First off the employees are amazing. The coffee is a little premium in price but tastes great. The foodie selections are nice too. Avo toast and grilled cheese etc. The location is great with an atmosphere of nice people and indoor/outdoor seating. With that said, there is a fly thing arising. I love this place but I have switched to another local coffee shop. The establishment, employees, location, coffee are great.
Had the cortado and the campfire cold brew. Wish I could give separate reviews for different drinks.Campfire cold brew is three stars. This seems like Acres version of Starbucks smores frappucino. A bit sweet, so much to the point you can barely taste the cold brew. Would not order again.Five stars for the cortado. Super smooth and no acidity. Just the right temperature. One of the best cortados Ive had.Atmosphere is very good. Reminds me of Verve in Santa Cruz. Will definitely come back for the cortado!
Great coffee and food. Been coming here for a long time. Always enjoy the drinks.Just one thing though lately. It could be the time of year, but there are tons of flys inside. Very distracting while trying get work done.
Stopped by on our way home from the Flamingo resort and I wished I had looked for it sooner. Had the Iced Chai Latte with oat milk. Was super tasty and also ordered the plain croissant which I inhaled. Would definitely go back if I’m up in the area.
Always excellent smooth latte and tasty smoked salmon with avacado. Friendly service, indoor and outdoor dining. My favorite when Im in the area.
Multiple wrong orders over the months with drink type, decaf, gluten free. No accountability for mistakes. Have never offered to do anything about it. Really concerning for people with allergies.
Great coffee and food! The shop is clean they have outdoor seating. They can get busy and the wait can be very long. Im not sure if they could be more organized and get the orders out faster but Ill give them the benefit of the doubt and chalk it up to a high volume of orders. The secret is to order online before your arrive and itll ready when you get there. Just walk up, grab it, and go!
Fabulous latte, quick service and friendly staff. If you are in the area, I highly recommend you check this place out!
I had grounds in my cup of brewed coffee!Cmon Rob! Whos running the show?
Great coffee, super fast service
Taz and the rest of the staff are so warm (and actually care to get your name spelled and pronounced correctly!). Coffee is some of the best I’ve had. Better than sightglass and many of the other popular spots.
Awesome 4th wave coffee spot in Santa Rosa. Excellent coffee, extensive food menu (all of which is delicious), beautiful indoor and outdoor space. On the more expensive side, but well worth it! Full coffee menu, pour overs, hot and cold espresso drinks, nitro cold brew. Tons of sweet and savory food options, the avocado and smoked salmon toasts both were delicious ($7 and $9 respectively). Fast WiFi. Highly recommend!
The coffee is good, but, the cup sizes are lame... I looooove my coffee, and 12oz(14oz?) cups do NOT cut it for me! The staff is so nice, and the inside is clean, and very welcoming.
OMG -- Absolutely the BEST avocado toast EVER! 😋❤
Coffee is high quality, very fresh and not burnt! I used to go here often when I lived down the street. One of the better places to get coffee is you care about taste and want something that is not generic. They are often very crowded and the wait can be long though. Customer service is not consistent.
Awesome coffee with amazing flavor, lots of seating.
Awesome lates! Love this place and people that works there. We did coffee after ruining at spring lake
I came here for breakfast, I placed order online before 8:30am and I had to wait 15mins for my order when it said it was ready at 8:20am. Im very disappointed in their service.
Just a standard noncorporate coffee joint with good croissants and a latte. I liked the smoothly put Christmas decorations. What brought it to 3 stars was a loud creepy bull____er in front of me in line then next to me when I was placing my order.
I was in need of a iced coffee stopped at Acre’s and they were closed. The awesome barista came to the door and let me know they closed and asked was I was looking for.I mentioned an iced coffee and he brought back a cold brew.GREAT SERVICE and made a rough day better with coffee.
Cant get any of the same good stuff I had before because of covid. No waffles. Disappointed but I understand.2 years ago:Only gone here twice and loved it both times! First, yesterday, tried the chai with oatmilk as recommended by the cashier. Perfect amount of spice and sweet, and you couldnt even tell it was nondairy with the oatmilk. Today, I sprung for the bacon brioche waffles ($8) with the softboiled eggs (+$2) and an 8oz whole milk latte ($3.75). Also excellent! I found the latte had just the right amount of roastiness from the standard 2 espresso shots and creaminess from the whole milk. The floral latte art with a Rosetta and a little heart was cute and a real cherry on top, as they say. 😊 I definitely plan on visiting here when possible! Just be wary it can get a little pricey, but the $15 and change I paid for the meal pictured below is to be expected for something of this quality!
Occasionally Ill stop here for a cup of coffee out of convenience more than anything, rarely will I get more than that. Today I stopped at the Montgomery village location and since there wasnt a big line decided to order a mocha and breakfast sandwich. 15+ minutes passes and 3 orders behind me, one of which was a family of 3, receives their orders of both food and drinks. Frustrated enough to not even care to say anything, I just left and let them have my money and keep my order. Ive tried multiple times to enjoy them because usually its good coffee and food, but the service is so unbelievably slow and unorganized its just not worth giving them any more chances. I dont want anything from them, I dont want a were sorry heres a freebie give us another shot, I want the owner or managers etc to read these reviews and DO SOMETHING about their consistently slow service. They should have done something about that prior to opening a pizza place in their restaurants. Saw the sign go up in Petaluma and laughed about it. A Stouffers french bread pizza probably cooks faster than their kitchen does!
Good coffee, good service nice vibe. Pastry is quality and not cheap. I have been here many times and everything is consistently first rate.
Wonderful coffee beans and drinks. Nice modern cafe atmosphere. Worth it!
Delicious items. Ask for coffee to be extra hot! My friend from Germany introduced me to this coffee shop. She was spot on. ☕️
Great coffee and food, but very full. It can be tough to find a table among the nice customers having impromptu meetings or catching up. It can be a little louder than most coffee shops if youre looking for a place to work. Yes, there is free WiFi.
Cool, hip coffee shop. Pastries awesome. My only negative is that parking is tight, challenging, especially when they are busy. I go to a place like this to chill, but getting in and out and the packed tables stressed me a bit.
Acre Coffee is a really nice Coffee Shop where you can get together with a friend or friends. Since I stopped drinking caffeine about 2 years ago, I have their Hibiscus, Caffeine-Free Tea, which is very good! Ive also seen my friends order coffee and/or lattes from there, and they look very good. And Acre Coffee personnel put the cream on top of the coffees in a nice, fancy design. They make all of their coffees and teas fresh, right there in the Coffee Shop.
Great place, always vibing, always packed. Having worked at a coffee shop for years, I can tell you this place has their systems down and the quality of their food and service never suffers for it. Definitely recommend.
Great alternative to Starbucks. Good coffee, pastries and sandwiches too. All fresh-made. None of that previously frozen stuff you get at Starbucks.
Fantastic espresso
It’s very noisy and busy. They took a long time to get to making my drink... only to realize they didn’t have what they needed for my drink. I ended up with a free drink, but the entire experience took 25 minutes.... which most people just don’t have for a hot drink.
I give this spot a thumbs up. Staff treated us so nice. Prices that are reasonable. Food is similar to a cafe in Portland I liked.
Good spot to meet up, relax with friends while enjoying a strong house coffee, or attend to business with your partners in the casual air Acre Coffee offers whether its inside or outdoors! Delectable sweets and tasty sandwiches are also available.Seating can go quickly, so plan accordingly!
Tried the nitro cold brew from the new location on 4th (Thanks Tyler. What a nice guy.) It was bracing but smooth and delivers the caffeine. Clean bright space.
Very savory. Looking forward to returning with my coworkers. This place has an awesome feel to it.
A good place for meeting with a friend to have coffee and a bite to eat. Conveniently located. The coffee is good.
Zero stars for any business that’s cashless, it’s discriminatory and downright unpatriotic. Otherwise it’s a great family owned business.
Good food and great selection of teas and coffees. Do not come here if you are looking for a quiet place to relax. However, a great place to people watch and feel the vibrancy of city life.
Really like the parfait and the avocado toast here. They have a good selection of warm teas both caffeinated and decaf for those cold days.
Great Coffee. If you are particular about your coffee and not so interested in all of the syrups and flavors and frappes, then you will love Acre. The coffee is not over roasted, each cup is prepared individually, the milk is not over heated, and the setting is remarkably comfortable. It is a relief to finally have a good coffee shop on the east side of the freeway--Flying Goat being my other go-to coffee house.
Baristas were super helpful and friendly. The coffee was very good and the avocado toast was yummy! Too bad they were out of soft-boiled egg.
One of the better cappuccino drinks I have had in a long time.
I know a lot of people love acre but their drip coffee is always so bitter. Im not a fan of their coffee. Their espresso drinks are pretty good, but overpriced.
Very cute coffee shop, with amazing cold brew and breakfast sandwiches! Gluten-free options and lots of places to sit - inside and outside.
Excellent espresso. Priced right, a little too much attitude from the youngsters behind the counter after asking about their Paleo coffee....🙄
It was a great spot great Coffee
Overall compared to Starbucks you pay way more and get way less but the coffee is good
Coffee is comparable to Flying Goat, but they also have amazing cold brew, pastries, and sandwiches.
Acre coffee was a great place to study and was open on Black Friday! Great seating areas and really open, naturally-lighted area. A lot of outlets, and a wide-variety of resale and non-coffee items!
Great coffee, hip place (not in a bad way). Friendly service and good selection of foods. Go to place when I can.
Modern, roomy, updated coffee place in the heart of Santa Rosa. Saw lots of kids enjoying hot chocolate and breakfast. The coffee is fine and the ice water is free.
While the Coffee was Very Good, the Noise Level was Horrible. I also ordered one of their Specialty Coffees and it didnt even fill half the glass. On that Level I was disappointed.
Great place awesome environment... some of the best cold brew I have ever had... and for being a smaller coffee shop, the price are great
Had coffee here a while back when visiting family. Beautiful, clean space. Nice staff. Really delicious coffee.
Great coffee and good tea selection. I love their oatmeal and tuna melt too. Very friendly staff. This place is always busy.
Food and drinks are fresh and natural, and prices are among the highest. Space is very loud, plain, and the opposite of cozy. Staff member seemed annoyed when I asked her to slow the speed of a fan that was blasting cold and unheated air upon my head. This place is best, when the weather is nice, and you can sit outside.
Good coffee no place to sit do to all the seats were takin up by laptop users with a glass of water in front of them, for the price not worth it.
It would be even better if there was good bicycle parking and/or electric car charging.
A friend that lives in Santa Rosa recommended this place. The avacado toast Id the best Ive had.
This place is just so great. Their chai tea is delicious!
Consistentantly made one of the best Americanos Ive had. Highly recommended.
Do not order online!!!! I literally watched about ten customers come and go before they even began making my 2 iced coffees. Literally do not respect people ordering online and trying to make their job easier.
Turmeric latte is too cold!!! Make sure your drinks are warmer. Thanks. It cost $5!!
Good coffee but if you order food it takes way too long...
Tasty (though not hot) mocha with lots of whipped cream, flakey delicious pastries. I consider this more of an easy lunch spot with great coffee options. Open on new year - thank you!
Updated review. This is still a fine coffee shop and still one of my favorites! I do enjoy the downtown location as well, this is my favorite.2nd Best coffee cafe in Santa RosaExcellent coffee, food and other beveragesGreat atmosphere, good locationJust need to stay open later ;-)
Very welcoming. Nice environment. Came in the morning. Good place to relax before going to work.
Overpriced food and drinks. Waited 20 minutes for toast and coffee at $ 9.50 today. Girls were late opening up...Ive been coming here since it opened and while it seems to be getting more popular it may be sacrificing quality service and goods and ambiance.
Bold, nutty espresso, great service, variety of food options and beverages other than coffee. Spacious, central and all-around a good experience.
I really enjoyed having a cup of Chai tea with my friend and her dog sitting outside at this location. Their service was fast and staff was friendly.
Good coffee, but definitely not up to the standard of places like Old Soul and Temple. Im still waiting for a killer Santa Rosa coffee shop.
Great coffee house. Particularly good croissant, yoghurt with fruit and will salmon on grain bread with cream cheese, capers and pickled onions
Friendly workers, really good food and drinks.
Great tuna melt, excellent coffee and drinks. The homemade ginger soda was delicious.
Warm atmosphere and great coffee. Customer service is not lacking at all and staff are very friendly.
Spoiled by Peets? Maybe. We like our coffee hot - its a thing. Acre doesnt provide hot. Add our names to long list of reviewers who say it is Pricey.
Great coffee, good food and friendly people.
Great place to hang out! Tasty coffee, in my opinion anyway...
Seemed like a nice coffee shop. Funny names of teas.
Hand crafted espresso with fast and friendly service. Made even more remarkable given how popular a meeting place this has become.
This place has great coffee and food: both savory and sweet.
Good coffee, beautiful atmosphere, attractive food menu
Cozy but hip aesthetic, good cold brew and cortados, food selection is just OK
