Rafi is the best. Took great care with my 996. Took the time to fix it right the first time, instead of throwing parts of the problem.

I have Rafi service all my cars - Ferrari 308, Porsche 993 & 968, and Fiat Abarth. He never let me down! When I first got the 308, it did not pass smog (came from Pennsylvania), but Rafi took care of it. It didnt cost me an arm and a leg, either. Discount R2 should be the name of the shop. LOL

Expensive but fun

I shipped my 2004 BMW X3 to R2 Racing to repair my transmission and AC evaporator leak. I was charged twice for the labor on two salvage transmissions and after a few days of using the AC, it stopped cooling. I had previously consulted with BMW service about this issue, and was advised that the evaporator needed replacing and the process included taking the dashboard completely apart to replace the evaporator. This information was provided to Raffi, one of the owners. In my opinion, I think R2 Racing used Stop Leak as a temporary fix. After contacting Raffi by phone about my concerns, he admitted that he charged me twice on the transmission labor. He also told me he would credit me on future repairs. When I contacted him recently, he didnt want to live up to his word. In my opinion, R2 racing lacks in competency and honesty. I feel Iike Ive been cheated out of thousands of dollars (please see my receipts on YELP to show that I was a customer). As a result, I purchased a Tesla so that I would never need services from(in my opinion) dishonest ICE mechanics ever again. I absolutely would not recommend this place. ReplyIn my opinion this is just more dishonest tactics I didnt provided any transmission.Please folks take a look at my review on Yelp and see the image of my receipt. Also I never asked for a full refund I asked for the credit($750) that Raffi, one of the owners promised my and now is refusing to provide for me a customer that spends hundreds of thousands of hard earn dollars with them. I my opinion its sad to see how dishonest this shop is.In closing people there are plenty of fantastic shops in the area but this aint one, please do your research, and read all the reviews in full, and dont make the same mistake I did.
