I got a new clutch and serpentine belt recently installed into my 2000 Toyota Camry. Derek was very helpful from the beginning giving me a quote beforehand and explaining the procedure. He had the lowest prices around and finished the job on time and the car runs great. He even checked in a week later to make sure the work hed done was satisfactory. They resurfaced my flywheel. Even though pins were stuck in there, they kept trying and got it out with special tools. It took some time so I was charged a small fee. Fair enough. It was worth it. They were nice.

AC&M did a clutch and Timing Belt on my 97 Trooper a couple years back, and I so satisfied with their work that when my Chevy Pickup Transmission started having trouble, I knew AC&M was the right place to go. Transmission work is expensive, so getting your moneys worth is important and AC&M delivers on that. I recommend them to everyone I know.

These guys are great! Derek is such a great guy! The clutch in my 98 Ford Ranger went out so I had it towed to Dereks shop. The truck sat for 2 months before I took it in and my rear driver side wheel wouldnt turn at all. We couldnt even get it off the tow truck. Derek came out right away with 2 of his guys and took care of me even though they were already busy. They jumped my dead battery and broke the wheel free in no time! Derek was straight forward with me from the time I first called until I picked my truck up all fixed. Hes down to earth and easy to talk to. Fixing cars and trucks is expensive but I was told what to expect and thats exactly what happened. These guys are awesome! They have worked on both my Honda Civic si, and my Lexus sc300. They diagnosed a problem with my clutch, replaced it with no hidden fees or drama. Just got the job done! Same with when I brought my Lexus in, it was in bad condition and he could have easily wrote a laundry list of repairs needed to fix my leak. This place is awesome! Just inherited by Grandfathers 82 Dodge pickup and had been trying to get my Dad to fix the original hydraulic clutch before it failed, but he couldnt find anyone reliable or knew how to address. Derek and his staff had it fixed in 1/2-day with a brand new clutch kit and it runs like its brand new. They even adjusted the brake and clutch pedal for free after it was broken in after a few weeks. This shop is just great !

Hydraulics for clutch failed in Seattle Washington on trip from Illinois to Vancouver British Columbia and towed here. Best luck ever. I am very happy with Aurora Clutch and More. The old technician we use to use sold out to Pep Boys, who told me our work vehicle needed 1000.00s in repairs. I didnt feel they were being honest, so I asked around thru friends and was refered to Derek at Aurora Clutch. When he looked over the vehicle, all it actually needed was an oil change. My landlord has been using Auroa Clutch and More for years. She recommended to me and they have been great. Always have been honest and fair in prices. I have had big mechanical issues fixed and regularly do my oil changed with them. They are great at every level and will continue to use them as my mechanic. This is even if I move across the city.

Almost 2 years ago I had the clutch replaced. I selected them because of the location, positive reviews and good price. I talked with another couple garages I respect and they were looking at about 50% more in cost. Recently I had trouble in shifting gears. Since it was still under the 2 year warranty I called Aurora Clutch & More and they said they would look at it the following day (I called in the late afternoon). Turned out that they were not able to fix the problem without taking out the entire transmission - which they did. Along the way they ran into a number of obstacles because parts on the exhaust system which were in the way had corroded. So they ended up replacing other parts besides the clutch. When I went to pay, they would not accept any extra money. They would only charge me for the non-clutch related parts and a small amount of the labor time. They refused to change me any extra for all the time they spent due to the parts being corroded. They would not charge me anything for the pro-rated 21 months that I had driven on the previous clutch plate they installed. I was very impressed. The total cost ended up being around $200. The transmission shifts smoother than it ever has before.

I had Aurora Clutch & More do excellent work on my car a few years ago. Derek diagnosed the exact problem and fixed it for a very fair price. He also took the time to explain what was wrong in detail and answered my many questions. I have never been treated so well at an auto shop, especially considering I know nothing about cars.For the past month its been progressively harder to shift gears, Ive been having to push the clutch all the way to the floor before I can get into gear. Today I stalled trying to get from 2nd to 3rd, so I called to ask if I could bring my car in. After I described the problem, whoever was on the phone said it sounded like low clutch fluid. He gave me a quick tutorial on how the clutch hydraulic system works and step-by-step instructions on how to check & fill the clutch fluid myself. Sure enough, my clutch fluid was way too low and I managed to fill it without damaging anything, and now I can shift gears as smoothly as before. (Not that smoothly, but still.)I got a free education in car maintenance from a trustworthy shop - a less reputable auto repair shop could have taken advantage of my ignorance, charged me for labor & brake fluid, and I would have been none the wiser. Aurora Clutch & More didnt make a dime off me today, but they made a customer for life!

The clutch on my 94 Toyota went out. I got an estimate for $1800 from the place I usually go. i decided to trash my car as thats more than its worth plus I am moving abroad. Neighbor said that price was too high and to get a second quote. Googled Clutch+Seattle. Dereks place came up and silly me why did I not think of that before? I had work done by Derek back in 03. My roommate had his clutch replaced there too. I even had Dereks place in my phone from years ago.Called him, read off some of the estimate. I most appreciate his easygoing manner, like talking to a neighbor about the weather. The quote he gave was half the other one, and he had a spot open the next day. I drove it right down. I showed him the other quote and he translated for me - the other shop was throwing in a bunch of stuff that was unnecessary, to cover their bases. I just needed a clutch and a couple other things. I picked it up the next day. I did not even recognize the truck. It was like brand new. I appreciate that he took it for a spin to go get a part he needed. He used a good used part where available.Sorry if this review is a bit lengthy and convoluted. I have been composing a brilliant piece of literature for the review as I was and am so happy that I went to Derek. Now I just need to get it posted ASAP to say thanks; other than homemade baked goods and piles of cash I cant think of any other way to thank him incessantly for my having a truck to use during my last months here.Really all that need be said is-Go See Derek. There is no need to go anywhere else for your clutch work.
