I used SLO Toyota to have a key remote programmed to my car. After using them to fix a recall and had a horrible experience I should of known it would been the same this time. I get there and drop the car off. I walk with my three kids to the nearest target about a 1/2 mile away to kill time and the second I get there I get a text saying they did not order the key remote only an extra key. But I clearly paid and ordered a remote when I was in there getting a recall fixed several weeks back. The employee texted me back saying she didn’t have it but she could get by tomorrow and I’d have to come back down to slo (from paso) . I said ok nevermind I’ll be back to get the car. Kids and I walk all the way back to find out they indeed had the remote THE WHOLE TIME. Finally Fixed it and after waiting AGAIN, never texted me the car was ready until I saw it sitting there in the lot. I walked in and they charged me the full install charge and no real sense of remorse . That place is just a nightmare. No communication between employees and or with their customers. I’ll find a different Toyota dealership next time.
Our 2010 Prius has a couple of defective paint spots where the paint did not bond and simply peeled off. We were toldtold that although Toyota is covering this defect for some models, ours is not covered. I consider this to be very poor service.
It really makes me sad to write this review. I was a Toyota service writer and know what details to give to make sure they are able to perform their job. I left my truck here for 4 hours. I came in even though they hadnt called to let me know it was ready. When I pulled in my truck was waiting in the pick up area. I spoke to the service writer and said she surprise! The tech had written unable to duplicate. I had the tech come out to the vehicle to see if we could get it to make the sound and of course it wouldnt. But that is why I left my truck here so they could let it cool down to replicate the sound. But apparently they dont know how to do that I asked him if the the other requests were address to which he said he was unaware. I watched the service writer write it down. I gave her details. 4 hours and the only thing that was done was my tire rotation. So now Im sitting in the waiting area for them to address the rest of the issues. Completely frustrated and lost faith in this service center.
Great customer service. Quick and to the point. The nice gentleman behind counter was very helpful, and I left with the correct part ! Thank You Toyota!

Slow, you have to return multiple times for the same issues. Just. Not. Good.They got a new service manager whos trying to make a difference, but they can practice on someone else. Were going to Toyworx.
