There was a limited menu when we visited however we thought the breakfast burrito was delicious! You order the counter before you take a seat. The line was out the door by the time we got there around 11:00 a.m. There was a QR code for the menu outside for us to look at, but it took us to the wrong website... so Im not sure what that was about. Overall, the staff was courteous, the food was good, and the ambiance was nice. Id recommend going if you have been to San Luis Obispo before, but if its your first time visiting there are better places to go to.
Great coffee and breakfast burrito. The staff is very friendly as courteous.
Kreuzbergs is a GREAT shop!! The atmosphere is very hip, warm and all around enjoyable. Their design is super cool in an eclectic way. They have inside and outside spaces that provide little nooks, corners and rooms for privacy as well as providing a unique surrounding making each visit feel like youre in a different little coffee shop of in some cool foreign country. The staff are always cheerful and on it, definitely worth a tip for great service! And, the reason you go, the product is top notch!! All the drinks as well as the eats, high quality flavor and ingredients.
Love the atmosphere and the whole coffee shop design! The ice latte isn’t too milky, and you can actually taste the slight sweetness (and no bitter at all) from the coffee.
A place for anyone and everyone. Lots of room to find your own niche, have some great coffee, or a bite to eat (breakfast, lunch, or pastry), 4 beers on tap $6, or a nice glass of wine. Sit outside and enjoy the people watching with dog in tow, or find any of numerous places inside and do some studying with the local college crowd. One of my very favorite places!
Fast friendly service. Good coffee. Great studying environment 😜
Very enjoyable coffee co! Loved the vibe when I first walked in. Will definitely come back.
Place is chill. Super weak Bloody Mary’s so don’t order them. Polite crew
Coolest little coffee shop/cafe/bar. wide range of high quality items from specialty coffee to breakfast and lunch items to kombucha on tap. think of every trend and this place has it. I got the Mexican mocha with almond milk and it was really good, not too spicy or sweet. everything bagel with cream cheese was a bit lame but they have way more to offer. tots were delicious, and the acai bowl is also a must. employees were also knowledgeable and very nice. a must go to place here in SLO, stands above the other coffee shops.
One of my favorite places in SLO! They have incredible food and drinks, and quick service. Might be a challenge to grab a table during the day, but definatepy worth it. Its also open relatively late, which is nice if you need a place to hang out for a while and get some work done. Would definately reccomend!
This is an amazing cafe, and really just soothing. Its a kind of hip/retro/alternative. The music is calming and the environment and the energy is just very peaceful and puts you in a sense of ease. The coffee here is amazing 💕😍. The food is good, a little tip is dont get the broccoli soup 😂. The turkey pesto is a flavorful sandwich that I encourage you guys to try, I assure you it will not disappoint. Enjoy!!! 😘
Great coffee, great service and great vibe.
We came on Thanksgiving morning so not the most amazing timing. This was almost the only place that was open so it was packed... They ran out of the waffle and it took us 25 minutes to get our food :/ However we did like the place and it seems like it should be great on normal days... About 1/3 of the menu was vegan ❤️ They had a nice outdoors area and the food was not the healthiest but yummy.
No praise will ever do the service and foods of this fine establishment justice. The decor is thru the roof out there with service that is productive yet warming. Everything is served with a level quality and care that is a tremendous notch up from anything else youll find in SLO, and though youll pay a little more, the experience remains greater than the price you pay. From fresh Acai Bowls to Mochas laced with chocolate to chicken sandwiches flavored with taste to fries done in another dimension, God Bless Kreuzberg
Great little spot for hanging out and having some excellent coffee. They have a super cool vibe and everything seems to have some kind of meaning in the down low. I am not a local so it’s a bit confusing. But nothing a few questions can’t answer. I wouldn’t go here to find a quiet atmosphere. But overall a great spot
Had a pickup order that was 5 minutes late. Barista then was extremely rude telling us that we couldn’t have any lids even if I needed to drive. Asked another barista and he gave me a lid by splitting my drink. Coffee was actually pretty good though. Go for drinks! Don’t expect any service.
Great breakfast burritos and good coffee.
I might be slightly biased as I’m from Berlin but this is my absolute favorite coffee! Food is great and the friendly staff is the cream of the top!
What an amazing gem in downtown slo. This place has some of the best coffee in town and the ambiance inside is truly exceptional. I had the breakfast burrito which was delicious and filling with a cafe au le. The coffee was tasty and fresh and the staff had it all made in under 10 minutes. When I am back in slo again I will be coming back no question.
Great place to hang out. Lots of space. Good selection of coffee drinks
Nice and casual.
Excellent tea and food!
Beautiful venue. Great coffee. Lovely staff. Open Thanksgiving morning.
Great local coffee and vibes!
Good coffee, homemade almond and oat milk options, a legit breakfast and lunch menu. Its sometimes full of working students and takes a minute to find a spot, but usually one turns up. The vegan cauliflower buffalo style bytes are delicious. A favorite spot of mine as I work and live nearby.
I havent been in about 5 years but wow! What a change. My wife and I met a friend here for evening coffee and the place was very cozy and relaxing. We both truly enjoyed our evening out and I would definitely recommend it to anyone who enjoys coffee, and having a quiet social experience.
Their pour overs are always the best. They roast their coffee really well and you can tell that they train their baristas well also.I don’t know why, but most third wave coffee shops feel so sterile. You can almost predict what they’ll look like; white walls, minimalistic furniture and artwork, probably some cactus or other odd greenery. Kreuzberg doesn’t do that. They actually have some character and unique qualities and I love that about this shop. It’s always a stop when I come into town.
Great coffee!! Worth the stop!
Great coffee for sure! Its a perfect spot to get some work done or catch up with friends. I had a slice of the coffee cake and it was INCREDIBLE!
Good coffeePlenty of spots to sit down and sip your morning joe! They also have a good selection of beers and wine if thats your preference.Since this store is right in the heart of downtown, parking can be tough, not San Francisco tough but you might find parking a couple of blocks away.
Great food and coffee...awesome quirky decor...thank you!
This is the best coffee shop I have ever been to in the whole world. Truly! Great hipster, chill, and non-judgmental vibe. Great drinks and great food! I personally love the John Locke sandwich. You can do work in peace or have a group outing. I love to sit in the front in the window and watch the activity ok the street as I do my work. Kreuzberg is the coolest!!!🥇
Great lattes and snacks and during the day there is almost always at least one chair open to sit and enjoy your drink or to study/work. Great location and friendly staff. The breakfast burrito is certainly filling!
The coffee was amazing! It tasted great, presented well, and has an amazing atmosphere. The food was also very good. The staff was very friendly and accommodating.
This coffee shop is really cool and definitely had lasted longer than I thought it would. They roast the coffee on site And make the breakfast foods there as well. The coffee is well made and tastes great. The staff is hit or miss (thus the 4/5) and sometimes can be amazing and other times can be snobby, hipster kids. This is a great place to come to get a delicious cup of coffee or latte and sit and read a good book or study for a few hours. I would recommend it for its atmosphere and ambiance if not for the staff.
Very popular coffee/lunch/cocktail lounge spot. Be sure to look at the paper menus next to the cashier. Large selection of food, drinks, from coffee, tea to Beer and cocktails. Lots of seating options including outside for people watching on the sidewalk to upstairs rooms. Order at the bar and food will be brought to you by the number tag you will be provided. A bit of metal music. Lots of University aged people, lots of laptops.
Quite an awesome place! Great coffee, excellent service, and ambiance! I was serviced by Payton and she was super friendly & personable! Will definitely be back!
Delicious coffee (especially the lattes)! The baked goods are also really tasty, and staff was patient in suggesting their personal favorites and also kind when I needed a bag to carry my purchased items. The ambience of this place is the best around! Adorable window seats, spacious tables, and the room upstairs has great views of downtown as well as being a bit more secluded and quieter.
They toast their coffee beans in house. The atmosphere is somewhat of a deluge of college archetypes. Very warm, very welcoming. Food is amazingly sweet and savory. Baked type goods not meals. Unless you have the munchies, after all it is San Luis Obispo
Good espresso drinks for sure. Good lunch food too. Great decor. Funny that its called after a hip neighborhood in Berlin while Berlin is not such a great place for coffee.
Great environment to study and relax, love the ambience!
Great spot; laid back vibe with plenty of places to hole up with a book or conduct a meeting. Nice latte art. They could use a wider selection of beans on espresso; I’ve only been offered one roast.
Positive atmosphere, good food and a fun place to hangout or catch up on some work. The place looks nice but theyve removed a lot if the seating during remodelling so be aware that finding group seating is tricky. It can also get a bit loud in the busy hours.
The place has potential. But the potential is completely unfulfilled. I had avocado toast. The toast wasn’t toasted. The avo and tomato were cold. Straight out of the refrigerator cold. My double shot espresso was delivered as a barely warm single shot. My wife’s strong latte was weak and barely warm. It wasn’t busy. Maybe 10 other customers. And 4 staff. The counter server messed up not one or two, but three parts of my order. Wow! So bad.
Huge and very cool space. I grabbed a hot chocolate here but will definitely go back for a coffee sometime. I enjoyed the fact that they gave me a tiny cookie for my hot chocolate. The internet is fast and there are ample tables and even these two cool corner rooms that face the street. The place was a bit loud. The day I went they had live music which was pretty cool.
In the past week, we have been in 13 different states and drank a lot of coffee. This is by far the best coffee I have ever had. Staff is great. So good we ate here twice.
Always please, with the service and food.
We didn’t know what to expect, since this was our first time here. The chai latte was yummy. My partner had the classic brekky, and he was very happy with it. Everything was hot and tasty. I had the breakfast sando, and I was disappointed. The toast was cold and dry when I got the sandwich. The eggs were cold. The tomato was mushy. I looked at other orders coming out of the kitchen, and they looked good, so I think my sandwich may have been one-time mistake. We’ll try it again, and I’ll order something else.
One of the best coffee shops in town, with amazing food! Their wines are also really good.
Was asked to leave(in an unprofessional way)because I hadnt purchased anything yet. Even others near were making comments about it. As much as Ive purchased there before, this makes me not want to go back. I dont blame the employee(the messenger), but I do blame the management. I will recommend people NOT to go there until I receive an apology and further explanation.
Great cocktail lounge in the back of the coffee shop. Excellent art on the walls.
Bro. Gross. Nitro was sour and watery. And an iced oat milk mocha that was also sour and so so thick with minimal mocha flavor. Like. 😕 how was it all so bad?Throw in some extra hipster smugness and ya got your place a real winner here. Not.The place itself looked cool though. So I guess if you’re doing it for the gram this is the place for you.
Good coffee and my wife had the matcha tea latte that comes with unsweetened almond milk. She enjoyed it.
Great coffee and comfortable selection of seating. Armchairs, tables, and bar stools. Great atmosphere, great background music, large space nicely laid out.
Cute coffee spot found on our travels. Staff was friendly and attentive, coffee was tasty, and the pastry we shared was also good. Would definitely go back whenever we visit again
Stopped by after early morning fasting blood work and had a great breakfast. There pour over coffee waff fantastic
Awesome study space! Plenty of room but somehow always packed too. Good coffees and good snacks, can sit for hours!
Love Kreuzberg Cafe. Literally cant stop going back. Everything from when you walk in is enjoyable. The employees, the environment, the setting. Delicious selection of both drinks and food.
Good location and nice indoor seating options. Chai latte was one of the worst Ive ever had. Tasted like prune juice. They dont offer coconut milk which was a bummer...only almond or oat.
The chocolate cake is really good. Their chai is sweet but not overly so. My boyfriend had a grilled cheese and had them add tomato. He really enjoyed it. They also had a lovely cauliflower curry soup, just perfect for a cold, rainy day.
Custom roasted coffee, amazing attention to detail on specialty coffee drinks. I keep coming back. Beer and wine available as well in their cozy bar.
We love stopping here to get a coffee and some breakfast. Highly recommend it!
They have a great cup of coffee but the closest I have found to a real cappuccino like I discovered in Italy. It seems to be a great study spot but there are a lot of sounds and a lot of people meeting for food. There are all types of seating which is nice for if you go alone or a bigger group. I love all the nooks in this place too. Its a must see place if you go to SLO
Farmers Omelet is delicious. Folks at the counter and serving are really nice! Cool place to hang out.
They roast the beans in the store. Rich and tasty. Friendly staff and good food too.
