The subway is tastyBut I got food poisoning from The Ave my freshman year
I used to work there at the Avenue. The food is low quality and taste awful, and way over priced for canned food. In the walk-in cooler they keep raw chicken for chic-fliet on the shelf right next to where they keep fresh produce for the salad bar. I know this is totally illegal and very dangerous and unhealthy. Everytime they had a food inspection, they would move the raw chicken to the warehouse coolers so they would not get shut down. Food is never properly labeled and I have seen them put out expired food. The students are great workers but the upper management has zero experience from what other workers and myself have observed. Upper management is more concerned with saving money for there yearly big bonus, while the students and there parents waste there own money on a overly priced not thought out meal plans. More expensive meals plans = $$$ bonuses!!!
The broccoli had maggots in it when I was a freshmen
Although yes, it may have improved over the years, not much has been done in terms of making the food change more often, which would offset the bad taste of the food. Every day, I wake up, go to classes, and because Im not a robot, I eat. Every day, Im disappointed at the quality of the food I get. Every day. How are students supposed to perform at their peak if they dont have access to healthy, nutritious, and delicious food? Frankly, for the amount I pay, Im quite disappointed.
Never left a negative review in my life but both the quality and the food itself is bad. Every time I come here, my stomach feels greasy and turny for at least till the next morning. This place should undergo health inspection, from the plates and cups looking half washed.
You would honestly have to put a concentrated effort to make food across an entire campus so uniformly bad and expensive. Youd think with all their money they could afford to provide something other than this garbage.
Cool place to hang out with friends and have a quick bite to eat on the way to classes.
Literal trash
It is convenient
