I attempted to buy a couple of marine batteries and match my existing starting/deep-cycle pair. The guy helping me insisted I need both to be deep-cycle batteries. I tried to explain that my boat engine specifies not to use deep cycle battery for starting. (see pic). I also tried to explain my existing batteries were NOT both deep-cycle, but he insisted they were. I looked up the numbers later to find I was correct. One was DC-deep cycle and the other was DP-dual purpose. My introverted-self gave the benefit of the doubt to the NAPA guy assuming he knew what he was talking about (he did not). I called a local marine supply shop who confirmed I should have at least one starting or dual-purpose battery. Why didn’t I go there to begin with? Why, indeed.Out of curiosity, I checked the Google reviews for this NAPA store. There seemed to be a common theme for one particular guy, dating back as far as two-years ago. He has received multiple “rude” reviews. You guessed it, mullet-man.BTW-having been in the store many times, the other employees I have encountered were most helpful and friendly. Not sure why this guy is still there.

Rude to my wife. Her and her dad needed a part to fix her car, so she went in to Napa to get it knowing full well what it was she needed; she has been working on cars -building them even- with her father since she was 10. When she went in and asked for the part which I had called to confirm they had, they gave her the run around insisting that she needed to have her husband come in to make sure she was getting what she really needed. They finally sold it to her but not before hassling her needlessly like this.My wife is not a moron. She is however a paying customer. If she asks for a part, sell her the !%)*!!) part. I will go to Oreillys next time or better yet I will just order from Rock Auto. When I order from Rock Auto, no one calls me before shipping my order to condescendingly confirm that I know what I actually want. Hint: If I didnt know, I would ask for your advice and have many times in the past. Or we would have probably just taken it to a mechanic.All you had to do was mind your own business to keep mine. Is that so hard?

Bought 135 dollar utv belt from one napa store they gave me wrong belt went in to sandpoint to simple exchange for correct belt but I lost my receipt the belt is a napa brand belt they told me exchange or replace at any napa national wide thats a lie belt is new unused because they have no good help they never told me I had to keep my receipt

Not sure if they work on commission or not. I went in and asked if the could help me run a test on my car because it was sqeekin and acting funny with a lack of power. They hooked me up to a little device and proceeded to tell me that my alternator was shot and so was my battery. I spent over 350.00 including ten dollars for afraid to have my new alternator shipped to them. Bought both items and a few days later took it into a local shop to have the labor done to fix my car.. the shop told me my battery and alternator were fine and all I needed was to have my belt tightened. Took items back to Napa to not only be told it will take 7 to 10 days for a refund but also to have them not pay me back for the freight charge they had me pay in order to purchase an item from them that they said I needed, which I did not. The gentleman who told me that I needed this alternator and battery a week before wouldnt even look at me in the eyes when I told him that wasnt the problem. Very disappointed with my experience at Napa. I will take my business elsewhere

Theyve always been able to get the auto parts Ive needed, even if they didnt have the parts I needed in stock they would order them and have within the next day or two.

Store was great besides the rude man with the mullet and glasses.
The two guys standing behind the counter, August 18, refused to help us. They went so far as to turn the backs and walk away. Ignored us and acted like they couldnt hear us. Worst experience in a store ever!
