Absolutely amazing shop! They have a very unique line of goods. From high quality boards to surf shaping supplies to unique and local artisan goods..this shop has it all! Plus you can get a coffee while you peruse. Dylan(?) was such a stoked dude and made the experience even better. Highly recommend Midtown!!!

Stopped by after a MTB ride at Soquel Demonstration Forest. I loved the atmosphere and the Vanilla Latte and Cappuccino I tried. Very friendly baristas as well. My girls love to surf, so I’ll have them check out the surf-related inventory next time around, which will certainly be soon! :-)

Surf shop + coffee? Wait, what? Such a place exists? Yes, and it is awesome!Midtown is super stylish and inviting. Great ambience too. A surf shop with all the beautiful things you would expect. Clothes, accessories, decor, lifestyle stuff, etc. And all the amazing surfboards too, of course. It doesn’t matter if you surf or not, I’m sure you will find something here.And I simply loved the idea of incorporating a coffee shop to it. You can get your shopping done and enjoy a coffee. Or come for coffee and buy something from the store. That was my case. Came for coffee with a friend and left with a hat and mug.Will certainly go again since I loved the atmosphere and concept. Glad to have this new spot in SC.

Finally, a quality surf shop in Midtown.This shop just opened and already I’m impressed with the selections and prices. Not too overloaded with junk, but it has a lot of stuff.Sticks of all kinds, wax, fins, wetsuits, trunks, cloths and more.Look out for the 50% off sale rack, loaded with goods!The staff and owner are helpful and cool too.

I absolutely love this place. Everyone is super helpful and not only are the boards and surf accoutrements stellar, but so is the coffee. ITs everything I ever dreamed of in a surf shop.

Midtown Surf Shop was the only place where I found Dakine Roof Rack Pads in a color way and size that was sold out everywhere else. On top of their incredible inventory, the shipping was lightning speed, and their customer service was top notch! Such a cute shop, from what I can tell and I hope to one day visit. Highly recommended! Support small businesses :)

Really rude staff, sold a defective product and the male manager was sooooo condescending, their inventory is not very unique either. I won’t be going back

I’ve used Midtown to sell one of my boards, buy another used board, and have taken advantage of their demo program twice to test out new boards. Not to mention wax, ding repair supplies, etc etc etc. Koa, David, Vinny, and the other guy (sorry I forgot his name!) are always super generous with their time and happy to delve into their in-depth knowledge. They’ve done an amazing job building a beautiful shop to hang out in and find quality products.

Really great place. Awesome coffee (including decaf!) and we picked up some great deals on both men’s and women’s clothes and hats. Cute kids stuff too. Will defo revisit when in the area to check out the cool brands and to enjoy the relaxed vibe.

I absolutely love this place. The staff is super friendly, approachable, and easy to engage with. I like to work there from time to time while my daughter attends dance class.My favorite drink is the chai tea latte if I’m not watching my diet. It’s also nice to have a simple cup of tea. It’s pretty quiet and the WiFi is awesome.

I ordered some roller skates on their website. Im scared to even write a review because theres a lot of good reviews. However, I have been waiting almost a month to receive my skates. It says its still pending to this day. I spent a lot of money on them. I dont know how this store is because ive never been there. Im sure i would love it in person, but this website really needs to put it out there that their online purchases/deliveries will be delayed. I much rather get my refund than to wait for them to respond. I even emailed them twice, and no response. I never bash on any business especially a local one like this, but this business really either needs to get back to me and assure me that my purchase will be delayed and/or should put it on their website.
