Great experience using glass doctor. Ive never had a rock hit my windshield hard enough to cause the damage I saw on my poor car and it kinda freaked me out. I called glass doctor first and they called my insurance company and I was covered for a new windshield. They came to me immediately, the gentleman was professional and fast! 30 years he has been doing installations. OEM parts too. So fast, so easy, and no charge. Made this whole process positive. Highly, highly recommend. Ive heard horror stories about unscrupulousness competitors pulling bait and switch and this company is the real deal. Thank you!

I had a cracked window and they were very prompt with coming out, knew the size and the tint required just by looking. I didnt shop around on price but it seemed reasonable, and they were able to split the cost between the 2 visits, half at consult, half at install.

Excellent customer service! Had them replace the glass in a patio sliding door. Two days later we noticed a couple of long scratches in the glass that were overlooked at time of the installation. They came right out and replaced the glass at no charge. Will defiantly use them again for any future glass repairs.

A 10/10 job from this company! I called inquiring about getting my windshield replaced after hitting a duck while driving to work. The glass doctor associate was awesome in getting everything set up with my insurance company and creating a conference call to confirm the appointment with both my insurance company and myself. On the day of replacement the gentleman was fast and experienced. To top it all off, my windshield was replaced with a Mopar factory windshield. Most companies will use a cheap aftermarket windshield, but not the glass doctor. I hope I am never in this situation again, but if I am I will confidently choose this company.

A guest in our home accidentally slammed our sliding glass door, instantly shattering a 28x92 double pane clear glass. This happened on a Sunday morning and when we called GDS it was repaired by that afternoon! Was thankful for their 24hr service and Matt, the technician, was kind and capable. Though I am hopeful to never have the need, I would highly recommend and use their services again.

They answered the phone when I called, got it scheduled quickly, and the tech called in the AM just like they said he would. My only negative was that I didnt get a call when the job was completed. But I know that it was completed on time so that was the most important thing for me. Thank you Glass Doctor. You got my truck back on the road making money in very short order!

Emailed on a Sunday morning and received a call back within minutes. Shared required details, spoke to my Insurance Rep and received approval for a new windshield. Glass Doctor Rep called promptly Monday morning and said he would be there at 9:30. Arrived promptly and completed the repair in 45 min. Totally professional and would highly recommend them to anyone needing windshield repair.

My windshield has a large crack in it and Chris walked me through step by step to get it repaired. He even dealt directly the insurance company to ensure there was no money out of my pocket. I contacted this company last minute for a windshield replacement. The response time was amazing. I had an appointment set up within an hour of me requesting a quote. The representative that set up my appointment was extremely professional and kind. He worked to accommodate my daughters schedule on extremely short notice and I really appreciated his effort. The technician assigned to complete the work was in contact with me the entire time. There was an issue with the technician and my daughter meeting; the technician was extremely patient and very kind to my daughter. I would use this company again.

After dealing with Safelite for 4 weeks and no windshield I decided to call Glass Doctor based on reading reviews! I called the main office and talked to Adrienne and she was so friendly and fast and had it all setup in 15 minutes she really knew her stuff! I got Chris Mcaffie and he was amazing in these troubled times..Let me start by saying i calles 5 other glass repair places and was told to contact my incurance by 2 of them and call them back with my incurance on the line... On my way to a conference, a stone struck and cracked my Lexus windshield. When I reached my destination, I googled windshield replacement and because of the numerous positive reviews I called Glass Doctor of Sarasota.The operator taking the call was extremely personable. She took the pertinent vehicle/insurance information, contacted my insurance carrier to verify coverage and then set an appointment for a technician to come out the following day. She gave me the option of a morning or afternoon appointment and even informed me that the technicians phone number may appear as unknown so that I do not let the call go unanswered. Within 15 minutes of initiating the call to file the claim and set an appointment for a mobile windshield replacement, everything was set.The next morning, I received a text message from Frankie, the Glass Doctor technician, informing me of the approximate time of arrival and then as the time approached, how far he was from my location.Frankie was professional, respectful and efficient. Prior to installation, he snapped photos of my vehicle and of course of the damaged windshield. He installed the windshield in a timely fashion, explained how long to let it cure before washing the vehicle and gave me the opportunity to ask questions. Frankie is an extremely impressive young man who clearly takes pride in his work. Frankie has confidence and made the job look easy...just as most people who knows what theyre doing, However, replacing a windshield is not easy. Moreover in my opinion, it is an your windshield is an intricate component in a vehicles safety apparatus.I have yet to drive the vehicle but I am confident the new windshield is firmly in place and all the imbedded gadgets (satelite, rain sensors etc) operate as its predecessor.Dont hesitate to have Glass Doctor of Sarasota replace your windshield and definitely request Frankie as the technician to do the work.

One call did it all. This is the second time I have used their service to replace a window. The 1st was on Longboat Key and the 2nd was in Sarasota at our new house. I knew the cost when I called and gave a description. Bryan showed up as scheduled and got all the correct measurements and ordered the glass. He came back with the glass and installed it. His work was outstanding. The work was completed before the other company even completed its cost estimate. Their cost estimate was much higher than glass doctor. With outstanding work and fair pricing I am a customer for life.

Glass Doctor did not honor the work estimate they initially sent to me. They tried to significantly increase the cost despite telling me directly that it would stay the same! Did not feel that they were honest or professional about it so I didnt use their service!

I have not even received my service yet and the process has been terrible. I work during the day and the rep has been BLOWING up my phone. I have been getting countless texts AND phone calls. I work at a doctors office where I am not supposed to be on my phone so it is VERY stressful to have it going off the entire time. I answered and had to hang up because a patient walked in and I got a very rude text following saying you do not hang up on me. I will use the service for my windshield and see how it goes but so far I DO NOT recommend EVER using this company if you do not need added stress to your days.

I called this company as I knew they were a reputable company. I reached out to someone who told me to email them information with pictures. They then informed me they would call me back later that day. They did not. I then called them with in office hours to no answer. I called back several days in a row for no one to answer me. I then called again the start of the following week, where someone told me they would send a high priority email to the young lady I previously had dealings with. I never got an email or a call back. I really wanted to use this company, but instead I had to look elsewhere as we needed the glass in our door fixed asap. I gave two stars because the two times I spoke to someone the customer service agents were very nice on the phone. I work in customer service (a rental agency) and am aware sometimes you get busy, but it would have been nice to at least have an email stating you can or can not do the job, or if you had to wait for a quote. No one even was scheduled to come out to even look at our door. Again, I get being busy as sometimes I get busy, but I always find the time to call back or email a customer back if I miss their call or get an email.Im sorry for leaving a review, it is not my style, but I just wanted to pass on my experience. I typically will not leave reviews for small things that happen, as I dont want to stir trouble. I just wanted to pass this on. I again, had a good experience with the friendliness of the people I spoke to though! : )

I called in first thing this morning to coordinate a windshield replacement for my vehicle. I was told that Geico was taking too long to answer and the rep told me she would get them on the line and call me right back. Its 2:00p and she still hasnt called me back. When I called in, she had totally forgotten about me and never completed the call. Such a poor experience. The term Mickey Mouse comes to mind. I canceled and will be taking my business elsewhere.

100% aggravation, I got quote $350 and they were busy so scheduled 10 days later. No call, so I called and they said we are busy reschedule out 14 days. They also changed my price to $675 up 90% with no review. Arrived 6pm with glass only no mutton as agreed . No calls, no firm price not the same glass.....I sent them away good riddance 3 strikes shame on me !

Great price and quick

Never had a cracked windshield before. One day I notice a crack coming from the top about 5 inches. In my head I hear their catchy jingle...call the glass doctor, well fix your panes. so I did. I didnt have full coverage, so I had to pay out of pocket. $292 for a new windshield for a 2001 Malibu. I work 100+ hors a week so I didnt really have time to shop around to see if price is competitive. They came to my work, and in about 45 minutes had a new windshield installed for me. Less than 2 weeks later, I had an even larger crack coming from the top again. I called them back and told them my new windshield was cracked. They sent out a technician who immediately said it was road damage. I drive 3 miles to work and # miles home 7 days a week. I dont go many other places, so you can imagine my frustrations, I left a review stating just how felt about it. Owner Brian reached out, and we were able to come to compromise that we both could live with. So they sent out another tech and once again replaced my windshield. Brian was very friendly and a pleasure to do business with. My original review was BEWARE and go elsewhere but after dealing with Brian, who was very professional and courteous, I will recommend them to anyone I know who has a glass problem. And thanks to Brian for making me a satisfied customer!

Intially I thought the price would be much less but it was really high untill I called around and found it was in line with other companies.
