Do not be in a hurry at this Safeway and expect to pay more! But the staff is nice. Just a slower pace in Guerneville!

The employees deserve better from the community honestly. The managers here are actually pretty nice and all of the food made in store is always a go to for me. I love Safeway.

We have been shopping here for years! The employees seem to all have a good attitude. We especially love all the ladies in the deli.

John the Bakery manager was absolutely unnecessary rude. I called to order 24 individually packed cupcakes. Because of Covid they have to be individually packed for school. First the ladies from the bakery answer and said I had to give a 24hr notice and then they changed there mind, they would make them. But only white and brown frosting because rainbow color frosting was to hard for same day order. ( Note I was calling from the Marlow store they would make the cupcakes order, but they where out of packaging so the lady there suggested I could try another’s Safeway) I asked the lady if they shared inventory with the Marlow store. Because they would make them rainbow frosting I thought I could pick up the packaging and take it to the other store if they did. That’s when they passed me to John the Baker manager. He asked in a loud voice what the problem was, If you want the cupcakes individually backed you will be charged for individual cupcakes he said. I answered that it was fine, that was not a problem. I said but it’s to hard for your baker to make them rainbow frosting but the Safeway at Marlow will make them rainbow. Can I pick the packaging at your store and take the to the other store I will pay for the packaging. He was rude and raised his voice at me saying, no we don’t do that. I was simple asking a question he could have simply said no without being so loud. Who does he think he is yelling at people. What kind of customer service is that. Definitely almost ruined my day but ended up ordering at the Marlow bakery the lady was right there when I was on the phone with him she was so nice and apologized. I could not believe this is how they treat to paying customers.

Wow, large store. My only disappointment was I googled EverGood old fashioned beef frankfurters. They carry the entire line of EverGood sausages. Other than that a very nice store friendly and helpful employees. This was my third Safeway, same story at all three.

This is one of two Safeway stores I go to. Great produce section, good bread selection but have to admit that I was shocked at the $9+/lb for hamburger!

Every Safeway store I visit has been out of our favorite Lucerne Caramel Macchiato and Irish Cream coffee creamer for a long time. Its very disappointing. I may find a new brand at Lucky.

Were no carts available, used carry basket. But had to get watermelon and gallon of milk. Made it up to checkstand, told cashier was gonna get a cart, but she went and got it for me. Great SERVICE

My favorite store,Amer is my favorite checker. Switched my pharmacy needs and they are the best. Very helpful if a problem occurs. Also the Meat department is very helpful and hardly ever a wait! Friendly staff Especially Heather.

I really enjoy this Safeway mostly because Im a night owl and they are open till 23:00 hrs.There is hardly anybody there, and the employees have already started filling the shelves so the best stuff is there waiting for you.Check out is fast and the self checkout is usually open that late to.

Typical Safeway with most stuff you would expect. Only thing is it seems the staff are limited and overworked. There’s a Starbucks and US Bank inside. Make sure to use your Safeway Club rewards card for discounts.

The pickle are so killer. Yum.😋 Food and beer rock too! Go for trivia night. Total blast. The guy is good.

After 5:00 or 6:00 theres only two lanes opened check out otherwise you have to self check out. I find this theory bad situation for people who want and need jobs and I never am successful checking out by myself.

Went in for a sandwich ended up with a fruit bowl and something to drink the sandwich was amazing

Safeway is a great store to shop at they have all kinds of fresh food. And there are always sales.

This is a 2nd time a system charged me a wrong price for Egg Lands Best. They put a a promotion sign for $2.99 but they charged me for a normal price at $5.99. Every times when I shopped at this Safeway, I had to check my receipt to make sure about their prices.

They help me to my car put a heavy box! Inside cuz i could not do it? I just had a knee replacement! Now going back to get a heavy table to put my big screen tv 65 inches on top of it!!!

And even have to go line up at the alcohol area, since thats where the only other checker is, cause he has to be.. at the alcohol. SMH.. just rediculous. How many people work there at Safeway? ..And cant even help the actual customers there, just waiting, trying to buy their items.Come On, STEP IT UP!

Been here twice now on our way East. Plenty of parking and wonderfully stocked. The intersection is a little messy on the way in, the gas station is slow and confusing.

This is one of my favorite Safeway stores in the area. Good size store, nice selection, and clean everytime I am there. The one missing star is because the people at this safeway are not always as happy, upbeat and friendly as other Safeways in the area. Never had a horrible experience with staff but compared to other stores there is room for improvement.

Love the customer service at Safeway. They are always willing to help and very courteous.

I use the app so I can get huge discounts and bonus points. I saved $40 after spending $100. This people around me were amazed. However the bonus points I earned would not let me purchase witch hazel and mouth wash. So it works only if you purchase what Safeway allows you to buy. From Flo.

Unlike other local Safeways, to get alcoholic beverages and toiletries one has to go into a separate area and check out. I understand this is to prevent shoplifting but there seems to be other ways they could do this

People still ignoring directional signs going down aisles the wrong way. Safeway maintains good protocols. Still so pricey however

Not very crowded in the morning and as always they have a very friendly staff that usually makes you feel completely welcome when you walk in the door no matter who you are, this safeway in the the town of Windsor is so friendly they would help you with anything you need from helping you with things that you may need provided for you, whether its a ride home, money to help or even the shirt off your back or anything that you basically could need. just like 100 percent of people in the town of Windsor that I have encountered.

Nice store. Great customer service. The butchers are very helpful as are the checkers. One drawback is the Gross parking lot.

Me and my girlfriend came into this Safeway to buy Eternal Water & cases of water. This the best Safeway in Santa Rosa. We went to go checkout our items. The cashier Ashley was very friendly and respectful to us. She even helped my girlfriend put money on her Netspend card when customer service was closed. I’ll definitely be coming back to this location.

Horrible experience. I went to local village for some pancakes where I saw jack and Jimmy Kimmel. This one guy was really examining the door and placed a sign saying “PrimirGame’s house...” at that point i was sure that this place was filled with alcoholics and i had to get out. Then a guy started yelling “JOHN CENA BOM BOM BOM BOM BOM” and Jack’s evil twin entered and, while holding a knife, said “GO FOR THE EYES” anyways overall okay experience, better than my home town!

Price is higher than discount grocery stores, so is the quality.More reasonably priced than boutique groceries, but still lots of local and organic options.

I was able to get a normally $5.99 priced type of ice cream for just $2.88 with Just for U savings. Awesome!

Convenient and Safeway is the only store that carrys Ben n Jerrys Vanilla Caramel Fudge ice cream. All the grocery stores sell the Ben n Jerrys brand but for some reason not that flavor. Plus I get Tons Tons of deals thru their App

There are several different Safeway locations near me and this is my favorite. It’s clean, has a wide selection and the staff is nice. It isn’t “on the way home” as much as the others, but worth the extra stop light. Make sure to look for the manager specials throughout the store for added savings.

Ive been shopping at this Safeway location for over 25 years. It has gone so far downhill in recent few years. Very poor management and lots wrong with this particular store. Too much to list. However, one word of caution to shoppers....check the expiration dates on EVERYTHING. There are OFTEN outdated products on shelves. I returned some yogurt products when I saw they were very outdated after I got home. As an experiment, I marked the bottom of the packages before returning them. The following day they were back in the refrigerator case for sale! I could write a book on bad experiences here. Sadly this store is in great need of major improvements and in dire need of some good management. Its worth paying a bit more on some items and shopping at Big Johns, Olivers or just go to the Windsor Safeway.

Everyone Employee was Amazing. So helpful. I wish that I could remember the name of the young lady that helped me several times at the mendocino Safeway. She was so warm and pleasant, just a kind and helpful employee. The only description that I have is that she had a kind spirit and one arm, which isnt nor wasnt an issue at ALL! I just want her tp stand out and receive the glory and praise that she deserves. People often complain TOO MUCH, and Do Not give enough Accolades! Love this Safeway...They are Awesomeness❤

This Safeway has almost as much variety as the one on West College Avenue and has short lines for checkout

Fruit and veggies are often out of code, theres a seperate check out for hygiene, baby, alcohol items so you have to check out in two places or take your full cart to a tiny check out. This use to be a great location but I really hate going there now. I usually will pay more and go to Olivers or drive to Windsor Safeway.

I am an avid Safeway shopper, and after moving to Santa Rosa this was my go to. Went there multiple times a week, never had a single issue. This time, I happened to go with my partner and at the self check out the old rude check out attendee made a scene and accused us of stealing for a simple misunderstanding. You have FOREVER lost my business. Id rather drive an hour to shop than ever have to go to this business again. Maybe check the extremely rude elderly man in the self check out. He was so out of pocket today.

Amazing ice cream sandwiches and it is for a good cause in the community. Must try the sea salt carmel ice cream.

The new set up of medicine and alcohol having a separate check out is insulting at best. Winter earlier today everybody was super friendly and I usually shop at the rincon Valley one where I know that store inside now so going to this 1 Im a little lost but I liked it because there were workers just roaming the aisles looking for people to help and that usually doesnt happen so I was very happy and I always got a friendly smile and pointed in the right direction or taken to directly to the item
