Under new ownership, this was my first visit. The service was good but took a little while. Their website is not operational, so perhaps they are working to get the business rolling in good fashion.

They did a great job they werent wearing masks but the guys who work there are very nice and they have rocking chairs CV in the lobby, Im new to Sedona and I like this place for more than just an oil change think Ill be back for other issues I have! Kind ccv of a neighborhood feel♡

This companys run like good old old school businesses. You deal with the owner, and he makes sure everything is perfect first customers. Youll find the owner, Jerry or his right-hand man and general manager Jesus. Both of them will take great care of you and get you in and out. Thanks for making my vacation in Sedona super easy and taking care of my oil change on my bus generator. Ill see you guys when Im back town!

This was our first oil change on our new ram promaster camper van. They were extremely helpful in explaining the value of synthetic vs normal oil in spite of being very busy. We greatly appreciated their help and fantastic service. Absolutely recommend. Not to mention the rocking chairs in the office were very comfortable to wait in. 5 stars!

I visited Sedona Oil & Lube to get an oil change today and the guys working there were awesome. They were fast and efficient but also fun to talk shop with. Its a nice place and if you need these services while in Sedona, I highly recommend them.

These guys took care my truck when I was on a road trip. Very reasonable prices, and fast work, I was in and out in under one hour. All fluids topped off and tire pressure checked. They will let you know if your car needs anything else but they do not push a sale.

We have taken our truck and car her for a few times. I just called to ask what our starting mileage was when they last changed the oil. I told them I take full synthetic but the guy said their synthetic is only 10% synthetic and the rest regular oil. What? But their price is up there as a full synthetic price. I wont be going back. Might as well go to the dealer in Flagstaff. I have lived in Sedona for 30 years. Been thru many owners and they used to be very honest.

Jerry and Big Red are the NICEST, MOST HELPFUL, PROFESSIONAL, AND BEST mechanic team I have ever encountered. My oil filter leaked on a trip to Sedona and they were able to get me in and help me out on short notice.I tend to have negative experiences with oil and lube places and, like many other women, often get taken advantage of.Jerry and Big Red treated me with so much respect and were such genuine individuals. I am considering going up to Sedona Oil and Lube for my regular oil changes!!!Thank you, Sedona Oil & Lube.

Went in for an oil change and they found some damage. They encouraged us to take the car to the dealership as soon as possible. Did not charge us for their time and helped us understand what was wrong with our vehicle. Very friendly and helpful!

Got my diesel van in right away as soon as they opened. No make an appointment for next week nonsense like the other guys. Great job!

Friendly staff and incredibly helpful! Ultimately unable to perform the service needed due to make and model of my vehicle but staff was very informative and assisted in providing recommendations and referral for another local mechanic who was able to help. I would definitely come back another time for other service.

Great service! Super quick & convenient! We were in Sedona on vacation visiting family and needed an oil change so we stopped in on Saturday morning and were told about 20 minutes, it was done within 10 minutes. Highly recommend!

100% recommend Sedona Oil and Lube if you’ve got a problem you need fixed quickly. I stopped in (without calling first) as my rental car kept throwing up the coolant warning light. Jerry (the owner) was able to sort me out and send me on my way in a little less than 10mins! Great service and a great guy. I really appreciated him helping me out so quickly!!

I have used their services twice now when I traveled to Sedona from phoenix. I have felt very well taken care of and they have not pushed me to get anything I don’t need. Quick and honest shop. Last time I was there I had smoke coming out of the car, which they figured out that the oil cap wasn’t placed correctly and needed a bit of engine wash. The owner didn’t even want to charge, checked all around. As you can understand it is very frustrating when you have car troubles on vacation. These guys made everything easy and quick and super budget. I don’t think I would ever go someplace else, especially in an emergency. I highly recommend this shop.

The owner, Mike, is very honest and up front about what your vehicle needs. As a female, I hate when mechanics act like I know nothing and just hand me a list of services needed with no explanation. You can tell Mike knows what he is talking about and he gives it to you straight. He will take you under your hood, and show you what he recommends, and what should be prioritized. I also love the free fluid checks between oil changes.

Thankfully, this place does not reflect the great time my wife and I had in Sedona. My wife took our vehicle in for an oil change. She said the service took about 5 minutes. Worst of all, she could not believe how rude the employees were. One of the mechanics she met, appeared to not know how to speak, let alone have any customer service skills. Would not recommend to anyone.

I recently moved to Sedona, and was impressed by the outstanding service from Jerry as being a fellow Chicagoan. When it was time to get the next oil change on my simple 2016 Chevy, I was out of town, and the Valvoline company was not only rude, telling me immediately it was going to be expensive (before I even got out of the car), but they wasted 2 HOURS of my time, only to tell me that they couldnt do it because someone bent a bolt at my last oil change. While I wasnt calm, Jerry put me at ease, explained completely why I was taken advantage of, and within the time he had explained, the oil change was completed. I will NEVER take my car anywhere except for Sedona Oil & Lube.

Highly recommended. They took us in immediately and were done promptly. The fellow who did the work was highly knowledgeable and took the time to put on my new wipers before we left. Good people and a great experience.

Best oil change in sedona

On my way out here to Arizona from California my check engine light came on. So when Monday came I pulled into Sedona Oil and Lube parking lot and asked for help. They had no problem checking it out.Very friendly and explained everything.I would and will recommend the place to everyone.

We were on a road trip from MD and our Mini was in the need of an oil change. Jerry and his staff took excellent care of us and made us feel like they were our local trusted mechanic. People and service is what really makes this place so great. Next time we are road tripping, Ill plan to make to stop at Jerrys shop!

Did a great job and no oil drips after the oil change :) However, they advertise name brand oil Pennzoil, Castrol & Mobil 1 but used some off brand called Service Pro oil in my car. Be sure to check exactly what oil they use before service.

Want to get hounded at the gas station by the owner, Jerry Allen? This is the place to go! Dude can’t take “no” for an answer as he literally cornered my partner while trying to get gas telling her that she should visit his shop, even after she told him we’re from out of town and not interested. Hint for better business? 1) Learn to take “no” for an answer, 2) Stop letting your ego get in the way.

I really like the convenience of having a oil and lubes place in Sedona. They are pretty nice also.

The employees were very personable and you could tell they cared about getting you and your vehicle whats needed. The owner was there, and is quite often, which is always a good sign. He was very personable as well, and took the time to completely explain the status of my car. As a first time customer, they made sure I was taken care of, and even given a little bit of a break to help the notion of me coming back (which I most definitely will be). I wont be going anywhere else in Sedona, especially since I have had a bad couple of experiences with Big O.

Jerry and the guys have a great RV bay, with plenty of turnaround room across the street. Super nice, even refilled my empty windshield washer bottle for me! No pressure, great service. Not too far into sedona so you can get service without handling traffic.

So difficult to believe the reviews. This is one of the worst oil change and businesses I have ever been to. I parked and got out of my car, and the mechanic was looking at me up and down, making me feel so uncomfortable. The guy in the shop was so condescending, and made me feel like I didnt know anything about cars. As a women, I had the worst experience here. They just seemed to be so creepy.

I waited until the last minute to get my car checked out for a long trip. Jerry got me in and out in 20 minutes. Checked everything, topped of all my fluids, popped in a new air filter and had me on my way. I dont think I have ever had an easier time getting my car taken care of. Wish we had a Sedona Oil and Lube in Florida! Thank you Jerry.

Relied on online recommendations and found this gem. Met locals while we waited on front brakes being fixed who swear by the firm. No attempt to upsell us. Great staff

I have to say, I was impressed with the quality of their work and customer service every step of the way. Bobby, my mechanic, worked tirelessly (excuse the pun) to fix my 1991 honda accord. He was very informative and kept in good contact with me to make sure that I understood what he was doing and why it was important. I walked away from the experience extremely happy with the work he did and even happier with the customer service I was given. But wait, theres more! Not only was Bobby professional, timely, and friendly, but they offered great prices and were willing to work with me to ensure that it was affordable. I cant recommend Sedona Oil and Lube enough.

Great guys. They do much more than oil chamges

They said cabin and air filter would need to be changed next service. Being proactive I decided to change them on my own afterwards same day. When I changed them, it was obvious the had not looked at either filter. Screw required to look at air filter was rusted shut. Cabin filter was in dire need of change.

They helped me out in a jiffy and didn’t even charge for it! Love them.

Two stars because the mechanic is good. Jerry however is NOT HONEST. Ladies watch out and check your owners manual before buying his recommendations!!!! He got me for 3 pricey unnecessary services as confirmed by 2 Subaru dealerships after the fact. Lots of BS coming out of ol Jer... And he bashes Sedonas bread and butter tourists and snowbirds repeatedly in his waiting area. Ya... expensive lesson but he wont get my regular oil change business any more.
