After a long day I needed some dinner so gave Glenville Queen a shot. Got the hot turkey sandwich which came with two sides. Food was good and hot, service was fast and pleasant. Atmosphere was typical diner and dated but clean. I would recommend

A fantastic, reliable place to eat. Their options are by no means limited, and the staff are friendly, welcoming and very hard working. Their prices are easy to work with and the food well worth what you pay for it.

The food was delicious and more than plentiful. And the service was friendly and right on time. A WONDERFUL time was had by all with 13 ordering brunch and not 1 complaint.

On a recent visit, we were not impressed with this diner. We have been to several good places, but unfortunately this was not one of the good ones. The waitress was not friendly, although the hostess was. We had asked for potato salad instead of French fries. The food came out with French fries. We had told the waitress the error and she brought out mediocre potato salad. I had asked for a Togo container to put half my sandwich in, because of the size. She then told us that if we keep the French fries we would have to pay for them. We didn’t touch the French fries and they ended up throwing them out, what a waste of food. I don’t get it!!! Her tip reflected her attitude. Probably won’t be back!!! Wouldn’t recommend, if not the food, definitely the service!!

Was looking around the area and came across this awesome place. I had the Monte Cristo which was fantastic. They have a great menu and the staff were great and friendly. Highly recommend it

Just moved to the area and decided to give the diner a try as we had passed it now a couple times. So glad we did, Our burgers were cooked perfect to our request. Staff were friendly and inviting. We took home a couple slices of peanut butter chocolate pie that I can only imagine will as the waitress said put me in a coma LOL be back soon.....EDIT....Y U M try the pie

Great experience for a local diner. Stopped by for breakfast with my wife. We both got the queen special. Pancakes were soft and eggs were just as we ordered them. Would definitely stop by again.

My family and I have been going here for years and we’ve always been having a pleasant experience all the time. Great atmosphere, friendly staff, and delicious food. My mother likes the Eggs Benedict, and I love the pancakes here. They are so soft and yummy. We’ll be trying to make more trips back here.

Short wait time, fast service, very good food. My husbands fish was battered on site, myself was juicy and flavorful, chicken clubs bacon was crispy while chicken juicy. Side salads were huge! It was our first time but not our last!

Honestly the food was mid tier in comparison with their price. They were very, very busy at the time we went and our waitress did make fun of my brother for not knowing what he wanted which frustrated both myself and my brother. We ended up sat right next to the kitchen door which lended itself to an unnecessarily loud breakfast experience. My personal opinion? Go somewhere else if you can.

Food was just okay the breakfast sausage was damn near raw when I got it. Very disappointed. But only try again if the meal was free or slash on the house

Have been to the Glenville Queen many times in the past 40 years. Have never been more disappointed. I could have overlooked a lot but the managers rude attitude at the checkout made that impossible.

Food was excellent to begin with. I went for brunch with my daughter, her boyfriend, and my grandson. It was about 1pm in the afternoon on a Saturday and the place was packed. I had a Monte Cristo sandwich, my daughter had corned beef hash and eggs. Her boyfriend had an American burger and my grandson had pancakes and sausage from the kids menu. I will say the prices are much higher than most diners Ive been to. But, the portions are much bigger too. The kids pancakes were 2 pancakes the size of a dinner plate with a link of breakfast sausage the size of an Italian sausage link you would get on a hero. The Monte Cristo was not a closed sandwich, it was open faced using very thick sliced challah bread, a side of seasoned fries, and coleslaw. It was all I could do to eat it all and it ended up being my only meal of the day as I remained full all day. Everything was cooked to our specifications and all came out together fresh and hot. The server was very busy, but was friendly and as attentive as you would expect with that kind of business that they had. We enjoyed our time there immensely and would definitely go back. I think they could cut their portions down a little. Lower their prices that way and still do one hell of a great business if not more. A very positive experience.

First time here and worth writing about! We had breakfast.... my husband had eggs Benedict and he really enjoyed it. I had eggs, Canadian bacon and home fries. Everything was delicious, fresh and hot. A bit pricey but not too high compared to what you pay for fast food at a drive thru somewhere. Also the environment was homey and clean. Our waitress, Deborah was attentive and did a great job! Would definitely return

The food was good Depending on what you ordered. The chicken and biscuit was delicious. The seafood dinner was good, but the eggplant and chicken parmigiana was a bit overcooked and burnt and the sauce was very dark. Would not order it again. But they have great customer service

Disappointed with going here. The food was bland, my Eggs Benedict had no real flavor to it (the Hollandaise sauce tasted like skim milk). The look and atmosphere of this diner seems to be trapped in 1997. The price and the staff was fine, nothing outstanding. I live right next to the location and now I want to look for a better place to have breakfast.

Have lived in the area an always seen this place but never stopped in. Decided to take my family there for the first time. All I can say is its my new place to eat. The setting alone gives you a home like relaxed feeling. The food was beyond delicious!! An for the prices you actually get alot. The icing on the cake was the service. Our waitress Emily was an absolute sweetheart. She gave us the best service we been given in a long time an so polite. Definitely looking forward to taking my family there again soon.

Second time I have been in here and both times have been pleasant and not had an issue. Waitstaff was friendly and it is pretty clean in there for a diner. I got Jennys bennys for my breakfast and it was so delicious. Definitely recommend here for their breakfast.

Just Left The Glenville Queen Family Restaurant. Unfortunately I wasnt able to eat due to not being Seated and Ignored by Mutiple Staff. Im hoping its wasnt because of Race.

Love coming to breakfast here. Very fast service. Prices are reasonable and the dinners are also very good with a really good size menu or choices. The parking lot is next to a target so there is plenty of spaces and its a nice stop after some shopping.

My family and I love going here. Very friendly and quick wait staff. The food is just like home cooking.

Pretty disappointed with my take out order tonight.I should have checked it before I left but everything was in tied bags.My son got the lumberjack which the menu says comes with pancakes but he got french toast instead. He hates french toast.I got a side order of mac and cheese for $7.29 but it was so tiny.. More like a $3.99 size.I live too far away to go back and have it corrected. Such a bummer.

Please dont come here and waste your money on disappointing food. Had the pot roast but it was served with way too much crusted(old) brown gravy. Most of the food, atmosphere, and service was unacceptable as it reminded me of a nursing home! The food was WAY TOO BLAND!!!Highly disappointed and the people who went with me were also highly disappointed!Im way too young to eat nursing home food. Only good food was their French onion soup.

This diner is my go to for breakfast on a weekend morning. The menu is almost always the same but that is what lends to its charm.I cannot attest to any lunch or dinner items but breakfast foods are always great. The staff is always the same so you can feel the family atmosphere of the employees.

With a large menu and friendly staff, youll be sure to find something you might enjoy.However, prepare ahead of time should you be gluten sensitive. Also be aware of their prices as a two person meal can run you $35 -$40 before tip. Yes, that would be for your breakfast omelets and coffee per person. Budget appropriately as they are steep on prices. Yet, if diner food is what you want, then diner food is what you will get.Overall, three thumbs up. Worth a visit! 👍👍👍

This place is ridiculously expensive for breakfast for no apparent reason. Their food is massively mediocre. Staff satisfactory. Dont go here for breakfast its just not worth it. Omlette and a breakfast sandwich cost me 30 dollars and the order was wrong. Ive had food here so many times and always say how expensive it is for no reason. This was the last straw. Wont be going back again.

It’s to bad that the poor attempt from management couldn’t help. “We don’t do breakfast specials at night” was what i was told. I wasnt looking for a “breakfast special” just the price the reflects what’s on your menu. A $13 difference for practically the same thing down the road. I had a hard time paying this, I did because I didn’t want the server to not get a tip. I have been here several times over the years, but I will not be back. Always check your receipt.

I Went for dinner. The Macoroni and cheese was over cooked. Squash was over sweetened. Coleslaw was the best part of the meal, and fish was meh.Breakfast and lunch is normally way better.

Great diner, friendly service, good food. They have a full bar and of course great homemade pies and other desserts. Fun specials like deep fried pickles are on the menu occasionally. There is a lot of seating area so large parties need not worry.

Our host recommended this diner while my husband and I were staying at the Grouse House Penthouse. The service and food were pretty good. My only disappointment was that my pot roast was a bit too dry. Im sure that was just one of those things. My husband enjoyed his food thoroughly.
