A must stop for a peaceful ambiance. The coolest part is the details created from a 100 year old tree. The place was truly dedicated to opening up a space for people to come in and gather.

It was my 1st time trying the coffee today and I ordered a machiato ☕ The service was super sweet and the staff were very nice and kind. I actually really love the atmosphere, its located right next to the church and has a beautiful fountain and garden outside.. And just a few steps away is the beautiful ocean and view of the pier. Price was decent and coffee is a bit strong bitter but it does the job!

Amazing interior and exterior. Their coffees are simply amazing. Iced Vanilla latte and Ice Mocha right next to the Beach in Santa Cruz and with its own garden and benches.I highly recommend that place. I should also note that they have a huge parking lot for their customers.

I think this place deserves more reviews, good reviews. Its a beautifully styled, ambient, relaxing place with good coffee and friendly baristas. Its wonderfully located, with an abundant indoor and outdoor seating. I love coming here when I visit Santa Cruz.

I was surprised to find this little coffee shop next to a church. I feel it added to the great experience. The staff are very friends and the moca was the best Ive had.

A real gem hidden right by the famous Steamer Lane surf spot. Incredibly tasteful interior design, great coffee, and very friendly staff. Also, the profits go for a good cause. I’d give six stars if I could.

I LOVE Shrine Coffee! Their baristas know their stuff and are super friendly. I’ve really enjoyed just about anything I’ve tried there from the lattes to the teas, etc. it’s all been super tasty.I’d recommend grabbing a cup of whatever you’re in the mood for and enjoying it while walking along West Cliff but if you decide to chill at Shrine there’s enough seating and the place is gorgeous.Definitely recommend a stop at Shrine whenever you’re in Santa Cruz!

Nice shop and courtyard but you have to walk by multiple anti-abortion monuments. Seems intense when I just want a cup of coffee.

Shrine is an absolute gem. The coffee is so good and I love the outdoor courtyard with the water fountain. We went there nearly every day on our weeklong stay in Santa Cruz. One day we went somewhere else just to switch it up and quickly decided we needed to go back to Shrine. Can’t say enough good things about this place!

My wife and I had the mocha. it was one of the best we have had. Customer service was topnotch. I will be coming back.
