This is a store that you can spend hours just looking through the various things. They have a general sorting on items but to really find deals you just have to look a little. They have a much broader selection of things and have a larger selection of flooring products. The photo is of a rolling magazine rack I picked up for $5, of course it required assembly but it was very quick and easy to do.

Some cool things come through here, but the staff here put the prices way above where they should be for most items. Often times barely below retail. Id buy way more from here if they would lower them a bit.

Pretty much what youd expect from a Goodwill type place. Some items are more expensive than they probably would be at a Goodwill but you get a lot more construction and home improvement resources here. They have some pretty neat old power tools but I didnt see anything high quality which should be expected from this type of store. If you have very limited funds and absolutely need a power tool or similar item regardless of the shape its in or its quality, this is the right place for you. They have dozens of cordless drills that will work just fine to get the job done. If youre looking to get a discount on expensive power tools, look elsewhere.

This store is so much fun to look around in! It has everything and anything you could need for your home. Doors, stoves, cabinets, furniture, etc. It is definitely a place you will want to keep an eye on regularly.

It was OK, they have some really great items and some junk but either way its all VERY over priced so if your going expecting to find a great deal dont bother.

I got a gently used dishwasher for a great price and they have a large variety of hardware, doors, windows, ECT there to pick through.

Way too expensive. This shouldnt be a community program fixed on maximum profits. Its supposed to be a place to get good leftover materials and products at a great price. Theyre really hurting themselves and the community by being so profit motivated

Semi-good materials. Just a bit overpriced for what I would assume would be a second-hand store. Habit, in my opinion, would be with the families in need of decent and affordable materials. I get it, for everyone trying to keep themselves afloat, but overpricing some secondhand items are ridiculous.

It may feel like a second hand store but give it a chance, there are both new and used items mostly for the house. I bought a new-in-original-packing stainless steel sink for the kitchen at a fraction of what Lowes up the street would want.

I got a beautiful chandelier.They do have another I want, but amazon have a better price.Very organize, and attentive staff. Wear a mask and be safe.Thank you.

Some of their items are priced well, and others are way high even for being modernish / new outta box. Even some of their used stuff is priced high. If they would come down on prices a little more, they would get more traffic...... wish they had someone who is knowledgeable about all items and can set a realistic price .. Id be buying more from there.....

They dont have bags? Try walking out of the store with 21 paint brushes without dropping them. Customer service is poor, prices are high, and you cant even get a bag to walk out with your products. Maybe if the cashier would get off her phone for 2 seconds she could have found a box or a bag. Not recommended. Self absorbed millennials more concerned about social media than assisting customers.

Im a San Marcos chamber member and I decided to attend one of their events, which was at the Habitat for Humanity ReStore shop in San Marcos.I met most of the staff and they were extremely friendly and kind. I met the manager and she was so welcoming and offered me to take part of their free coffee, mochas and Javas desserts, and giveaways. I did and it was delicious.I bought a few things, love to support the community. Thank you San Marcos chamber and Habitat for Humanity for being such a wonderful organization!

The prices on furniture and whatnot is really expensive... However they have books for $1 and miscellaneous paint really cheap! I like going there for those things because we usually only do small home projects and I find they are very reasonable here. I have even seen some manga in the book section. :3

Love this place! I try to never be wasteful and this place puts me to the test.

Upon returning several times, I have found a team of people with a heart of service. They hold to Habitat for Humanity mission, but also seek to help the local population. The high prices I found were a mixture of corporate policy, and the one doing the pricing, trying to learn what to price things at. If they miss-price something, bring it to their attention. They have shown they want to do the right thing. I might suggest, instead of pricing something off of original retail price, find the current value as a used item. I know, that is a larger, more challenging task. The value of something is what people are willing to pay for it. That is where your pick your target. Those that have money and buy to support the larger mission, or the lower tier working people looking for that bargain to do that home repair cost effectively. Hard ballance to find, but with the heart I saw, you are up to the task.

I cant tell you how disappointed I was in this store! They had terrible brown sectional couches priced at... Hold on now $800.00! And a small apartment sized refrigerator for $400.00. I turned around and walked out. But this isnt the first time I have been here either. Stay away too much money for junk.Of course Habitat posted a response to the contrary of mine. It always boggles my brain when a company doesnt want to look at the issues. Only to pat themselves on the back. There wont be a next time for me but had there been I would have taken a picture of the $800.00 sofa.. I will for sure take my $800.00 and by a Lane brand new.

Some good deals to be had. I find more here than at the much larger San Antonio stores.

I love this place. I have been able to take a lot of stuff there that was too good to throw out, but I no longer needed. I was also able to pick up some things pretty inexpensively. A win - win.

I love this store! Friendly staff and they have so much interesting stuff. I do recommend to purchase your item if you find something as it is likely to be gone the next day. They have a lot of good stuff that goes quick!

Beautiful new facility with tons of great home supplies. It was awesome to see that they carry so many new items. Even most of the appliances and sinks looked new. My new go to place for home products and tools.

I was taken aback by how friendly every employee I encountered was. Exceptional.As far as items in store, there was a large variety of construction supplies such as light kits, doors, tile, rugs, and other flooring, electrical and plumbing plus furniture and knickknacks and much more.It is evident that care is taken to display them in an organized manner.

Wonderful place to fine second hand anything.

Very disappointed. Very high prices for very low quality in new items. Used items are same or more than new purchases in other stores lots of times. In searching I found a couple of items properly marked for true resale, but it takes lots of digging.

Prices were equal to or higher than most retail stores in the area . Dont plan on finding any good bargains.

I went there yesterday around 7pm with my wife and kids, they need to work on customer service the lady at the register didnt even acknowledge we were standing there waiting to pay for about 5 minutes she was at the register and we were the only ones in line waiting.

If you are looking for something that is for the house and you dont find it one week try the next week....who knows what will happen
