This place is better than Starbucks and Im a starbucks fan but THE BIG BEAN is better. Yep Ive tried it 3 times, consistent, nice and great customer service. They have reasonable prices. I tried the Sweet and Healthy smoothie. A Carmel Frappuccino, and a Strawberry Fruit smoothie and a Banana Nut Bread muffin. You wont be disappointed! Worth a visit.

I really love customer service, its quick and nice to people. They making drinks really fast and theyre drinks doesnt have too much sugar which makes it really different and nice. If i will compare their coffee to Rise up coffee or Starbucks, their coffee less sweet and more natural flavored. This place also offers delicious snack and cookies, which you have to try if you will be there!

The Americano slaps. My kids always ask a minimum of 1000 questions about the baked goods and always end up getting something else they didn’t ask any questions about. I figured the least I could do was give them a good review for the patience with my children.

Not a big fan of their mocha, but every else here that I have tried is good! The muffins are so good and they even have vegan and gluten free pastry options! They are also really friendly to the people on the trail, putting up heaters in the winter and happy to give runners water(sorry if we were inconveniences)

Wonderful wonderful coffee shop. My new go to in the mornings. Staff is cheerful and everything tastes quality. Big Bean is one of the few coffee shops that doesnt rely on teenagers, being paid minimum wage. The staff is professional, curtious, and cares about getting your drink right. I would choose Big Bean over Starbucks or Rise Up any day.

I have visited Big Bean a handful of times and Ive always had a positive experience. The coffee is always wonderful, the espresso based drinks are superb, and the food is right on par. The staff is always friendly and willing to listen to whatever funky version of a drink you come up with. Parking is the only downside here. The lot is small and its shared with other businesses, which makes it hard to maneuver vehicles. Regardless, dont let the mild parking inconvenience deter you from stopping in. Youll be glad you did!

A small, friendly, independent coffee shop that actually makes great coffee. Wouldnt it be great if you could say that about every independent business? Right off of the B&A biking trail, so its perfect place to go for a run or a bike and then stop in for a coffee. Tables in the back are a great place to sit and watch the world go by.Im so pleased there is a place like this in our town.

Wish I could give zero stars. Almost every time I go in I am not greeted by the management. They are usually rude and act like they dont have time. Last time I went for coffee the barista was on the phone and was extremely short with me. Also I dont find that the college aged employees are rude. Just the upper management. The experience is defiantly not worth the coffee or the ridiculous prices.

For a more personal, community - oriented cup of joe, The Big Bean is a hidden gem in Severna Park. Such a lovely coffee shop, great staff; the coffee & tea drinks are amazing. They even have loose leaf tea and will brew it there for you. Prices are reasonable. Pastries are outstanding and always fresh - and have all kinds of options. The shop is very community / civically minded, and supports the local community in many ways. Note that finding a place to sit indoors is a challenge - I suggest the tables and chairs in back, as the shop buffets the B&A trail. A wonderful way to spend a relaxing weekend morning!
