HomeGoods is a fun store with great discounted items for all seasons. Some products are pricier than I would like. But when you find the right priced chotchke at the right time its like fireworks go off in your brain and wallet and youll keep returning for the next treasure hunt.

Walked in looking for a couple little things and as usual, we ended up leaving with what seems like half the store. This is per the norm with this place. We go in looking for a specific item and end up finding 10 other things that are not only necessary but has great style. This place has tons of options for many different personal styles. The store itself is nicely laid out and clean and organized well, and the staff is friendly and attentive.

Great selection of cute home accessories, area rugs, wall mirrors, Christmas decorations and much more. Cute accent furniture pieces, but not the same quality as something that you would buy from a furniture store, but more . Fun stuff, always a treasure hunt! I have been a HomeGoods shopper for years. I love it! Each store is a little different in size and merchandise and management. These stores are always busy and need more help at times. Sometimes there defective merchandise makes the store look bad. If broken...get it off the shelves. Thats my only suggestion. The line was about a half hour to get through and only a few cashiers.

Good food and nice time.

One of your sales associates accused me of stealing a ice tea I walked in with, she just kept saying you never know like I took it, I didnt even know the store sold beverages, she was a cashier. Im spending my money and shes bothering me about my own drink I didnt appreciate the treatment for nothing I was embarrassed for nothing and I think she should apologize to me for that .

Cant say enough about home goods. Need more money and home space. Staff was incredible

Great place to find gifts for kids! They have many games, puzzles, toys and educational items to choose from. Even cute stuffed animals. Most items are reasonably priced.

My first time in a Home Goods store. WOW! I am definitely a fan! I had no idea they would have so many cute things. Ill be back soon.

Be careful, they like to scan item twice. At this time, when people try do not touch anything, they put receipt in the bag, and you cant check number of items. It happened with me today, girl on the register scanned twice, when I came home, I find out it, but there is nothing I can do now. Its so sad, I really liked this store. But, I wont go there anymore.

While store can have nice things they can be in really bad condition without warning signs. I looked at this vanity chair. I took it down from the shelf to test it out. Price was about $60. Guess what? The chair broke. (Ps. I am not that heavy to break the chair). I fall on the floor and the chair cut my leg and I started to bleed.My point is for $60 chair like that shouldnt break! Bad quality! I hope they are not trying to fix this chair to sell it again. Very disappointed with this store!

Good place to buy drapes. They are well made and cheap. Other places charge you 40$ for one panel. You get two panels for about 20$.

I love this location as it is located conveniently from our home. This is the only place I buy home stuff as I love name brand for an affordable price. Ralph Lauren, Kate Spade, Calvin Klein to name a few. How I wish they are more organized though. Whenever I am there, everything is out of place and rugs are all over the floor. Other than that, its an awesome store.

Nice variety of offerings ... from kitchen to bedroom to office to wall hangings. Impressive inclusion of kid-focused bedroom furniture and bedding. Surprising expanse of international foods, spices and food storage containers. Different office decor than you can find elsewhere. Checkout lines can be slow moving as staff generously answer tons of questions from customers.

Always a good place to shop .

This HomeGoods store always have most updated collection. The set up is neat and all is so well that it feels tempting. The way the folks set up and keep all updated is commendable. Try to visit, wont be disappointed.

Love this store, but very crowded

I LOVE HomeGoods!! This is one of my favorite places. I can all find something here whether it be a gift or something for my house. The store is always clean, customer service is always helpful, and they are constantly getting in new things. Whats not to LOVE?

I love shopping here! Theres always a good selection and everything is reasonable priced. The store is a little messy most of the time which is the reason for the 4 stars. Unless you just want to dig through shelves you only get to see part of what they have to offer.

OMG so many great decorative items for your home. And practical housewares you can use daily. So surprised by the amount of decor for fall and Halloween. More and different from Michaels and Hobby Lobby

One of the better home goods around. A pretty nice selection of items. This place seems to get a new shipment every Sunday (dont hold me to that) and there always seems to be plenty of nice things at very healthy discounts.

I enjoy this HomeGoods. Ive had several returns considering Im a new home owner and we are trying to see what goes and what doesnt. An older cashier has always wished me well on my endeavor and has been very gracious on my return transactions.This Home Goods quality of customer service definitely surpasses that of the TJMaxx/HomeGoods in Palatine.

Good place to find items for cheap

+ They have a ton of really unique things and its always different.- Aisles are tight and hard to maneuver especially when the store is crowded.

Extremely crowded and difficult to move around with a cart. They do have fantastic Christmas items that are unique.

Alittle expensive but they have decent stuff. Always stocked well and usually have multiple of the same items.

Something for everyone and a fun place to shop.

Went there to stock up on gift bags and wrapping paper - there were three employees in the gift wrap aisle restocking and moving things around. I asked if I could squeeze in and look at the bags. Nobody even acknowledged me. Went ahead and did so... the lady said “ugh I’m trying to get in there” ... left without buying anything. This is a great location with plenty of good finds, but the employee attitude can use some improvement. Also, keeping an aisle accessible even if re-doing is important. Horrible experience.

I really dont like this store. It has a tendency to make my family really overspend. Great selections. So my thing is to buy a large bag of Carmel corn with the goal of having some left when they are done shopping. Never works I still end up paying for an empty bag.

I agree with most of what youve probably already read. Truly one of the better home goods locations. Although, I have run into a couple older employees here with chips on their shoulders who were less than helpful, overall everyone is VERY friendly and willing to help. The manager is also a stand up guy and very friendly - ive seen him on the floor a lot helping people. I prefer the South Barrington store, since I live in the neighborhood, but this is the only other store Ill come to if I cant find something there.
