My husband and I went on a day trip twice to get some Gelato it really is the best, they have gluten free options which is awesome as I have a gluten intolerance. Its refreshing and nice on a cold or hot day, definitely will be back soon.

I was waiting for takeout from another place and decided to treat myself while I waited, which was such a good choice. They had both traditional and unique gelato flavors. I strongly recommend the Stracciatella, Tiramisu, and Banana Nutella. I took a lid but instantly realized that I wasnt going to need it. Im ready to go back and add more to that list. To top it off the staff were friendly! Im very happy I stumbled across Saratoga Gelato!

I dont like ice cream, but even I was impressed by how good the gelato was.

They didnt have any of the good flavors available. And the one I got was freezer burn.

Refreshing! Not too rich or sweet and doesnt leave a milky/syrupy feel like many ice cream brands. At least 12 flavors and you can try samples, first. Cafe drinks available and other beverages available.

Vegan options! Not the best gelato Ive ever had, but better than having a fatty ice cream 🍦🌿PL

Delicious! Generous portion size and reasonably priced. The owner, who is a friendly guy, even does weddings and corporate employee appreciation events. All at very reasonable rates.

I have been going here since my kids were little. They are 21 and 17. They are very friendly and the gelato is always different and fresh

Open for long hours (we went here for dessert after date night), always have a variety of vegan friendly sorbet in the cooler. Have some seating indoors and outdoors, but also easy enough to take with you while you wander Saratoga.

I came here because I missed Italy so I guess I should apologize for high expectations. The flavor choices were extensive for a little shop like this. However half the flavors were gone at 1pm on a Tuesday on a rainy spring day (so not busy race season to explain this) and the flavor I did have had chunks of ice and what tasted like gelato with freezer burn. Taste before you order.

Only in America could this pass as Gelato. The pistachio flavour had no real flavour at all, the hazelnut didnt have any hazelnut bits, and it was all way too sweet. The proprietor needs to spend some time in Italy or Vienna to get a sense of what real Gelato is all about...

Honestly Ive been here twice from what I remember. The staff has been wonderful both times but the birthday cake flavor on 3/29/19 was horrendous it tasted salty and almost tasted like the smell of play dough. But the guy that was working at 6:38pm on March 29th 2019 was a wonderful guy.

Delicious Gelato made the right way, with fresh ingredients and hard work. Not sure about these clowns who say its not authentic, it definitely is homemade. You can taste the freshness from the fist bite which ultimately leads into eating too much. Portion sizes are just right, the way its suppose to be with Gelato.Its a little on the expensive side but what isnt when youre in Saratoga, you pay for the area that youre in. I loved it and cant wait to get more. Thank you for making a quality Italian product in Saratoga!

This is one of the few places in Saratoga that we know of which offers dairy free options - for those with food issues. The gelatos are wonderful and the variety and options (flavors and types) make it a family favorite.

This place was amazing. We went in for a ITALIAN HOT CHOCHLATE AND it was the best thing I ever had. The service was amazing and the place was so comfortable.MUST GO

Great gelato. Popular. There is long line on most nights during the tourist season. A few tables outside on the street so you can people-watch while having dessert.

Its expensive, but definitely worth it. The gelato is delicious, and the interior of the shop is quaint, with (possibly authentic?) Italian music playing through the speakers. Its cozy, charming, and the customer service was great!

Very good gelato, I recommend chocolate sea salt & caramel. Staff was kind. Only complaint was the plastic spoons instead of wood.

Kitschy little place on Broadway, with not much seating and a small frontage - so look can or youll miss it. The decor harkens to the past of the owners grandparent, from the era of World War 2. The quality is fine, but the price is a little high - rent in the district I suppose. Not too far from Congress Park and convenient for a snack or drink on a hot day.

So good 1 of my favorite places for a treat!!

Great selection of gelato flavors! The kids will love it! There are traditional flavors and also appealing flavors like peanut butter cup, or blueberry cheesecake. All of the gelato is presented very nicely with whipped cream and is practically impossible to resist.

I have been there twice in summer.Both times the scooper was very nice and the gelato had ice crystals in it. The gelato is far too expensive to be served like that.

Authentic gelato, relaxed atmosphere and a good choice of flavors as well as an assortment of coffees, Italian pastries and cold beverages. A favorite of mine any time of year.

Good gelato- lots of flavors, and I appreciate being able to try a bit before committing to a full cup or cone. I actually prefer gelato over ice cream on a steamy summer afternoon, of which there are plenty in Saratoga in the month of August

Delicious treats and nice atmosphere.

I tasted gelatos all over the world (including Italy) and what I was served was not gelato, just mediocre ice cream. The texture was not smooth and contained ice crystals, the flavors were bland. Never again!

Nice staff hence more than one star. The gelato however is gross and not gelato, its American ice cream. Portions are way too big. Etc.

If you like Tiramisu, do not miss the Tiramisu gelato here. Also hazelnut, and chocolate classic! Friendly staff too.

This place is a local treasure. I have only tried the gelato and canoli, but both were amazing. I try to stop in here every time Im in town, and my only disappointing experience was when the blueberry gelato (vegan, dairy-free) was only okay. They work with allergies and dietary restrictions to the best of their ability, and I have heard they will even make you a special batch for food allergies if you call and give sufficient notice. Do yourself a favor, get a cup of hazelnut gelato. You will not be disappointed.
