a deal?? Never have I been so abruptly “cut off” by a sales rep like this when trying to negotiate a vehicle purchase. I told him I didn’t like being cut off like this, and he said “I’m starting to think that we are not compatible.” Wow. Unbelievably atrocious customer service with no professionalism at all.I’m ultimately shocked at how I’ve been treated by this rep - who also is supposed to be a sales manager. In the exchanges we had over these three days, I overall didn’t feel valued by any means. I bet this sleazy second rate treatment could have been racially motivated, as I am a person of color. There’s a saying out there called perception is reality...If I’m about to give you my business, I deserve to be treated with more respect. And if this is how the sales reps treat people at this dealership, then I’ll be taking my business elsewhere. The sad part is I would’ve made that vehicle purchase even with the imperfections. I already added the vehicle to my insurance and everything. But based on how I was treated, they won’t get a dime from me. This scenario is the epitome of a missed opportunity on their part.
Have had nothing but bad experiences here. Drove down to Orange County to purchase a vehicle identical to one they had here. Service department hasnt been any better. Cant wait to sell my car and never interact with them again.

I had a horrible experience with Mohammad the service manager and the BMW SLO service department. I took my 2014 BMW in for service that needed some suspension parts replaced. Instead of diagnosing the problem they recommended replacing the entire front right suspension. After spending $3600 dollars I told them to give me all the used parts back. The only part that was damaged was the strut. All other parts were perfect. It should have been under $500. They also wanted to replace the tires, steering rack, and rims. Complete rip off. They advisors must work on commission. I wish it ended here but, there faulty workmanship after replacing several unneeded parts resulted in the tie rod rubber boot to fall off or come loose, which allowed dirt and road grime to accumulate in the steering rack shaft and motor. They now want me to pay $3000 because they claim it was already damaged. A complete fabrication. The steering rack only failed after the boot came off. Long story short, one of the worst car service centers I have ever encountered. I will never go there again. I tried reaching out to the GM over five phone calls and he refused to answer the phone. I strongly advise not taking your vehicle here. If you do not understand cars and mechanical issues I can only assume they will really try and scam you.
The staff is very professional and the process of getting checked in and checked out was great. The problem was they failed to fulfill on their commitments. I was told I would be getting my car detailed. After waiting hours to get my car back because it was in the “wash line”, I was told it would be even longer. I opted to wait another day rather than take it home without the complimentary detail. When I ultimately picked it up two days later, it wasn’t even washed, let alone detailed.
Very pleased with this BMW dealership. Gaige was very informative. Also kept us updated on the progress. Will be using this dealership for my BMW. Everyone very nice and wearing masks following protocol. Much appreciated.

I would not recommend this dealership. They advertise prices that they do not stand behind. The dealership advertised a BMW M Powered X4 for approximately $39,999 online. I was interested in the car, so I made an appointment for the following day. The next morning, I clicked on the link to see the car again and I was happily surprised to see that they had dropped the price online to approximately $33,999. I called the salesperson (Kevin Nyhus) I spoke to the day before he had no idea about the price drop but said that if that is what is advertised then that would be what it would be. I wanted the car so instead of waiting for my appointment time, I decided to leave from work and go down to San Luis Obispo BMW to buy the car right then and there. I get there, I meet with Kevin, I test drive the car and we seat down to do the paperwork…Kevin tried to talk me into a loan however I was ready to pay cash and did not need a loan. I also was not interested in any of their extended warranties or any other package they were offering. That is when Jose Macias (Sales Manager) shows up and tells me that there was an error in the pricing, and they could not sell the car to me for the 33,999 price that was still advertised on the online posting. He said that they change the price daily by a dollar just to ‘refresh’ the ad and someone made an error. I found this to be completely insulting to me. I am not that stupid into believing this was an error…I was very upset. Jose went back to the General Manager (Vincent Troncoso) and comes back with a price which dropped the original price by $1000 ($38,999). I demanded to speak with Vincent, and he gave me the same excuse of someone making an error in the pricing. I told him I didn’t buy that excuse, and this is something I would have expected from a mom-and-pop dealership, not a BMW dealership. I found their practices to be very shady and borderline illegal. I told Vincent if he knew anything about ‘Weights and Measures’ and that there was a state agency that comes into a retail establishment and if the store they are visiting has items that scan for more than the label price on the shelf, the store or company is fined. I ended up buying the car not because they gave me what I wanted, but because I had made my mind up the day before on the price, I was willing to pay for it and Vincent dropped it down further to meet that price. However, I still feel cheated and conned and I would never give this place a good review after this experience.Was it a mistake? After looking a review of this dealership on Yelp and google, I do not think this was a mistake. It has happened countless times before in almost the exact same way. Never again.
