Tony W. is amazing at the Schaumburg store. I wanted to try out a club but he asked me questions about my game and current clubs. He suggested a different club and it worked great. I am incredibly grateful and told him I’d buy more clubs but he was honest enough to tell me to take some lessons first.

If you like to golf/play tennis and want quality products with a professional staff this is the place for you! The practice putting green is a very convenient for picking out the perfect putter. Renting the tennis court is a breeze and with the new lights its a great place to practice during the winter season.

Justin and Lindsay are absolutely amazing. Justin is the only reason we get clubs here for my daughter. The other staff always seems to brush her off because she is younger - we have gone numerous times looking for clubs and feel we are not taken seriously as a customer because our daughter is younger. Feel she is dismissed before even getting a chance to hit a club and show that she has the ability. Justin has been the only club fitter who seems interested in helping and has been encouraging through the whole process. Lindsay, an instructor there, has also been amazing and has helped both our girls over the years improve their game. She is great at taking her time with the kids and keeping the instructions at their understanding. The foundation she started has led to the girls being able to participate in US kids, drive chip and putt and Under Armour tournaments

For a company that has a mission statement of Inspire people to play their best and grow the game - I think the employee in the demo bay we worked with forgot this important piece of information. He was rude, condescending, and made it very clear he didnt want to help. Instead of educating and being informative, his approach was to comment on the lack of skill and question every aspect of what we wanted to try. To be honest, the sour taste in my mouth led me to tell my brother not to purchase from here. I could not justify him spending a few thousand dollars at a place that did not value his business. Testing clubs should be fun and getting new equipment is exciting. However, I find it very difficult to grow the game when you belittle your clientele and leave them discouraged.

Selection is phenomenal. The employee I ran across was pretty rude. Went in looking to spend money, but the guy I spoke to not only shot it down, but made comments like “well if you’re only breaking 90..,” “you need to get lessons,” told me the club I was having issues with is one of the easiest in the bag,The tough love ticked me off, but I can accept the feedback. However I don’t even live near the store, so I actually went out of my way to visit and left empty handed.I’m not sure what the business model is at this place, but it’s not customer service focused.Long and short, you might have to do business with these guys just to get what you want, but don’t go in expecting a pleasant experience to come with it.

Went in to find a reasonable used driver and maybe a putter. They didn’t have a used driver under 250, that is absolutely fine. All their used drivers looked like they were in great shape. I decided to treat myself and splurge on a new 400+ dollar driver. Until I couldn’t get one sales person to take me seriously or help me in any way. A cluster was by a simulator, there was one guy at the checkout and that’s all I saw. You would think at 250 plus a club they’d get people in there to help and push you towards buying. I’m not gonna go beg someone to sell me a 400 dollar driver lol. But hey, more power to those who can turn away easy business like that. I went and got more help from a play it again sports buying a club than I ever came close here. All in all, great store with any club you could dream of but unless you have bucks and know exactly what you’re looking for, don’t bother.

About a month ago, I went in to evaluate my swing at one if the practice bays. It was an afternoon mid-week, so not too busy. I was assisted by a really nice guy (James M) who spent almost an hour with me providing various club head and shaft options. I am only into golf for about a year (33 hcp) and have been using a Costco Callaway box set, but James was honest and understanding with my current still level and didnt push me one way or another into buying something expensive. Per his helpful assessment, I wound up getting the lie angles adjusted on my irons at your store (which had a quicker turnaround than quoted which was great) and have had 4 of my 5 best rounds since. And he wrote down for me recommended irons and shafts if I do decide to upgrade in the future.Very pleased with the helpful time and attention from James and look forward to coming back in the future as I progress.

I went in for the full experience, and Chris in club fittings delivered. He was patient, informative, and didnt try to sell me based on price. The store seemed busy, and fitting can take a while to get the right feel, but he handled other customer questions while we worked with poise. From clubs, to a bag, to a range finder, he took the time to make sure I had everything I needed for the season without compromising integrity by overselling. I appreciate the genuine approach he delivered, and the customer experience during checkout was just as exceptional. 10/10, they killed it. My compliments to Todd Diegel for having a customer experience in his store that is second to none.

I ordered irons 12 weeks ago and still havent received my order. When purchasing them they told us we should get them in 4-6 weeks so I gave them the address to the university I was going to. After waiting months for my irons and calling them once a week to check the status of my order, I had to move back home. As soon as I moved back I called to change the address for this this order. I called 5 times to check on the address change and for a tracking number just to be informed that theyre being shipped to the first address I gave them. Every time I talk to someone from this store no one ever knows whats going on or cares that I am upset about my order. I would give this store 0 stars if I could and will never be purchasing anything from this store again. Save yourself a headache and go somewhere else.

Terrible display of management and customer support. Yesterday, I went to buy golf shoes. Spent good amount of time with 3 to 4 different pairs to compare with. They were all about $150 to 180 range. But found Ecco, last pair on display showing $99 and it was very good fit. Box was below and also had huge sticker stating DISPLAY. After waiting in line to pay, it came up $149.99. So, manager came out and Ive walked to show him where it was displayed. While walking this manager was keep saying no way Ecco for $99... ok ...I get it but thats what Ive found and was ready to prove him wrong. So, we are at Ecco section of shoes and surely on display PVC it states Ecco product at $99 but had FootJoy logo. So, he is saying it is for FootJoy and you will have to pay for what Ecco cost is. Also keep stating that I have selected wrong item so he is not sorry but I just need to pay what that shoes supposed to cost. Hmm... ok. ...... 1. FootJoy shoes are about 30 a part from where this was displayed at other section next to Womens shoes. 2. signage and price may be wrong but shoes and description of shoes were at right section. 3. He doesnt apologize for the inconvenience and time Ive spent to choose that shoes 4. He doesnt display any apologetic gesture towards to me but instead dictating to shoe area staff dont ever do it again. ... and walk away. 5. now, I am with different pair in mind at line again to wait to pay. >> But thinking about his whole incident and process is upsetting me now as this manager is trying to leave the blame on me instead of managing store with proper display and pricing. Afterall, it was the last pair and display pair with $50 difference that can easily be split half/half to leave the store with satisfaction but instead bitterness and mistreated feeling embedded in me.

I drove in for my lesson and when I got there, they informed me they did not have me on the schedule. What these guys did was nothing short of impeccable customer service! Without even questioning that I made the mistake, they took ownership, acknowledged and than made up for it with what they offered me for my inconvenience. I worked with Mark and the way he handled this situation was perfection. This is not the first time I have had great customer service from this store, but I guess this is why I do all my shopping here. How they handled this situation just reiterated what I already knew about this store. The store has an incredible ammount of clubs to test out. A fantastic clothing and shoe area. However, both times I have came in to get fitted or test clubs that I was interested in buying I was not taken seriously. I was given access to a simulator and had to aimlessly grab wedges to test out without any guidance. I was really hoping to have someone walk me through the different vokey grinds to help me find the right fit. Instead I was stuck hitting different grinds not really understanding what the differences were. Last summer I purchased the new Taylormade Sim driver from this location and had a similar experience. I was given the driver and the employee helping me walked away before I could even try out different shafts or drivers. I want to get fitted for a whole new set of irons but am worries to come here to do so considering the past experiences i have had. I am looking to have an actual fitting experience in which someone who knows what they are talking about works with me to find the right clubs.

Best part was I randomly asked one of the guys something between 2 of irons I was hitting. He asked to watch me hit them. He didnt say much, he left, he came back and put an iron in my hands and said swing this one. Instantly 15-20 yards further consistently and more accurate. Incredible and glad he was walking by when he was - would have never tried the club if he hadnt. Talked to him for little while then he had to help others. I went in there and found the wedge and spent about 30 minutes re-buying the club because it was on my brothers credit card. Also, the putter I bought had a dent and I found out this because I was about to practice on their putter range ... and saw a dent right near the middle of the club... The manager came out and told me that I couldnt get the money back right away because it was under my brothers credit card... He said I had to come back on the next day or my brother needs to come in with his credit card.. He also kept asking me to get the refund on the PGA Tour Superstore Gift Card... and that he doesnt know how I got the dented club there because the employees wouldnt have gave me the club because they inspect it... He then started to trying to tell me that since that dent is not right in the middle so I could still use it with no problem...I dont think I will ever go back to this store... I literally wasted hour and half because of their mistakes... How hard is it to find a product someone ordered online? The manager wasnt nice neither and kept trying to force me to keep the club or take the store gift card... Im glad I didnt take it home because then they probably wouldve blamed the dent on me....

Terrible customer service, never shopping here again. My brother-in-law (an avid golfer) visited from out of town and wanted to check out the PGA Superstore. He was impressed by wide selection of brands and number of practice bays. When he began to try out some clubs, an employee (I think his name was Dick H.) walked over to the hitting bay, and just stood there and glared at him - didnt ask if he needed help or had any questions, just stood there silently and glared. We felt so uncomfortable that we just decided to leave the store. I was going to purchase a set of Rogue irons myself, but I was so turned off by my brothers experience there, I will just buy them elsewhere.Granted, this is a brick-and-mortar location which make it easy to try out all the newest equipment (and less common brands such as XXIO/Srixon/Honma) - but, if you have a staff of grumpy, unfriendly employees, it is simply not worth anyones time or money to shop there. Especially in the Chicago metro area, you have numerous other options.

The customer service here is redicously bad. I’ve been here now 4x I’m the past month and the annoying disposition of some of the workers promoted me to write this review. The young lady that checked me out just stood there without a welcome or eye contact. I stood there for 5 minutes before the manager told me I could go around the customer he was helping. That was nice but the lady stood there having me wait for no reason. Then proceeded to not interact with me. Which is fine til you here her very energetically say hello to the person right after me. This is the second time in a row and each time she has the same attitude with me.The other bad experience was when I went in to purchase a new driver. I asked for the driver in 9.5 and 10.5 loft. The guy brought me back a 9. I didn’t say anything and tried hitting it. Didn’t do so well. The guy then proceeded to tell me and my friend since he spent an hour with us then we have to buy through him 🤦🏻‍♂️ . I told him I had only been there 20 min and he brought me the wrong club. His response was golden: I did that on purpose to show you you wouldn’t know the difference. WOW!!!! Now that’s just bad salesmanship. The next week I go in to purchase the 10.5 loft G400 and he recognized me and said he helped me. No buddy you didn’t.My last three encounters have been poor customers service. Last time going into this store. I’ll go to Downers Grove PGA and drive the extra 40min not to deal with poor customer service.PGA: don’t judge the look of a customer ( I think it is what happend) . Drove all the way in and get there to find the lights off and doors locked at 6:30pm. What I find on the door is a small notebook paper sized note from a home copy machine that states they are closing at 6pm on Halloween. Since when did this become the type of holiday you close a corporate store for? Thanks to PGA Superstore for wasting my time and gas to close for no good reason. No wonder golf retail is on life support with this type of nonsense.

I had an issue with one of my Titleist clubs. (btw, been using Titleist for years and fan of Titleist. I currently own 915D3, 915FD, and 915HD all with matching Rogue black shafts and love them!)Before going to this store, I called Titleist and the Titleist rep told me that the issue would be either repaired or replaced under warranty. However, I was told that I had to go to an authorized Titleist retailer and have them call in Titleist directly. This was to verify that I wasn’t making up some bogus excuses. So I went to this store and explained the situation after work (around 5:20pm). The store told me that Titleist already closed at 4pm because they were in PA and I would need to come back in following day before 4pm if I wished them to call Titleist.I left the store but on my way back home, I vaguely remembered hearing from the Titleist rep that they were in west coast. So I called Titleist and surely enough, they were still opened but it was too late for me to go back to this store before Titleist really closed.I returned to this store the following day during my lunch break. I explained the situation again and the first response I got from the store was that Titleist was going to charge me no matter what and it would be better off and cheaper to have my club repaired at their store and save on the ship out cost as well.I wasnt happy with their service the day before and I didnt like the attitude of the store. So I refused then the store asked me if I remembered the name of the Titleist rep that I had spoken to.I told the store that I didn’t get the name of the rep but asked them to just call Titleist and find out whatever they had to say.Even if Titleist had said something differently, I was willing to pay extra and go through Titleist than to leave my club at this store. The store refused to call and told me that I shouldn’t expect the store to drop whatever they were doing to call Titleist for their customer whenever they walked in for such warranty issue.Instead, they would collect all the issues from the day then call all the manufacturers all at once in the following morning. This made sense but if this was their process, then why wasn’t I told this when I was here the day before?I wanted no more of their non-sense so I told the store to call Titleist when they had the chance and ship out my club and I left the store after paying the shipping cost.I also asked the store to call me after they called Titleist and notify me of the repair cost from Titleist if the issue wasnt going to be covered under warranty.I never got the call back from the store and weeks went by.After a month later, I called the store myself to check the status. The store told me that they just had received the package from Titleist and my club was ready for a pick up.WOW what a coincidence!!!AND Titleist DID cover it under warranty!During this incident, I was looking to get a new golf bag and a new SC putter. So far, I bought a brand new ’17 Titleist mini staff bag but it wasn’t from this store. And likely, I wouldn’t get the SC putter from this store either.

I am from Peoria Il. Golf Smith used to be down the street from here and I didnt know it closed. I had a couple good experiences there...I was on my way home from a Chicago business trip and I tried to stop there, but found this place instead.I am a 2 or 3 handicap these day. I was an All American College golfer 20 years ago.. but still win a few things now and then.I stopped here to get balls and shop a new driver for an up coming tournament.Pros - Large store. Lots of brands available. Indoor hitting area with computer analysis of swing speed etc..Cons - THE SERVICE! Lots of people working - standing around talking to each other. I was able to hit multiple clubs by myself.. not one person asked me if I needed help in the 1 1/2 hours I was there. I wanted to try a specific driver with a different shaft than what was in the clubs in the demo rack... but I couldnt find the tool to change the shaft myself and no one bothered to take the time to ask me if I needed help. I was actually asked to leave the hitting bay by one employee so someone else could test something. Really??? I was hitting the M4.I was also looking at several gloves that were available and there was some confusion on what was on sale... A female worker, 3 feet from me continued to fold shirts while another worker talked to her for 10 minutes while I stood there confused. I didnt get any gloves!.Next con is the PRICES. I didnt see any Deals. But I was willing to pay more than what the driver was worth if I could get help choosing the shaft. Without the service... all you have is the price... and its not that good for the most part.I guess if you are looking for a cheaper starter set, cloths or an umbrella... this place will do. Anything else... you might need to look elsewhere.I do believe this is the first review I have ever written on anything. I felt compelled to do so since this was such a bad experience.

The Tennis racquet selections were complete as well, however, when we were demoing some racquets at their tennis facility, they only gave us about 5 minutes when there were no people in line. Not a very good service, if you ask me.
