This little hidden gem has some great food! They told me they do catering and I got a couple to go dishes, very tasty. I recommend the beef stew and a lot of people might want to know that they have the Filipino comfort food pancit. 🍜😋

The store is small but it offers so much in prepared foods. The food is always good and they serve big portions. Service is very friendly. Never hesitates to help or answer any questions. Also gives great suggestions for other filipino restaurants in the central and North Florida area. Even though this little filipino mart is out of the way, we try to make it a habit to pick up dinner on our way home. Check out their Instagram @deguzmanfoods for their daily offerings.

I haven’t had De Guzman in over a year and having major withdrawals. I tried a new place in Colorado for lumpia and it was terrible. I moved to south Florida and have been searching for something even comparable and everything I get doesn’t come close. I will be making the 4 hour trip up next week and stocking up!!!!!

I miss this location so much. I moved away to Clermont and theres no Filipino stores near here.I went to the nearest DeGuzman to me in Orlando and it was awful, a completely different experience and vibe.Makes me miss this Sanford location so much!This location has always been friendly I come in every few weeks I stock up and the hot food was always fresh!

I came here a while ago to find a daikon, then I saw the menu on the wall and asked if I could have some food... They told me that they only cook some of the food on the weekend and they had already finished lunch. So, today I came back because it was across the street from where I was working, and tried the pork barbecue, and the bicol express. The pork barbecue was quite good, slightly sweet and very flavorful. The bicol express was very delicious, a little bit fatty for my taste, but quite unlike anything Ive ever tasted. I wish I had known about this place sooner.

The best Filipino Food in Sanford and Orlando area, the owners are very friendly too. Their prices are very reasonable and they have almost everything that you need. I gave this Oriental Store a 5 star.

Very small. Cleanliness was kind of sketchy. Very disappointing. No produce. Just basic spices. Nothing you couldnt find in the international aisle of a Winn Dixie.Dont waste your time.

Money not worth when buying food in this store. When buying their kare-kare theres no meat just vegetables thats pandaraya or deceiving the customers. Also their chocolate meat or dinuguan its more fatty parts just a little of pure meat of the pork. Maging tapat na po sa ating namimili.

Im half filipino and was raised on the Filipino culture and can cook the food too! I had their dinuguan and it basically made me feel nostalgic.I also made purchases throughout the store, I just wish they had more in their inventory. Lovely family, they were surprised I could speak the language,then the father started cracking jokes.I will definitely be back again soon!

Seems very small but theyre prepared foods to go are excellent! So many local Filipinos use their catering services and when you try their take out youll see why!

I grew up eating Filipino food and the chicken adobo, and pork bbq made me feel nostalgic. It was authentic and we didnt feel salty after eating. My family will definitely be going back again. We just moved from the Northeast and super happy that we can get authentic Pinoy food in Lake Mary area.

I am half Filipino, and I grew up not only eating but cooking Filipino food. The food is delicious at De Guzman and authentic. The family is friendly and always provide great service. The father must spend enormous time cooking(some dishes require hours of cooking) and tasting the seasoning in his food. Because, the food is always consistent. I am a chef, so although I can cook these dishes based on my culture and skill level, I appreciate the fact that when I am not working I can just go somewhere nice to grab an extremely great priced taste of the Philippines. Salamat sa iyo De Guzman!

Great asian mart, serves Filipino food in the back, service with a smile. On weekends serves Lechon Kawali, recommend the Lumpia Shanghai, go to for Filipino food in Sanford/Lake Mary area. Great people.
