Great place for anyone who likes to cook. The sales staff are very knowledgeable and can recommend products that theyve tried and use themselves. Found great gifts for friends as well as cool things for myself.

I always think outloud when Im choosing between items and he stood by and answered all my retoricle mumbling. A++!!! Wish I had gotten his name so he could be complimented properly.

This store has an excellent selection of kitchen goods. Its fun to visit and to see new items. The only downside is that most of them are outrageously overpriced!

I have nothing but love for this company! Truly a great experience. I live very far from their store, so I only learned about them online, after looking for non toxic cookware, and I stumbled upon their line of Chamba clay pots and utensils. The customer service that I recieved from Mr. Charles Nelson, the store owner (a fact that he never personally even mentioned to me), after inquiry after inquiry from me about this line, from tips, to putting a set together, to working together through distressing issues not caused by the company itself, to information on how to use and care for my order, was phenomenal and is unfortunately rare these days and must be shared. And because of Mr. Nelsons patience and amazing service, I was able fo find the best prices on these pots, and now have the confidence to use them. I cannot express my gratitude enough for such amazing service. I am all smiles with this company. Thank you Touque Blanche and Mr. Nelson. Not only do they offer amazing, hard to find products, but the service is 10 stars out of 5! I would not hesitate to reach out to them again, or purchase from their store.

They need me employees working. I had to wait 20 minutes just to get in the store, and waited another 10 minutes for someone to acknowledge me. Then when I asked for my item to be gift wrapped, I was told to go grab a coffee....

I wanted a Zyliss salad spinner with the pull cord. Ordered it first from Zyliss directly -- in July! It is now nearly October and the thing is still back ordered. Tried to order it from Amazon, but no luck there either. At least they let me know of the delay and gave me the opportunity to cancel my order. Then I discovered Toque Blanche (by web searching on Google) and found that the price they wanted was almost twice what I would have paid at the other sources. Stuck at home, really wanted this product, so gave up paid the money to Toque Blanche to send me the Zyliss salad spinner I wanted so much! Well, it was worth the money. They kept in touch about my order from the order placement all the way through delivery, which was a total of 3 days. No back order, no argument. Good service, packaging was great (and biodegradable, I might add), the spinner is in pristine condition, and I could not be happier. Great place to buy your cooking tools on line. You may pay more but you will get a new item in good condition that has not been shopped and it will be delivered within a reasonable (or better) amount of time. Recommend this seller.

This is ine if my favorite shops to come see when visiting Santa Cruz. It has EVERY kitchen convenience you can imagine and some you cant. The prices arent that bad considering the quality of most of the items. If you like cooking this is a must see.

Really nice cooking store. When Ive been there shopping for knives, they have been very helpful. They have some great brands and a lot of fun products. Once a month they have a knife sharpening service come as well that does a great job. I would love to see a little bit more selection for espresso machines and the like!

I love Chefworks! I make sure to stop by this store every time I am in Santa Cruz. They were recently purchased by a new owner and have made some FANTASTIC changes. I did not think my favorite Kitchen store could get better but it did. I do not agree with these old comments the staff was very knowledgeable and happy to help.

Knife (opinel no8) had a very slight burr on the edge and they replaced it at no extra cost. They even let me test it on a potato.

Im a younger man of 20 something and the older ladies running the place were obviously uncomfortable with my being there. Very pushy in order to get me out of the place and the know it all attitude was rather demeaning. Unless youre over 50, prepare to be judged.
