Zero stars...we spent 473 dollars none of the problems were fixed. Dont waste your time and money. We took our car in for a squeak up front which they charged 120 dollars to diagnose they didnt find the problem or fix it and charged us to do that. Then they fix the a/c..we get it back and its still blowing hot air. Take it back in still hot air and now its leaking coolant from whatever they didnt fix. I will never take anything here again.
Great selection and friendly staff - Owner is very focused his customers! i will go back!
Adam and the mechanics were very courteous and honest ... Adam was upfront told me 3 or four days and did it in 3 ... I am very impressed with car quest and will do all my business with them ... Thanks again
These guys squeezed me in on a friday evening quoted me a decent price. Ended up finishing early for less than quoted. They earned my business, I will come here from now on.... honest service with a smile. The best thing to happen in 2020 !
Very knowledgeable staff and great selection of items, unfortunately did not have and could not get the part I needed.
The most knowledgeable parts guys Ive ever met. They dont ask you engine size to recommend the correct windshield wiper blades or tail light bulbs
If you want quality work done quickly by people you can trust this is the place to go! Derrick and his crew got my vehicle in next day and fixed 5 issues for $600 less than two other quotes. Cannot recommend them enough!
The best guys, very accommodating when we were broke down traveling through. Knowledgeable and friendly to boot! Thanks guys!!
Ordered CVT fluid online, and they sent the wrong item. I was able to return to store with full credit (with the assistance of PayPal). Return was hassle free.
Other places were booked at least 2 weeks out...they got me in the very next morning...not going anywhere else...ever
Carquest in Sandpoint is awesome! Excellent service and great work ethic. They were able to fix my car quickly and had the best price for it. They didn’t try to sell me on a bunch of extras. Just got the job done and had our car up and running in no time. Thanks, Carquest!
Above and beyond service thank you!
This is an old school parts store. Helpful folks and I have been able to get stuff that other stores have told me are almost unobtainable. Like International Harvester or old Jeep parts. Auto machine shop on site, I think. Worth a look.
Great customer service. Open early and closes late which makes it easy to drop off my car for service before work and pick it up after work. Derrick and the crew do a great job. Thank you
Great small-town service and a large inventory. Very competitive prices. The staff is very helpful! Stocks 5W40 LiquidMoly oil now for your Audi and other German cars. Great prices too.
Very honest and fair price! Mechanic Dave didnt try to sell me anything more than my simple oil change! Honesty goes a long way with me! 👍
Fast customer service! Recommend to anyone in need of repair parts for your automobile.
Friendly and helpful. Fair prices
Fast, friendly service and good mechanic shop.
Had the part I needed for my 2013 Subaru when no one else in town had it. Thanks guys!
Quick, friendly service. Always willing to help answer questions.
Great place very knowledgeable staff
Will take the time to help you out. Great place for all models
Awesome people extremely knowledgeable
Was told I had a bad Ignition control module. They replaced it charged me $300, and then gave my car back still broken with the same issue. Come to find out I had a bad alternator $76 more just for the part! Wasnt even offered any help even after they basically ripped me off.
Great service, good people! Prices are affordable!
Had a wheel bearing go out on the boat trailer and they helped us get all the right parts while we fixed it in the parking lot
On Wed. 10/14/15, I was on day # 8 of my fall road trip. The 2009 Toyota Corolla I was driving had run fine the first 7+ days. About 25-30 miles south of Sandpoint, ID, the battery light on the dashboard lit up and then disappeared 1-2 seconds later. One time, its a fluke. When it happened 4-5 more times over the next half hour, I knew I had problems and got it to the OReilly Auto Parts store north of town about 30 minutes before their 8 PM closing for a free test. The employee said the starter, battery and alternator all passed but that he thought it might be a serpentine belt and/or tensioner issue since the engine had a clunky rather than humming sound. He gave me the name of two auto mechanic shops I could try the next morning.Since it was too late to do anything on Wednesday, I took a motel for the night and called his top suggestion at 6:30 AM Thursday (the # provided on the answering machine in the event of an emergency)--but still hadnt gotten a return call an hour later (and never did). The business across from OReillys was booked with appointments until 11 AM.The hotel clerk gave me the phone # to the NAPA Auto Parts store in town and I called them. They said they didnt do repairs but he suggested CARQUEST just around the corner. At 7:30 AM, I called and was shocked to get an answer on the first ring. After explaining my predicament, Jim (the mechanic) said to go ahead and bring it down and hed take a look at it as soon as he could. After arriving about 15 minutes later, he popped the hood and took out a stethoscope type of contraption Id never seen before and inserted it in various spots around the engine. His diagnosis was that the alternator was ready to go but that hed need to take the serpentine belt off to be 100% sure.As a Michiganian over 2000 miles away from home, I knew I was at the mercy of the mechanic and just hoped that hed fix the problem for under $500 and get me back on the road before noon. They didnt have the alternator in stock but got one delivered from one of the local auto parts stores. After taking a walk around town to exercise and kill some time, I was shocked to see the carparked in front of the building with a tag on the key at 9:30 AM. Just to be sure I wasnt hallucinating, I popped the hood. The new alternator and serpentine belt stood out like a sore thumb. The final bill was $365.49 for EVERYTHING and was probably done in less than an hour (upon arrival of the alternator). The Toyota made it all the way back to MI without any further incidents. If youre an out of towner and in a bind late at night, Id give this business my first call around 7:15 AM the next morning and hope to be no worse than 2nd or 3rd in line. I was fortunate to be the second repair of the day. Thanks for getting me home without another dashboard light popping on.Patrick J. McGuirePortage, MI
I have tried so many times to make this my go to shop as they are usually slightly better pricing than the other companies around here but I have had such poor customer service the last several times that I am completely done with this place. I called and got a quote on either honing or boring a single cylinder and was told no problem just bring it in, so I did and the guy takes one look at it and says its junk just throw it away when I took it to another shop and only ended up needing honing not even a note. They have all the right tools and shop and do that kind of work but once again the staff is too rude to try to put helping the customer first, rather what they want to do or who they want to help at that time. I have had staff completely ignore me and help other regular customers before me after I stood in line for close to ten minutes while the clerk finished with a customer on the phone, two other employees behind the counter completely treated me as I didnt exist. Now finally the nail in the coffin I have been out work for 3 days waiting on a part that has come in twice now and both times someone apparently opened the package and took half of the parts out. I tried talking to the manager and he wouldnt even talk to me he just had the message relayed that they will be getting a box in tomorrow and maybe those will be full kits. With no sense of security on if for sure I am going to even get this part or not, no way of trying to explain to me what they are going to do to fix this situation or anything. I am completely done with this place.
HOW do I turn this OFF!I constantly have this starting up when I dont want it to be running?Leave me alone!
My go to olace for most auto things and parts
Not happy with the people that work there
Great guys!
