I have been a Sephora store customer for many years, especially the Santa Monica ( 3rd street )store, but today I had an excellent service from the salesperson Carly, he was able to understand my questions, doubts and showed me a variety of products. Today my visit was special because of him. I ended up buying more products than I imagined, a situation that is not difficult to happen when you are in a Sephora store.

Love the store, but opening at 11am on a Saturday?? Come on guys, that’s late as hell and the last store to open on the whole promenade!

Fully stocked, fast service and great makeup ideas.

Went in to return a purchase… the gall at the door was very nice and the lady at checkout was also very helpful however I was not acknowledged by anyone working the floor

This is the most terrible location to shop at Sephora ! If you need help to find anything just don’t go to this one, The staff will greet you but once you ask their help for something, they say they will check in the back but never get back to you. And you’ll find them doing something else or chatting with another staff. Yes not all of them are like this but most of them that helped me out was never getting back to me.Sephora Santa Monica please teach your staff to respect customers.

Most knowledgable staff Ive EVERY encountered at any Sephora.I was mostly helped by Cary, and another man at the register who didnt give me his name but both employees were BEYOND helpful with the questions/concerns I had about certain products!

Has a wide selection, which is expected of a store in downtown. And the associates were accommodating...when you could get ahold of one. They seem preoccupied, need to hire a few more associates for the floor.

Very efficient during Covid times. Limited number of shoppers. Samples allowed only by staffer. Well organized.

A great variety of perfumes, and colognes. The young lady at the front entrance was very helpful, and had someone assist me as soon as one of her associates were available. Thank you. 😉

Great service with a smile. The women that helped me where super sweet and told me that I was eligible for birthday reward even though I didnt even know I was they help me purchase just off of what I had told them was amazing though it was very busy I think its just because its in the middle of a very crowded area despite the fine for those people lined up to get service the lady Central that calmly and respectfully.

Stopped into Sephora with my girlfriend because wanted to get some hair products. We really like this location because of it being in Downtown Santa Monica. Its a great location and easy to get in and out of the store.

Was in town for a wedding & came in to get my make up done. Tommy made me look so amazing while also not having a super dramatic look. I wish I didnt live so far away so he could do my hair for every event!

The sales associate, Star, was super helpful and was able to find me the perfect cologne. She was super nice, caring, and patient with me. I highly recommend going to her for any need that you may have.

This Sephora rocks! Everyone is so helpful here. Thank you for letting me try out some samples before I buy. I have sensitive dry skin so its really nice to be able to try some stuff before I invest. You guys are the best thank you

Easy parking...huge selection. We got there at 9 but the associate named Danika was so helpful. She is the best!!

Attendants were very helpful. The store was well-stocked (with what I wanted at least). Decent experience overall.

It was my first time there, but I completely hated it. The girls working there looked and acted completely uninterested, and even rude. The moment the girls working there heard that my sister and I spoke Spanish, their attitude went from bad to even worse... This not only makes that store seem racist but leaves me a terrible impression of Sephora itself. If Im spending money at whatever store, I always appreciate to 1. Be noticed and 2. Being helped. I had to ask 3 different people to get me a product that was out of stock on the shelf, and when they finally helped me I was told that it was completely out... I understand that a product being out of stock isnt their fault... But I could have known that 20 minutes ago when I asked the first person... Terrible experience.

We were walking around in Sephora and we were trying to find somethings, after a while we finally found someone and Victoria S. was SO nice and kind. Victoria gets and understands what you are saying really quick. We wanted to thank the store for having Victoria S. Victoria is so helpful and she has a great costumer service and showcases the items so well. Victoria is great. Definently recommend her.

Best Sephora I‘ve ever been in so far (out of at least 20 stores in the world)! Great range of products and brands.Cary was the most sweetest and helped a lot. He really was the best Sephora sales assistant I have ever met. I spent at least 4h in the shop and he never was bored or annoyed by me and my friend. Thanks Cary for being such a nice person!xx

This location is bu the beach. They are well stocked. I bought too much makeup!

The most wonderful beauty specialist I have ever seen at Sephora. They address my request on a sunday that I had to go to wedding and I was out of town visiting- short with many things - thank you staff.

This place is so cool. My wife always find everything she wants. I only dislike it because that you have to wait long time before you pay for your stuff.

I love Sephora. The fact that you can try things makes a huge difference. I also love that you can take home samples of almost any product. This particular sephora gets pretty packed.

The product is often closed, so it is often necessary to place an order. There are lots of attractions around and the location is very good

My favorite Sephora, and Ive been to everyone from Long Beach to the Valley! Although Hollywood & Highlands pretty good, too. The selection is immense, plenty of staff to answer any questions you may have.

Lovely shop and great staff. Booked a makeover session for my 13 year olds birthday and Conor (the make up artist) went out of his way to make it a special experience. My daughter is crazy about makeup and the store and staff didnt fail to impress.Top class.

This is one of my favorite shops to go in test makeup and perfumes request tester perfumes before I buy to see if I have an allergic reaction or not the pricing on everything is good you can even go get your makeup done they are awesome

I looove the Sephora in Santa Monica. Its like a kid walking into a candy store for a girl that loves glitz and glam. Just walking by Sephora smells like glamour! Like every Sephora, prices are a bit high but they often have specials and the quality is great with the right brands. I love that you are able to sample so many products. Very sanitary with makeup remover application and removers.

I have been shopping at Sephora for years and have visited the Santa Monica location quite a few times. However, the last time i went I had the pleasure of being assisted by Cary. He is one of the most helpful and accommodating employees I have ever encountered. If you need help look for him. He is the man!

This store gets a 0 star from me. I had the worst treatment with customer service today from a woman so terrifying, condescending and toletarian who insisted I purchase something which I was not satisfied with because “she knows what’s best for me.” And when I asked her to see something else she said “I can get someone else to help you if you want but I’m not going to try a different one on you because I know this is the one for you.” I’m so afraid and shocked by this lady that I need to write this review under an alias because I shop frequent at this Sephora. HOWEVER I WONT BE ANYMORE. Super disappointed that Sephora management would hire someone like this to work with customers. I left that store empty handed, emotionally drained from making sure this lady didn’t chew me out and unhappy. Do better Sephora.

We got our make up done here on Friday as part of a big group of ladies getting ready for the Emmys. We were impressed with how Sephora handled this large group, the individualized care we all got and how amazing we all looked. My sisters make up artist went above and beyond and even did her hair (which is not what they do) She just wanted to make sure she looked perfect and she did! Thank you so much Sephora!! we will be back here next year!

I love their lip stains there. They are very affordable and they last almost all day.

My girl loved this place!

Big fan of the store. Today I came in with my aunt who has an autistic child and he usually screams when he is excited. A white blonde lady (didn’t catch her name) walks up to us and tells us to quiet down the child, in a rude manner. I didn’t continue the conversation only because my aunt came here new to America to get treatment for her child and this would only embarrass her. So I took the child outside where his father was. Very disappointed. Educate your staff. I’m taking this to coorperate, I have friends who can get their attention. Shame on you.

I usually go to Bakersfields sephora, but today I went here because I wanted to spoil myself and ask questions. Not even from walking in was not even greeted from any employee, didnt bother to ask if I needed help, or if I had any questions, or if I was looking for something in particular. Each, I mean everyone employee looked at me unsatisfied. My local Sephora greets me as family, but here everyone is so rude. So thats why Im giving them a ONE star.
