The employee there was very helpful, quick and friendly. He was the only one there and was able to help 3 customers inside and outside of the store simultaneously and with great service. Cheerful attitude as well! They seemed to have a large selection of batteries. I needed a new key fob battery and he replaced it in literally seconds. Great price and service. I highly recommend this place.

I purchased a car battery for my Mercedes on line and set an appointment time for installation at the Sarasota store on Bee Ridge Rd. After receiving an email that my battery was ready, I headed to the store. There I was greeted there and referred to the young man (I didnt get his name) that would do the install. I did not have to wait more than 5 minutes even though the store was quite busy with other inquiries, I assume. We went out to the parking lot and he hooked up a device that would save my radio and automatic seat settings even. Then after some trial and error on the best tools to use, he removed the large battery cover and wrestled the old battery out from the tight space. He then installed the new one and reattached the cover. He said he hadnt done an install on my particular model before but he certainly figured it out. I was in and out in about 35 minutes! I would recommend this service to my friends.

Great service and wonderful team. They are always prompt, respectful, and informative. I highly recommend them. They cut and programmed a new car key fob for me the other day, and even allowed my dog to hang out with me inside while we waited for the key to be programmed. Great people!

Ive gotten several batteries for various cars from this store in the past, and been satisfied every time. On this occasion, I took my scooter in with what appeared to be a dead battery. Long story short, Brian very patiently swapped batteries multiple times, charged my existing battery and sent me on my way without charging me anything. Ill be back when I really need a replacement battery.

Six years ago I had the pros at batteries plus replace a watch battery. They offered me the lifetime replacement battery option for a reasonable fee. I opted for the offer and am glad that I did. This is my third battery replacement in 6 years. I have saved money and received great service and always managed to find a great sale going on and stock up on supplies. Melvin, an employee in the store, was too inexperienced to install a battery today. No experienced installer participated until I insisted. Many things were wrong with my install, 1. Melvin was not able to locate the correct product on the shelf, he kept looking at the 24 month warranty section until I, the Customer, pointed out that I ordered a 36 month warranty battery and directed him. I asked him if he needed help many times - Melvin said no. I then insisted that an experienced person come to my aid after Melvin lied many times to me about his skill level. Evident to me that MUCH MORE training is required. Not acceptable. Would give this Sarasota store 0 stars if possible.

I didnt think to look here for a car battery initially but was happy that they had a name brand at a great price. I was able to find an additional coupon online so saved even more. Customer service was great. They carried the battery to our car. Im very pleased with the experience and will likely check them first next time I need a battery.

They are wonderful here. they are extremely helpful. Putting wiper blades on putting a battery in. Getting you what you need at a good price. just today they made a key fob for me. You go to a dealer and its like $250. I bought the key fob on Amazon for $20 and then they programmed it for $60. How awesome is that. Love this place.

I needed a new backup battery for my Alarm system, and found a Duracell 12V 7Ah for a decent price at Batteries+. Easy to purchase online, easy pickup at the store which is open until 8pm (convenient for working dads to pick up after dinner). Also added a box of AA and AAA, which was cheaper than the local hardware stores and you get 10% off your order if you order online and pickup in the store when ready. Walk in, walk out.

I have been getting my batteries from your store in the last few years. Each experience has been better and I have learned more each time. I have not encountered this level of knowledge for all the batteries I have purchased before and I have five children so over the years this has led to a lot of cars and batteries. Jim yesterday was spot on on the possible solution for my RV engine battery and what may have caused the problem. I came home and looked it up and he knew the information and causes perfectly. The online identifying and ordering of my car battery was very straightforward. I also got a 10% coupon for buying on-line. It was not curbside delivery as I advertised/expected, but I had to come into the store anyway for returning my old battery. Although there were 3 customers in front of me, the total wait was under 5 min, and the salesperson brought the battery to my car. Installation was also quite straightforward, so the entire turnaround was 1.5 hrs and I have a running car again, and probably saved myself $150-200.

Best customer service- for warranty work on an ipad screen, so I came back for an iPhone battery replacement- done in 30 minutes. Also had my garage door opener and car fob battery. And when they didnt have a headlight for my car, told me where I could find it. Always helpful and professional. Would go there for any service they provide without hesitation. A Godsend! Trying to make an appointment on time, 3 ladies trying to meet up for an item they left in my car, I stopped to get gas & utilize GasBuddy to report the gas prices... Telling myself, Dont forget your phone. Almost overfilled the tank & used the window cleaner & squeegee to wipe off my mess, grabbed my receipt and took off...I left the phone on the roof of the car, thought it was at the gas station, but actually fell off while making the left hand u-turn. Came back to find the phone, otterbox defender & screen protector, with the screen cracked... Phone was still fully functional, but the lcd was out, not the back light. Needed the phone for work tonight, prayed they had my phone screen in stock. They always carry 1-2 of every type. They had my phone fixed, back to normal (as far as I can currently tell, in less than an hour to get me back to work. $140 - $20 March special (I also picked up some batteries I needed, so $140 total, with 6 9 volt batteries) was a steal to have my phone, necessary for work, back up & running before I actually needed it.Totally recommend batteries plus bulps for cell phone, tablet & other electronic device fixes. Its a chain, so if you can call ahead (from another phone) check which one has what you need in stock. Sarasota location is as good of not better than the Venice & Port Charlotte locations, with the same, treat you like family & your emergency is theirs, customer service & attention to detail. Highly recommend them for your repair needs.

I called today to inquire about getting a new battery for my truck. I spoke with Jim who told me about the process and that they provide free installation. He told me that if I ordered for online pickup that I would save 10% off of my purchase.I purchased my battery and called the store when I pulled into the lot. Jim answered and said he would be right out.Jim had a cart full of tools when he approached my vehicle, greeted me and started to inspect the vehicle. I am so glad that I had Jim install the battery, I had no idea how much of a pain in the neck it was going to be! Jim had to remove multiple catch bars and brackets before he could even touch the battery. It was a time involved process and Jim was professional and courteous the entire time. Batteries Plus saved me a lot of hassle, I couldnt imagine installing this battery myself. I shopped the competition on battery prices as well and Batteries Plus had a better price than Tire Kingdom for a battery with a 3 year warranty, and Tire Kingdom only had a 1 year warranty! They apparently don’t honor accounts from other stores. They could not find my(or any other customer’s in the store) account and wanted me to pay another $20 for a new one. I declined and just had her put the new batteries in. She assured me both were working. Well when I got home one does not work or even light up which she would have seen if she did check them. Shame on me for not checking myself or getting a receipt. I will go elsewhere next time to put in my own batteries.

DO NOT GET YOUR PHONE FIXED HERE! It’s a joke and their “warranty” doesn’t warranty anything. They do a horrible job fixing your phone and I highly recommend going else where.

Shawn and his guys are great! Id been having problems with my Galaxy S9+ running out of battery and Shawn was able to hook me up and have me back on the road in under an hour and at a very reasonable price. They are very knowledgeable and helpful- while I waited they helped people with everything from car batteries to tablets and key fobs. Everyone was very polite and friendly. Great customer service is hard to find and always appreciated, and you can expect to receive that here. They also answered my questions over the phone before I came in and all the answers were the same when i asked again in person.

During evening hours, I was able to find a currently difficult to locate 3v battery online at the Batteries Plus Bulbs closest to me. Despite the current demand for this particular battery the price was competitive. As promised on line following my purchase, I was notified by email within 10 minutes of opening hours the next morning that my purchase was available and ready for pick-up. In the store, personnel were extremely pleasant and efficient. I cant think of any part of the entire transaction that could be improved.

Woke up on a Monday morning to a dead car battery and I had to be in work by 8:30. I noticed that Batteries Plus opened at 7:00am, so I had my car jumped and drove down to have them check it out. I arrived at 7:03 and I was back home by 7:30 with a new car battery and a GREAT experience. Jersey Jim took care of me and he was OUTSTANDING!! Polite, professional, knowledgeable, and a great sense of humor.You might pay a little more, but they more than make up for it with their quick service and professionalism. Like most others, I am always looking for the best bargain. In this case the best bargain is the whole package, not just the price. No need to make an appointment. I want to thank Brian at the 4401 Bee Ridge Road store for quickly diagnosing AND fixing my old iPhone. I thought the problem was: (1) an old battery, and (2) a loose power connector. Turns out, it was neither. Brian saved me a bundle by deciding to check for something that lurks in the dark and creeps on on everyone -- what could that be? Pocket lint. Yup! It accumulates over time until eventually, slowly, your charger cord wont seat properly -- your phone barely charges, your earbuds disconnect randomly, and you think your phone has had a critical malfunction and all hope for recovery is gone. I have been going to the Bee Ridge store since it opened. Recently needed to replace my car battery and I arrived close to closing but it was still done with a smile. I am a Sam’s Club and Costco member with Walmart near by and could probably save a few dollars. I enjoy going to the store and seeing smiling faces and Shawn recognizing me and addressing me by name.

Not only did I come in having no idea what I needed but he found what I needed, explained the options and their warranties to me and then spent 30 minutes determined to install them at no additional charge. Id say the amount of time alone was amazing, as I hear Mazdas cars headlights are extra difficult to access, but he did this all in 98 degree heat in the middle of the day in August in Florida!!! The car was so hot he even suffered a minor burn, poor guy!!!! Amazing! Was respectful with covid mask the whole time too. Total A+

I went to return a battery that had gone bad after just over a year. The staff person that assisted me was very patient with me as I was in a bad mood due to just being ripped off by the auto mechanic. Anyway, he checked out my battery and called me back to give me the verdict and let me know that Batteries Plus would be providing a replacement battery.
