I have had the most positive repair experiences at Synergy Tech. Unlike other tech repair businesses, even the apple store, the service at Synergy Tech includes: no pretension, plenty of patience and very clear communication and pricing expectation. I always feel like Im getting honest, accurate diagnosis and know what Im paying for. I have very bad luck with tech/my phone, which could be hugely frustrating, but the experience of going to Synergy Tech is so positive it makes getting a broken screen fixed not so bad. I brought my cellphone in to replace the battery. The young women tending the front of the business were polite and courteous. They called me on a phone I had given them the number to call when they were done replacing the battery and after a few hours they called me, letting me know my phone was ready to be picked up. Came in with my phone that was severely broken to the point I could no longer use it at all, the staff got my info and all information needed while I went next door to the brewery. Came back 45 minutes later to a phone that looked brand new, I am very pleased to say the least it was overall a very painless experience and I really appreciate that. Easy five star review. These guys are very reasonably priced, friendly, and most importantly - good at what they do. My phone was a complete nightmare horror show disaster after I smashed it on cement steps, but it came out looking like new in less than an hour. These guys are good. I was in Sante Fe on vacation when my phone stopped working. Sprint sent me to Synergy. The staff knew what the problem was within a minute. She took the time, despite the fact that they were closing in fifteen minutes, to see if she could get it resolved. She did it 😃 She also explained things to me that I didn’t understand and very patiently answered all my questions! I haven’t had service like that in a very long time. I wish I could remember her name 😔 Thank you so much!!!!!

Quick and correct iphone repair.

I have debated writing this review as I’m not sure anyone even takes the time to read reviews anymore but the situation has bothered me so much that I hope it helps others in their decision.Short story: Do not give them your business.Long story: 05/08/2020- dropped off laptop and charger. The women said they would call the next day for diagnosis. I was looking at 5-7 days for diagnosis and repair. Called 05/09/2020- no answer. No call back. 05/10/2020- no answer. No call back. 05/11/2020- I received a voicemail from ST that they have ordered the parts and they’d be in on 05/13/2020. They were confident that all it needed was a new charging port and new charger. $120 and fast turn around. Called 05/13/2020 The same women told me she never told me the parts would be in on Thursday (though I have a VM from her stating those exact worlds) and the parts wouldn’t be in until 05/15/2020 and unfortunately it’s a Saturday so it wouldn’t be worked on until 05/17/2020. I did argue a little bit because I stated to her, from the beginning, the importance of getting my computer quickly. She denied leaving me a voicemail and sharply said, “regardless It won’t be done until Monday and I’ll call you in the morning.” Called 05/17/2020 no answer. No call back. Called 05/18/2020 and she “put me on hold” I heard the entire conversation as she did NOT put me on hold. She clearly communicated with the tech and said, “You fried her computer.” When she got back on the line to speak with me she said that they are hoping the computer is just really dead and they want to charge it overnight and will call back in the morning. I confronted her about what I had heard and she told me laughing, “You misunderstood. I was looking for my universal charger.” She explains to me that fixing the charging port wasn’t the issue and my motherboard is completely fried and it’s “very common” for this to happy. First, don’t compare me to other customers. Second, I know exactly what she and her tech said and she denied it. I was frustrated and very upset so I hung up. My husband called and the women explained the same thing to him. 05/19/2020 no call. (Have you caught on to their level of customer service yet.) My husband calls, twice, and she, same women from the beginning, confirmed that my motherboard was completely fried and it would cost the same as a new computer to fix it.The entire reason I went to this company is because I had already gone to geek squad at Best Buy and they diagnosed the same thing but recommend ST for 3 reasons; 1. Local business 2. Cheaper. 3. Faster turn around time. I am so beyond upset with ST. I don’t appreciate being compared to other “very common” customers as she clearly has no sympathy. Computers aren’t just computers to some, not me anyway. It holds memories and future promises of accomplishments. A simple diagnosis from a corporate and them has turned into a computer that doesn’t work. I am 100% confident they broke my computer! I high don’t recommend this local business and would much rather pay for a corporate business.

This week started off rough - drove away with my phone on top of my car.... found it completely smashed from being run over probably a million times... long story short found Synergy Tech through several recommendations. Stopped in they were able to fix my screen... besides being frustrated about the original problem of breaking my phone I was very grateful to find a local shop to assist my needs. They were warm and understanding of my situation and got me on my way! I definitely recommend calling in or dropping by for any questions or repair needs.

These guys did an awesome job at fixing my familys broken devices! I have two small children and as you could imagine they tend to drop their iPads more often than not, brought both of their busted up iPads to Synergy Tech and they fixed them in a timely manner and they look brand new. Definitely better than spending hundreds of dollars on new ones for my kids who will just continue to drop them.

I was told that it might not completely hold right if repaired but suggested to get a case to hold it together. I agreed and although I had a case at home somewhere I just bought their outterbox since I really appreciated their honestly and expertise.. my phone is still working great months later. thanks again and keep up the great work !!

I have waited to post a review until I purchased a new phone to close the chapter on my experience with this business. In fairness to the business, I dont they acted maliciously or fraudulently and I think they probably lost money on my repair. In 1/20 I called to get the battery replaced in my HTC 10 and I was quoted a price of $100. It took several weeks for the battery to come in because of scarcity which should have been a sign. In the end, we went through three batteries with two being duds and ST not completely testing them before returning the phone to me each time with the bad batteries.The ST employee told me throughout the entire 2 month repair process that the security settings on my phone prevented them from properly testing the phone. After the third battery was installed, it was evident by the time I arrived home that the screen had no connectivity. I brought it back and there was really no explanation for why it was given back to me in that state. On the follow up attempt, only part of the screen was restored making it basically non-functioning. When I pointed out that I brought in a phone that only had a bad battery and was returned a phone that mostly unusable, the ST employee told me that was basically the same. Uh no, I could plug in the phone and still dial out before I brought the phone in. I could not after the phone was returned. The two-month process required many visits and phone calls on my part. Ultimately, they refunded my deposit and said they wouldnt work on the phone any longer. My time has value and I probably should have just stopped after the second bad battery but I didnt even have the HTC for two years. I have since purchased a Samsung Galaxy and will not buy another HTC or bring any electronics to ST for repair. I just dont think their tech was experienced with HTCs they probably should have just not taken the job.

Synergy tech is the one stop shop. I have an iPhone 7 that I dropped while hiking called around synergy was knowledgeful and accommodating and had the best price in town. They fixed my phone under an hour, went and had lunch at the chocolate maven which was divine thanks for the restaurant suggestion and the good work. Recommend. Easily one of the most expensive phone repair shops in Santa Fe, (Ive taken my phone to two other places that did just as good as a job for a lower price,) however this was my only option at the time. Customer service wasnt too kind either, one female worker got annoyed because I called twice about a time frame, I was told itd be ready at different times both times i called.The phone did come out looking like new, so that is a plus.

Had an IPhone 6S screen disease problem. Took them less than an hour to replace the whole screen and digitizer. Cost less than a third of sending it to Apple. Gotta love it!

Omg please let me tell you about this place. I put my MacBook into my backpack and a bottle of shampoo opened and somehow got inside of it. I took it to several MacBook repair shops in town and no one wanted to work on it. Took a trip down to the Apple store in Albuquerque and they quoted my $1,400.00 because they said I needed a new logic board. Heard about this place from a friend and took it over to see if there was anything they could do. They said for an evaluation fee they would take a look. In four days they called me to tell me I would need a new keyboard and screen but the motherboard was ok. I authorized the parts to be replaced and in one week I was able to pick up my computer for less than half of what Apple told me it would cost to fix. I waited one year before reviewing this company because I wanted to see if the repairs were stable and lasted. The work the performed is good and I recommend them.

Dropped my iPhone in the lake this past weekend - completely thought it was gone. Desperate for my photos I sought out repair. Friends and family recommended this company.... thinking I was dead in the water(quite literally) I tried anyways. AT&T wanted $225 to replace phone, but Synergy Tech fixed my cracked lcd screen and glass for half the cost in a half hour. I Highly recommend if you want to save money and time. Thank you guys again I cannot express how frustrating it is to be given the run around all day at AT&T just to find out there are OTHER options out there that are sooooo much BETTER!!! Grateful for the time and energy your staff and technicians gave me.

Misleading name, they dont do repairs they just replace broken parts. They have no actual technical knowledge but only order you new parts and do the minimal necessary work then charging you for doing nearly nothing. Youre better off doing it yourself.

The only competent place in Santa fe to repair a iPad - I had previously had my iPad repaired at a kiosk in the mall and it never worked right after they fixed it but after taking it here they immediately knew that the previous repair had issues and they knew what to do to fix it. My iPad is working the way it should now and the timeframe and price was fair.

DISPICABLE.2/4/19 I came into this establishment solely because of the high star rating. I was happy to give my business. I ABSOLUTELY REGRET IT.2/6/19 @ 226PM: I swiped my card for $108.43 for a special order screen for a Galaxy S9 with a remaining balance due of $238 for a total of $338 for parts, labor and tax. Again, happy to do so, no problem. I was in and out within 4-5mins. With a smile she took my money and said, “The screen will be here Wednesday, we’ll call you when it’s in and within the hour you drop your phone off, it should be ready.” Awesome.2/6/19 I call to see if my screen is in. The same person who took my order, took my call and tells me information that was NEVER given to me. When I asked why this info was not given to me Monday, her answer to me was that I was confused and misunderstood. She claims she told me I was never guaranteed a day, she has been doing this for 7 years so she couldn’t be wrong, they have a time cutoff for orders to come in by a certain day, no overnight deliveries, and that their deliveries come late afternoon so my phone wouldn’t be done the same day anyway. She says sorry, I’m annoyed but I take it. Around 230PM I call to ask how to get a refund. This is where she turns ugly. I ask for my money back due to being given the wrong info and she says nothing can be done. She claims she is a manager and owner and there is no one else I can speak with. We go back and forth, I keep repeating all I want is MY money back while she disrespectfully proceeds to refer to me as “girl”. To add insult to injury, she offers a free tempered glass (A $20 value) for free. I decline because this is not worth it. I say I don’t want to do business with them, and all I want is MY money. She ends the conversation with “Well as two grown woman we can both accept that, have a great day” and hangs up on me.I am aware, that businesses (especially local) have procedures and policies to follow but I asked for MY money back because: 1. The mistake was an employee’s fault. She withheld important information and the information that I was given was inaccurate 2. Synergy Tech took MY money for a service to be completed, a service that was NEVER supplied to me. All they did was tell me to swipe my card to put in an order.If you decide to give this “business” your hard-earned money I HOPE everything goes as planned with no errors from either end. Otherwise, be prepared to be called a liar and incompetent just as I was. If this genuine real review is not good enough to change your mind, please look at the bad experience reviews and look at this “owners” customer care responses. I expect the same.)I had my cracked Iphone screen repaired here. Initially I noticed that the glass was of a lower quality than the original, and the screen was raised above the plane of the edges. I shrugged this off because it’s a temporary fix (almost time for a new phone), but within a day or two my screen was freezing and didnt work on the edges. Then the top corner of the screen cracked, while sitting on a table! Looking at the hairline crack it appeared that the case had put pressure on the edge of the screen (Which was out of alignment) and it had buckled. I immediately called synergy tech, as I was out of town, and they told me to bring it in and they would fix it.When I brought my phone in the lady took one look, and told me it would cost $80 to fix. She then accused me of trying to scam them and said the screen had an “impact” which voided the warranty. I tried to explain how the screen was raised and the case put pressure on it, but she shouted over me and again accused me of lying. I left as she continued to shout and call me a liar.

My phone was run over several times am the delt was black and glass was falling out and the back was shattered to pieces. It was very important to me to get it fixed because there are priceless pictures that were not backed up and mean the world to me. Synergy tech fixed my phone and I am forever grateful.

While traveling crossccountry my cell phone needed a new recharge circuit which I had ordered in advance. While in the middle of a DIY repair and encountered a set of screws which wouldnt release. Dropped by and they fixed the problem immediately and charged me a very low price and sent me on my way. They were wonderful!

Ive had my Samsung note 5 for a little over two years now and the battery starting acting inconsistent turning off at random times even though it had plenty of charge. Took it over to Synergy Tech they verified the battery needed replaced, had it replaced same day. Very pleased with the service they provide! Phone is back to 100% and i couldnt be more thankful.

Had my Nexus 4 fixed here. They did a wonderful job replacing both the back and front glass. They were also quite friendly while I was waiting for the work to be done. Good experience all around.

I had the battery and LED screen on my phone repaired here. There were immediate battery issues as the phone would turn off and turn on again and the seal at the top of the case began to slowly protrude. I brought the phone in and they resealed the case. The phone was fine for two months although the seal slowly pealed and the LED screen again began to be pushed outward from the casing. Eventually, the phone began to turn on and off again and then died completely. When I returned to the shop and told them I didnt believe they had previously fixed the screen they immediately told me I needed to go somewhere else without even attempting to service my phone. The last part is what really concerns me and the reason for the one star rating.

Waste of time I called and gave model number so they could order a new screen and payed a deposit, few days later I brought it in and they said it maybe the wrong screen if so it will cost a lot more then quoted. Okay I really needed it fixed. 3 weeks later I had called several times to find out what was going on and heard i will call you back with on one ever calling back. The last time I got mad and asked to talk to a manager and was told they couldnt even fix my laptop. A month later still waiting for a call from the owner who was out of town to call me back. Totally unprofessional and big waste of time.

I thought the service was fine, the ladies at the front are great. My screen was shattered on my ipad and they replaced it the same day. I did not have any issues.

Replaced home button on iPhone 6 but forgot to tell that you will run in problems when you restore phone (error 53). Now phone is unusable after the repair. Not happy.I was alerted to the comment when I visited Synergy Tech recently (somehow Google didnt send me an alert). Yes, Im glad that the phone started working again, and overall the repair was fine.However, had I known that updating it through iTunes would brick it, I wouldnt have gone that route. That piece of information was not clear.

Brought in Samsung Galaxy 4 with a broken display. They ordered part and it was fixed by the next day. Worked great for 3 weeks and the display suddenly went black one morning. I brought it back into Synergy and they replaced the display again free of charge. First rate sevice.

Ughhhhh this is my first bad review. Do not do your business here. My screen popped off BOTH times fixing here... one time it popped off and when I pushed it back in the screen cracked and they refused to even discount the next repair... I spent $300 ... dumb.

Synergy tech repaired my Iphone 6 that had a broken display for me and did a fantastic job. They also repaired my sons iphone 5s that was water damaged. The staff was great. Fast, efficient and affordable service!! Thank you Synergy Tech!!

Absolutely wonderful customer service. Have a droid razor that has trouble charging and although they did not have the charging part I needed they offered the Qi charger instead which was a less expensive and more convenient option.
