Advance Auto in San Marcos Perry is always so helpful hes my go-to guy

The clerk was super nice and truely tried to find a battery that would fit my car.

Ive been to the location MULTIPLE times, and was helped by the same employee on all 4 occasions. Justin is helpful, polite, and went out of his way to help me. As a single mom, it meant so much to me. Not only did he assist me in finding the parts I needed, but he also helped me replace my blinker bulbs and my headlights. Hes wonderful with my kids, making them laugh and letting them watch him change my bulbs. They look forward to seeing Mr. J and wave to him from our car when we drive past the store. Thank you to Advanced Auto, and especially to Justin.

They had Peak antifreeze, two gallons but $18 each is too much. However, I needed for my mothers car that I replaced her water pump. Next time Ill shop in my town.

Always have what I need and always get a discount when ordering online and then picking up in the store!!!

Good service, the only thing that concerns me is that the employee do not wear a mask, its irresponsible regardless if he believes or not in covid 19.

When I needed a new battery it was a very quick And painless experience getting it from here. I was a difficult customer because there was an online coupon that I wanted to use. They helped me find the correct battery online and store and then once I purchased it got it in my vehicle right away! I hate having to get my battery replaced but I’m very happy to get it done here.

They tell it like it is. My Check Engine light is on and they told my why for free. Read my cars computer and said it was the for a new catalytic converter. They said that a new option is available, a gas additive that actually cleans the muck out of the converter and gives you six months to raise your finances. Glad I made the stop. You have your light come on get over there and find out why. Of course follow the manual and stop immediately to check the obvious. Belts, water, gas cap. Stay save out there.

I ordered some parts from that store and the manager was very helpful getting the part for me and telling me it would be in the next day and sure enough it was there. Hes been a lot of help for several years.

The employees here are always so helpful and dont try to shove more expensive stuff at you. If they dont have it they will order it. A pleasure to shop here.

Don’t go to any other auto store then this one in San Marcos seriously the only place that really cares and goes above and beyond for people. I forgot the guys name but he stayed 2 hrs after they closed and called someone who needed to take apart my car so they could put in a new battery for me since my car was built weird. The people there are so sweet and offer a student discount for students.

The guys @ Advance Auto are very knowable and determine to help please the customer. The best customer service in San Marcos.

100% best auto parts store in San Marcos and Kyle. My oil filter cap broke as I was changing my oil on Sunday night. I live in Kyle so I called the Kyle location first, it said online that they had 5 in stock but when I talked to them they said they had none in stock. I called the next closest one in San Marcos and they had a few in stock. Carlos was awesome and said he would stay after for me to come pick it up since they were closing, best experience and people ever!!

An auto parts place that sells tools, helpful for folks like me who have yet to develop a took set. This is also an auto parts store that will gladly go all-out on helping you inspect your vehicle, the customer service is what serves it best!

Called several times, no answer then l. it was almost 6 had a order to pickup... said it would be there probably a min to or right at 6. Pulled up at 602. All the lights on 3 cars in the lot. But nope would not let me pick up my order. I will never do business here. Hope the 2 minutes was worth a customer. Im I understand you worked all day. Its a holiday weekend, but a little customer service would be nice!

Most everyone was knowledgeable and friendly except the older blode lady at the register. She seemed irritated cause she had to type a few things on the computer.

Good place for auto parts. It is cheaper if you order online. They normally offer 10 to 20 percent off online. Also makes it fast to get in pick up your parts and check out quickly. Printing out your onlibe order will help them find your order.

I ordered a part online for in-store pickup, and unfortunately it could not be found once I got there. However, the staff did not give up on me, and John even offered to go to another store that had it in Kyle and bring the part back for me. What could have been a very frustrating experience was turned into a minor inconvenience by their friendliness and professionalism. Ill keep coming back if thats the type of service I can expect.

Off I could give this company a negative star I would for non loyalty to there employees.if they rant loyal to them how can they be to there costomers.

Phone service is horrible! They answered with just Hello once I asked enough questions they finally told me I called Advance. That is it. I informed them of my vehicle and what I needed, they answered with we dont have it here. I had to que all the responses of if they can order it, what brand, pricing and when will it arrive. All I got was a one word response for each question.so I followed up with a second vehicle to which I was told they dont sell those (light bulb adjustment things), and that it will be in their Help section. I asked if they would check before I made the drive and for that I got put on hold for 5 minutes. Then another employee picks up with another greeting of Hello and I being to let them know of what I was looking for to then be randomly put back on hold. 5 minutes late I hung up.

Awesome service. Perry and the guys there are great. One of the few places left in town that offer a texas state discount.

Just the most helpful and politest employees. They are so awesome and answer all ur questions and help you find what you need even if they dont have it in their store.

AutoZone, OReillys, and Napa didnt have what I needed. Advanced had it and even tho they only had one part they were able to order a second and have it there by 2 PM that day. Perfect service. When the second part that came in technically was the exact same part but different brand I asked if I could swap it out just to be safe and have two matching brands. They didnt have a problem with it and ordered it same day.

**DISRESPECTFUL EMPLOYEES / DIDNT EVEN HAVE STOCK **After spending no more than ONE minute looking at windshield wipers & assuring Carlos that I knew what I was looking for Carlos yells at me from across the store accusing me that I didn’t know what I was looking for and that I was wasting my time. “Ma’am just let me help you because there’s a lot of different ones and you’re going to waste your time looking because you don’t know what you want”I come up to the service desk and he starts passive aggressively yelling at another employee about some numbers and says out loud “it’s just 5 numbers, get them tattooed on your head or something”. It was very awkward and I was uncomfortable (I said to him “Is this a bad time? should I leave?” And he said no and that everything was fine.They didn’t even ending up having what I needed. I’m never going back here again. Don’t come here if you want to feel like you’re stupid and uncomfortable.

Asked for a transmission kit for my 98 Dodge Ram 1500, I don’t remember what the employees name was but she gave me the wrong filter kit, and suggested me 9 quarts of transmission fluid, when only 5 was needed. Probably never visiting advance again.
