I can’t recommend this company enough. They were able to fix our camper side view mirror in less than 24 hours and at an excellent price, while everyone else in town said it would take weeks. Everyone was super friendly and they even stayed open a few minutes late so we could pick it up. Thank you so much, Glassman!

Awful! our glass french door shattered and the glassman was recommended to us. i called, they came out and measured the door and provided us with an estimate. we paid 50% and they placed the order. They said it would be 7-15 business days, didnt hear a peep from them. we called them to find out the status and finally about a month later they were able to schedule us for installation. they come out and it was the wrong size. the installation guys told me they would reorder. but again, no one called me. i called them 2 days later to find out what the deal was. she said she had placed the order and they would get confirmation later that day (a monday) or by wednesday at the latest. i told them i expected them to call me with information by wednesday at the latest. it is now the following tuesday and after calling them again, they told us they lost our order! we canceled our order and are going elsewhere - totally frustrating! awful communication!

The men who repaired my window did an excellent job. I was very satisfied with their work. Also, they arrived on time. A+ all around.

Staff and owner are all very nice and friendly, however the quality of work is subpar and drawn out. They have been to our house three times now (initial consultation and two times to do the job) and have not completed the work to be done either time because: they were not informed of what needed to be done by management/owner and ran out of time, or glass was ordered in the wrong size and we had to wait weeks for it to come in, or they forgot to place an order (so now we have to wait again). Also, they damaged all the wood framing they touched, some of it even being tacked back on despite being broken in half. We are disappointed in the quality of work and needing to track the company back down for scheduling them to come back. Would recommend looking elsewhere. Photos posted of the damaged wood.

Saved the Day!We showed up in a panic because of a shattered Airstream window and Arcy had us up and running within an hour! He was so helpful and responsive to our situation. We cannot thank him and The Glassman business enough! Please patronize this local business. They are the best!

We contacted four glass shops in Santa Fe to install a new glass shower surround. Of the four, The Glassman was by far the best from initial contact through cost estimate. We were impressed by Arcy and Michaels responsiveness, knowledge, careful management of our expectations and a competitive bid. Based on these factors we gave them our business. The subsequent installation went equally as well with skillful precision and attention to detail. We are pleased to recommend them.

Had an excellent experience replacing glass shower surround. None of the walls were square but the guys were able to measure appropriately so that New frameless surround was able to be installed easily. They arrived on time and met commitments. I am a happy woman.

Someone working at Home Depot told me about Glassman in Santa Fe, so I looked them up and found their website, called and had a brief conversation with Michael from Glassman. After explaining a very bad situation with an unexpected LARGE broken window, Michael assured me they could take care of it. Even though the window in question was over 2 hours away drive time in northern NM. Michael and RC showed up and took care of it no problem. They were quick, professional, informative, pleasant, easy going, and very helpful. Unlike some of other window stores i had spoken to...Glassman was NOT rude or lousy. They were respectful and most of all kept their word. They didnt leave me guessing, wondering, they called back, they answered the phone, and they showed up!!! Glassman did EXCELLENT work!!! THANK YOU guys!!! :)))

Glassman arrived the very day that I called for help. The workman, Will, boarded up my broken living room window and immediately ordered the replacement glass. The next day Will and his assistant arrived and replaced the glass. They worked meticulously with great care... and the window is perfect!!! Thank you, thank you... is all I can say. These fellas saved the day!!

After checking prices at your big-box stores, Albuquerque-based glass shops, and a couple Santa Fe glass shops we called Glassman. Arcy and Michael accommodated my schedule by meeting me at my house during the lunch hour to assess the project. Within 24hours of their site visit, they presented multiple bids for different options/styles I requested. Glassman contacted me a few hours after I placed the order and suggested a 4 inch larger piece so that a slider or glass door could be easily added. I thought...here it comes, the classic thatll only be another $$$ to make that happen... Instead, the Glassman bid and final bill remained unchanged. Within 24-hours of the glass arriving, it was installed. The installers even showed up on time! I highly recommend the Glassman, and will certainly use them for my future projects.

Lack of integrity in Arcy Durans & his staffs communication & business practices. We were looking to get a durable sliding screen door made that would fit into our existing patio door frame & latch properly. On May 28th, we phoned & spoke with Michael who said they could give an estimate over the phone with our rough measurements (verified later as accurate). We provided those in the call, & after Michael said he consulted with Arcy, Michael quoted $85 for the door with fiberglass screening & $110 for the door with pet screen. We said we would go with pet screen & that the latch would be a key focus for the screen to work with our frame. Michael said we could pay $85 for them to come to our residence located outside of Santa Fe or we could take photos & full measurements & send the information via email. We sent the email on June 1st with ownership of the delay & added that one of us would drop by the shop on June 2nd in the afternoon to take a look at the door materials the shop would use prior to going ahead with an order & build. On June 2nd, we dropped by & were shown the materials, but no one had opened the email or taken a look for it yet. Owing to constraints, no one could do so then. Michael agreed to get with Arcy to get the email information; & we agreed to talk the next day. No chat happened the next day, & with ownership from us for the days delay, we phoned the shop on June 4th to discuss details & get the order in place. Instead, Michael again said that no one got to the email, & Michael agreed to our request to call us after they read the email. The next call was a voice mail late on June 5th from Michael with a request for us to call first thing Monday to schedule one of their workers, who was doing a job at 10:30 am in our area, to come by our residence that day for measurements. Although were not clear what did not work about the stats given or even if they looked at what we emailed, we thought seeing the frame in person could matter in a door that fully worked, & we called first thing the 8th. In the call with Michael Romero, he said they could get to our residence prior to their 10:30 service & scheduled for 9:30A. One of us missed work for an extra 3 hours waiting for the shop worker owing to 2 more phone calls from the shop after 9:30A with revision to 10:20A and then to prior to 1P. The worker showed up at 12:45P. The worker took measurements & confirmed the door they would make would fully work; & Michael left us with a promise to send full estimate via email. By June 12th no estimate arrived. We called the shop on the 12th in the afternoon & specifically asked to speak with Arcy thinking that he as the owner would step up & get things clear & on track since two weeks were now passed. Arcy said that Michael was out sick & had been calling a number that we did not provide for contact. Without giving them another phone number to contact, they apparently took the phone number off the caller ID from scheduling on the 8th; Mr. Duran said they had been calling & leaving messages at that number. On the promise to send estimate via email, he said hed do so promptly & he did. The formal estimate both confirmed the measurements we initially provided were correct for the 1st estimate by phone on May 28th & also surprised us as the amount went from $110 for the door with pet screen to $180. A service fee also showed up at 1.5 times the verbal estimate (with that part being optional if we wanted to pick up the screen from the shop instead of them making delivery & installation). We phoned Mr. Duran back to inquire why the change in cost. Mr. Duran said it was for the pet screen with the base price now at $110; he did not recall any call on the 28th; he cannot be accountable for verbal estimates; & he would reluctantly honor the $110. When we mentioned that all the breakdowns in over two weeks & the impact of cost increase & losing 3 hrs of work affected confidence in his shop, he defended that they had done nothing improper. We suggested a commitment to these issues not happening again; & he hung up.
