My favorite home improvement store. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. They have experience and are able to help with all of my questions. Unlike the save big money store. I do wish every store was setup the same but I understand there are limitations.

AVOID ORDERING APPLIANCES ONLINE! I ordered a laundry center online and used a promotional code to get 12 months of 0% interest. When ordering the unit I requested installation and removal of the old appliances. The delivery people refused to remove the old appliances and wanted to drop off the laundry center in the garage instead of bringing it in the home and installing it. I explained that there was some mistake and asked them to call home depot, the delivery service refused. I called home depot and they looked up the order and said they had no record of me ordering the installation or the $25.00 box I checked to remove the old appliances. They said it might be a glitch in the system. I would have gladly allowed them to charge my account for these items, but they offered no assistance to rectify the situation. Horrible customer service! Do yourself a favor and take your business elsewhere to skip the stress!

Like any home depot they have all youre home repair/construction needs. This home depot rents out trucks also and they are a drop off location for Penske trucks. Pretty handy droppingn off large trucks as they have a huge parking lot.

Made an order for delivery,7 min later I realized I shorted myself.Tried to correct order.Staff said had to make another sell and charge for 2 separate deliveries.Scam city.They should be reported to better business

When we ordered our washer & dryer the associate was wonderful. However the delivery time stinks! You have over $1000 of our money & still no appliances! If we hadnt called today we would have assumed our items would be delivered tomorrow. However when I called, we were informed the new date was the 12th! Good thing we called since we wouldnt be home. No call to change the date. And no we have to wait until the 20th!!! We will never by from the Schaumburg store again. We bought all our kitchen appliances at your Bartlett store with no problem! The delivery STINKS!

I love Home Depot and I can spend hours there, and I do. And I have to say that generally speaking, the employees here are more helpful than Menards.

This is for the schaumburg Illinois store off of Barrington Rd.I needed a sheet of plywood cut in half lengthwise, the employee guy cut the sheet, but it was over 5/16 off. I asked why cant you cut it in half? I need two, 2ft wide pieces, 8 feet long. He said they cant cut wood accurately at this store, its been messed up for a while.I was beside myself. They tried another piece and it was worse. I told them this is unacceptable for the flagship Home Depot store to be unable to cut wood straight.Has this woke incompetent attitude and philosophy made even a store like Home Depot become trash?I dont know, but I drove to the store on Meacham, in Elk Grove, and they cut the plywood perfectly. Again, schaumburg disappoints, and Elk Grove proves to be the best.

9.1.2021 went to return a rug. **management** PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE have your associates clean the customer service area. When I arrived around 255p there were a combination of 14 carts/flat beds carts in the customer service area where customers would generally line up. I felt unsafe in this area as carts and product were tossed around willy-nilly. This is not a good representation of your store. What a mess!! I was unsure where I needed to go for a return. After finding a little walkway to return my item at the customer service area, I make the comment to the associate Aryan (who took my return) on how unsafe and messy this area is, he said it was cluttered because they had inventory that they couldnt store in the back. Well those carts were not inventory items looks more like a cluster of returns or restock. How embarrassing to have customers walk into a store and see a ghastly sight. Image if you had a secret shopper or your district manager did a surprise visit. Thank goodness this is a store I dont frequent. Not my home store by any means.

The customer service team member “Faucy” healped me find the correct plumbing tools; and now my kitchen sink pipes are nicely put together. No more leakage & other stains. Thank you Home Depot Team.

Love that store. Its easy to return any extra products left after each project completed. No check required compare to another big home supplier store where you have to have a check for that.

This has been my Home Depot for quite some time. I normally dont ask for help, but I needed a new washing machine to replace a 20 y/o Maytag. I never have dealt with any of the new machines and instead of researching I just asked. Connie Roberts helped me out and she was very knowledgable and patient. I asked a lot of questions. Got most questions answered and narrowed down my choices to three sets. Told her I was going to go home and think about it. She was totally ok with that, and didnt get upset for taking up a good amount of time and not purchasing. I went and did some research on the ones I wanted, and went back to purchase the washer and matching dryer. I made sure to go back to her, and the process was pretty good. She knew all the warranties, extended, and delivery options. There was no pressure to buy any of them, and even though installation was free for washer, and a minimal fee for the dryer, I declined both. No problem. She also told me just to make sure to inspect everything upon delivery. Also to level everything, and then showed me where all the new hoses and parts I need for installation were. Connie made this purchase as easy as possible. It was a big purchase. Hopefully everything works out. I understand every staff member can be different, but for me, this was a good experience. I had other stores I could have purchased from, but glad my local Home Depot came through on this purchase.

Bought three. Two leaked at the hose-end connector. Exchanged two. One leaked at the hose-end connector. Exchanged one. Also bought some contact cement just in case I need to glue the hose-end connector if (when) it leaks. I would have returned all these soaker hoses and bought a different brand but because the landscaping season was pretty much over, I was forced to deal with this brand despite the poor quality. How does this manufacturer claim that thier product is the choice of professional landscapers? A word of advice, buy another brand!

They are going back to their old ways, they hate having to answer questions or assist customers. I remember when Lowes opened across the street years ago and the fear of having to compete transformed the staff overnight! They were polite and wanted to help. Now they’ve hired people that act as if you’re a pest instead of a paying customer. Good thing Menard is just down the road, but same arrogant customer service

If you need it for home improvement, they likely have it. Curbside pickup for online orders is great.

No help from the associetes asked 2 times for help, waited for 25 mins. And no body showed up

So when I went to store gardening side to buy plants I saw sunflower for 9.98$ and when I went for billing I have been asked to pay 79$ then I asked cashier to check price she said its a mistake and she removed the price and when I asked for manager. One guy comes and talks rudely and said I wont be able to giveI had worst experience ever and felt humiliated in front of other customers, they were rude

Be careful when renting a tool from this place. They dont warn you about what state should the tool be brought back. They kind of set a trap to have you pay more money.

Love this store! Everyone I met here was so very helpful and friendly. If they don’t have what you need, they will find it at another store for you. They cut all of my wood and answered the many questions I had.

The manager Leshon and employee Matt went above and beyond to make sure that I was happy with the grill and chest freezer I purchased. There were some hiccups along the way but they made sure I left there with my purchase and a smile on my face. You guys are the real MVPs! Home Depot is the best place to go for tools, paint, or virtually anything for home improvement projects.

Good luck talking to an actual person on the phone. They pass you around and then hang up on you. Wont answer 2nd call.

Great place for the foyer. Handicapped parking and building access. You got a project this is the place to be. Wear a mask and your set to hunt down what you need. Staff are friendly and have a great knowledge about where to locate what you need if you cant find it. Great paint desk.

Every day customers shop at Home Depot. Inside Home Depot is lots of different things like grills outdoor plants and wood. Alsohas different washing machines and dryers. This store sells bolts and tools. It is in Schaumburg ILLINOIS by Barrington Road and Schaumburg road.

Lawn and garden had a horrible supervisor that would intentionally embarrass his employees in front of customers - His name was Chris. The employees had decent knowledge of the items, but his treatment of the people under him was just awful. It made you;feel sad for them, and wonder how they could work there. I heard he was demoted to night crew and eventually fired due to his abuse of the employees. The store itself has a nice selection of items.

Ordered a milwaukee impact on home depot website for shaumburg store. Waited over 2 hours in the store on saturday may 1st. Then cancelled my order because they couldnt find it, online they said they had 6 of them. The reason i ordered from this store that was 30 minutes away from where i live was because they had them in stock.

I was there Saturday June 6 at around 2 PM for a curbside pickup. The young man that delivered my order was so incredible and happily loaded my items into my car for me. I then realized too late that I didnt have cash on me to give him a tip. I went back the following day to try to find him to give him a tip for doing an incredible job and for just being awesome but couldnt find him. I thought I found him, but this other young man said that is awfully nice of you, but that wasnt me. It wouldnt be fair to take something that is rightfully his, but wish I knew who it was so he gets it. Hopefully youll find him. Im hoping management will find this review and find out who this gentleman was so I can tip him in person at his next shift. I have had nothing but positive experiences here. They are incredibly nice and helpful and I will continue to support them. Thank you so so much for all you do!! It is super appreciated!!

Asked Customer Service employee if he knew where the tarps were, all he said was the only ones he knows of are outside. With a quick search on HomeDepot app I was able to find it and it was the aisle right in front of him. What help is customer service if they can’t even point me in the right direction or even try to help me solve my issue. Thanks for being a corporate company that hires a bunch of imbeciles. I should’ve known better to ask someone for help!

Was in line for a long time as the cashier had all the time in the world to run customers credit application. This should be done at customer service desk not at random checkout points...🤦‍♂️

Great staff could not have been nicer.

The service desk has been nothing but helpful during the numerous times I have visited. I have never seen such a great group of people work together. I witnessed a lot of rude customers and everyone was there to support one another. The try their best to get curbside pick-ups out in a timely matter, and try to help every customer as fast as they can. They all have great attitudes. I hope everyone continues the great job, as it makes my shopping experience that much better! Also, lumber department seems like they love their job and are always willing to help!

Selection was great, found everything easily. I needed half a sheet of 1/4 drywall. All I had to do was ask and one associate grabbed me a sheet goods cart while the other, Dean, helped me move the sheet and then cut it down to rough size on the spot. Excellent customer service!

During Black Friday sale we bought washer and drier. We had a problem with transaction because computers were very slow!!! After finishing transaction we were informed about delivery which suppose to be on December 11 (probably sooner). On December 4, The Home De Pot sent as a message and change delivery day for January 7, 2021.Do they treat costumers seriously? I do not think so.

Every time need something I find myself in this place. I must apply their card services because shopping a lot from here.Today I visited homedepot because I want to make a doll house for my daughter. I prepared my basic blueprint and here Im.I look plywood just for dollhouse and I wont want to spend too much money. But finished surface plywoods are very expensive. So I spend 30 minutes and noone asked anything for help. I decided to walk to the register and ask some help. Because I dont want to pick my own 4 feet by 8 feet plywood and cut it my self. They call some help for me and help came 30 minutes later and said Ill be there with you. After 30 minutes here came because he was helping thr forklift guy to put gates and close eials. Finally he came and said Im yours. Jacob nice guy good customer service. He helped me and I helped him for carrying stuff. Then we put all the stuff on the cart then most annoying squiing noise making cart took a lot of attention. Everyone hated me because their loud annoying cart when I push makes crazy noise. Finally I made it to the register and paid and run.

They are always nice and courteous. Sometimes it is hard to find a person to help but that is not the fault of the people that work there but probably the corporate policy on staffing.In any case. People are nice and friendly and willing to help.Have in mind, though, that I dont shop there often (I am not a very good in home repairs) so I dont know what is going on on daily basis.

I am literally giving all stars for customer service. I was shocked coming from nyc where Home Depot is mostly a self serve business, there were associates on the floor and checking out people. I did not stay long or see what the tool rental service was like but it was clean and friendly. People actually said good morning and wanted to know if i needed help.There was not as much selection on certain things... but I was very impressed with the store.

If you have an emergency and your fridge breaks down, dont come here looking to get one right away, they wont sell you any displays, and they dont have stock for any of them, unless you want one that no one else wanted with dents or paint scratches, or mini fridges, you cant even buy any ovens or dishwashers...oh did your washing machine break down, well you cant get it here to pick up to bring home same day, nope. Went to Lowes found the same fridge same price and in stock.
