Very cute cafe with excellent coffee, breakfast food, and pastries. The cafe has a great vibe and decor with tons of seating both indoors and outdoors.

I’ve always loved Cat & Cloud and this new location is just as great! The coffee is best in Santa Cruz and now the burritos and food is amazing! Had the burrito with avocado and my wife had the avocado toast with egg. So good!

Love the flat whites here. Best Ive had in a while. The breakfast burritos were also very delicious. I saw reviews that went both ways on the burritos, which is odd to me... I loved it. They also have some non standard coffee options, like paleo latte (blended coffee, butter, mct oil). Outdoor seating could be improved with some umbrellas and shade options. All the employees were super friendly and helpful.

Good vibe cafe, amazing avocado toasts and delicious Granola!! Not much pastries left after 12pm so head their early!!Everyone was also super friendly and happy to be there.

I know someone who works there and I have heard about the perks they give their employees and I love businesses that are supportive of their employees. And the drinks that I tried from there was amazing! I forget the exact name of the drink but it had the word beige in it.

Great spot in a neighborhood full of interesting places.I enjoyed the coffee but even more the avocado toast, with carrots and paprika.Right now they dont have dine-in, but you can grab one of the benches outside and enjoy the Santa Cruz sun.Totally recommended.

Great coffee house. Fun atmosphere. I love they have huge open doors for that morning coastal breeze to flow. Wife had some really good iced coffee. I had the ice Chai. Very high quality stuff. Our new favorite spot to start our day before heading to the surrounding local businesses.

Staff was friendly and polite. Coffee was decent. Note that there really isnt any good place to charge devices there. Also, the WiFi is very slow.

The husband picked this as his favorite coffee of the trip, and we went back, so it doesnt get a terrible rating. However, the breakfast burrito was one of the most disgusting things Ive ever had, and definitely the worst of the trip. It would have been great, the flavors were good, but one of the last bites filled my mouth with oil, like truly gushing out into my mouth and making me feel sick. Hopefully it was a one-time mistake, but it was a bad one. Drain your potatoes and bacon.

The breakfast burrito is fantastic, and stuffed with quite a bit of bacon. The baristas are really nice, and are really good at latte art! Its a shame that its almost immediately covered by a lid!Also, they draw really cute cats on all of the takeout containers.Part of my SC visit routine.

Cat and Cloud has ample parking and is in a great location. I ordered an iced latte and a café au lait for my mom. My iced latte was great and affordable compared to other small coffee shops Ive been to. My mom said her coffee was great too, although she said said that she would prefer if the shop offered Splenda in addition to Stevia (they have quite a different taste apparently). The employees were all very friendly, especially the man who brought my order out and complimented my hat! I would definitely recommend Cat and Cloud.

Meh. I really want to like this coffee shop (we live down the street, for goodness sake) but after a few tries, both the coffee and the espresso consistently taste sour to me. I prefer Italian-style dark roast flavor in coffee/espresso, and while I would be more than happy to be proven wrong, to me this place puts style over substance. I recommend Alta (around the corner on Mission Ext) instead for coffee and espresso.

We were just visiting and we actually have received this coffee in a subscription so of course we had to stop. We are so glad we did! We were not too hungry so we just shared a pastry. This was an everything flaky pastry with a savory cheese inside, super delish!Staff were super nice and they have some cool merch too!

I was looking for a place like this with an wonderful outdoor patio close to the ocean. So great to have some refreshment after running at westcliff or take a coffee to go for enjoying the sunset.

Such a treat starting the weekend here! First time visiting and the crew working could not have been nicer and felt super safe with covid protocol! ALSO the iced chai was delicious, well blended and not a syrup taste like some other places AND the Potato Curry Galette was 10/10! Could not recommend more 😊

WONDERFUL COFFFE gf and I just moved to the west side from the east side area and she showed me this place the best coffee ever and the staff is very wonderful and knowledgeable about the coffee and roasts and will take the time to let you try some and explain it to you definitely will be my go to coffee!!

While staying in Santa Cruz for a week, I frequented this cafe several times, ordering the chai (w/ oat milk) several times. The flavor was a great blend of sweet and spicy, and was delicious both iced as well as hot. The iced version even had just the right amount of ice, unlike many other cafes where they make the drink mostly out of ice. We also purchased a bag of beans and their iced americano. The premises were nice and were maintaining diligent safety boundaries during the COVID season.
