Still enjoying our mattress after 10yrs. Im going to get another layer of foam for firmness on my side soon. The sheet of foam is around $10 and worth it. Great mellow helpful crew here.

I had a great experience buying a futon here! I went to look a few times and then I ordered one. I scheduled delivery AND set up because I am spoiled like that. They can exactly within their window of time and the guys who came were super nice, covid safe and helpful. They set everything up. There was an unexpected scratch on the futon and they showed it to me and offered either a discount or to replace it. They set everything up and even added felt pads to the bottom of the futon so as not to scratch my floor. Then they showed my how to use the futon. I was really impressed with the service and so far the futon seems great as well. (Havent slept on it yet, but it seems comfy.)

Love this bed! When I told people I was changing the stiffness of my moms bed they were like... How can you do that!This place has a great component system that makes it easy to customize the feel of the bed even over time.In my case my elderly mom was finding her plush bed was a bit too plush after having the bed for two years. I was able to purchase a set of stiffer springs and swap them out in a few minutes.Improved moms mobility and well worth the cost.

I bought a queen size mattress here about 5 years ago, in 2011. It has coil springs with 4 layers of one inch latex on top and an organic cotton and wool cover. This has been the most comfortable bed Ive ever had in my 60+ years. You get a super custom bed, but not at a bargain basement price. However, Im very satisfied that this bed will last far longer and remain comfortable for many years to come, unlike the bargain basement mattresses that Ive bought in the past. If the latex gets saggy (which it shows no signs of doing yet) then it is replaceable. This is not a cheap bed because a bed this good cant be put together for cheap money. You get what you pay for. Im a very satisfied customer. Delivery was on time and friendly. No regrets.

I really needed a box spring and they helped me so quick! I love that they even disposed of my old one! No heavy lifting on my part Im definitely going back when I need to upgrade. Nothing beats good customer service!

We are very happy with our bed. The sales process was very pleasant and informative. The bed was delivered and set up very professionally. After a couple of weeks of owning the bed, I decided my side was too firm. They came out and changed it within a day or two of calling. Could not ask for better service.We did our research before buying and found with the level of service, choice and quality, that it was a good purchase. I suspect those reviews saying it is overpriced have an inferior product and cannot replace the parts in the bed like one can with these mattresses.

This is a wonderful place. I told the sales man (I think hes the owner) what my needs were and what my budget was, and he found me the perfect mattress. Ive had it for about a year now and it is so comfortable. Thank you!

I originally wrote here, giving Bay Bed and Mattress one star, because I felt I was led to believe the wrong information. I am the 25 year old with crohns disease who complained about the owner Dan and how I was treated while I was there. Now I didnt just give him one star on this site, but every review site I could find. I bought a bed somewhere else,and thought that was the end of it. The mattress I bought has given me THE WORST back pain Ive ever experienced (and I never had back pain before). So with my tail between my legs I called Dan (hoping he wouldnt recognize my voice, but he did, oops :) to see if he had any advice the place I bought my mattress didnt tell me. I wanted to be informed all around. Dan kindly listened to me, even though he told me he was hurt I had such a bad experience, and gave me a few pointers to try and make a mattress I didnt buy from him, more comfortable. Thats got to count for something. I dont know why our first meeting didnt go well, but to try and comfort me when I had written such things about his business is amazing to me. I just called him again and let him know I wish I had bought a mattress there!

After extensive research about mattresses, I chose Bay Bed and Mattress. I am a side sleeper and had shoulder pain. Their mattress can be customized for each side of the bed (I bought a King) and 3 zones along your body. Also, you can get latex foam, and with a wool top layer, you wont get the fire retardant. The mattress is great, no smell even right out of the package.I did have a huge problem with the delivery to my out of town location, though (but there is good news-read on). The driver from DHE Trucking wanted to drop the mattress (132lbs) at the street, 300 ft from my house (no sidewalks). He, at my request, helped get it on top of my car, I drove it up my driveway to my house and after I untied the rope, he proceeded to push the mattress off the roof of my car (without waiting for me to get ready) and broke the mirror off my Toyota Rav, costing me $390 to fix. After contacting DHE and having them blame me for the damage, I called Dan at Bay Bed and Mattress. They paid the entire bill! This is the kind of service I had hoped the truck company would provide, but Dan really stepped up. Its a small company, and they obviously go the extra mile to provide good service and make their customers happy. I highly recommend them.

This place is over priced. I found the same furniture at furniture outlet in Watsonville for a fraction of the price. Id recommend to everyone I know not to go here, and refer them to furniture outlet.
