I went to MAC today to look for some concealer and the wonderful and sweet Daniel helped me out. His pink eyeshadow was so on point! He was so sweet and helpful and I learned so much more about makeup that I ever have when purchasing a product, and he wasnt pushy when I was hesitant on his other recommendations, just helpful and providing information. I have been a number Mac stores, including 4 locations near me in Westwood, Beverly Hills, Hollywood, and Culver City. This was the best location Ive visited thus far. The staff was super friendly (All of them!), and beyond helpful (not pushy!).We were greeted at the front door and definitely felt like the energy was great. No one was pushy but we did feel attended to. All of the employees were busy and helping everyone in the store. No one was standing around chit-chatting, which can create a feeling of not wanting to interrupt employees when you want to ask for help.Eden and David were beyond kind and helpful. When one went to the back to get products I asked for, the other stayed available during my step daughter and Is search for other products that might work for her. Eden made great recommendations and was on point in understanding what we were looking for. David was kind enough to help my step daughter with a few products, that she wanted to sample, and made her feel super comfortable. This was really awesome, because it was a day of bonding and teaching with my step daughter. Buying good makeup, in an affordable/organized way (refill pans instead of whole pots, etc), how to purchase/sample products, as well as ask for help, was what we were focused on. I couldnt have asked for a better team or store to achieve my goal of helping a 14 year old feel more comfortable and confident. This was so important, to get right, and was the best experience out of the entire day of makeup shopping, I had to share! This will be the only location Ill be going to from now on! Thank you!!!

I have been in the customer service business for over 20 years and I must say that I was so impressed with the customer service I was provided with at this location. Everyone was very informative and helpful. I did not feel rushed or pressured into buying anything. However, I did leave with a bag full of goodies. Thank you Mac Santa Monica!

Staff less than helpful with their lack of product knowledge and sketchy attitude towards us.

Walked in was greeted very nicely by a young woman, asked did I need help. She then helped me get everything i needed efficiently not rushed. The vibe was good . She wasnt judgemental or anything just really wanted to help. Very polite explained differences between products, id recommend this outlet if you are new to the make up world an want help without judgemental ppl, Go here! . I will be a returning custumer

The people there wear weird amounts of makeup, even the guys. Scared the crap out of me! The guy looked like some sort of weird scary drag clown. Was NOT expecting that when I walked in. I jumped back out of fright! Thankfully a normal looking girl helped me!
