I called Darla to ask if she had ever tailored a mens suit for a woman before, and she said she had not but she was up for the challenge. I liked hearing that. I brought it in a month before the wedding, which I knew was cutting it close, but she still respectfully finished with a few days to spare before the wedding, just in case we needed last minute alterations. We did not. She killed it. It fit like an absolute charm and looked EXACTLY like my imagination was hoping for. I was also very grateful for the free steaming service she did on my suit. She said she could not in good faith give me the suit back with wrinkles, even though they were factory wrinkles and steaming is an extra service she provides. She told me more time was needed for better steaming and worried she didnt get them all out, but I saw no issues and would have happily paid for additional steaming if I did. Within 5 minutes of leaving her storefront, I ordered the same suit in a different color. When I got the suit, I reached out with my dates for another wedding, asked if she could swing that, and she said she could. Shes got my loyalty and Im psyched to have a tailor for all my future wardrobe projects. Shes a busy woman, you can see that, but she handles it in stride. She knows what shes doing and I look dang good because of it!

Darla informed me when I called she was booked up due to wedding season, but the alterations I needed were not a rush so I took them in. She was friendly, very responsive and took time to explain what needed to be done to alter my items. She finished them in the time she told me, and they were PERFECT! You can’t even tell she touched them! Being in business myself, I understand how one person can stay busy, but she was very timely and anyone that has a great business is worth the wait! Recommend her ten times over, and would give more stars if I could! Thanks Darla for being amazing at what you do!

I am the maid of honor in a wedding Oct 2, 2020. I took my dress to Darla middle of August. She told me it would be ready by mid September. She was happy I didnt bring the dress with 1-2 weeks till wedding. I was finally able to get my dress September 29th and it wasnt even steamed good, still had wrinkles. She told me the material wouldnt release the wrinkles, its Chiffon. She never called or text me to let me know my dress was ready. Heard the news from the bride. Had to go by a steamer to finish the dress myself.While she is a really sweet person, she seems to take on too much for one person. Then she told us she was doing alterations for immediate upcoming weddings. Over stepping our dresses to make more money in a hurry.

My main issue with Darla was that it was last minute alterations were made before my wedding. I came to her on August 10th and waited one month and half to get my dress ready, my dress was ready 3 days before wedding. I understand how busy she is, but my stress level was up to a maximum with not knowing if my dress will be ready. The steaming wasnt done well, very poor job on that. Expensive for the service I received. I was very dissatisfied and had to steam my dress myself so it will look better. I dont recommend because she is too busy and takes a very long time to complete her job. Go somewhere else, save your nerves!!!

Darla SAVED MY DAUGHTERS WEDDING GOWN!!!!! After taking a designer dress to another business in town for simple hook fix and coming out with my daughters dresss completely butchered cut up and uneven and fishing line used to sew wholes that actually ripped the tulle even more!! My little girls was devastated so we called Darla in panic she made time for us and budgeted her time very well with her other deadlines and still made time to save the dress! There was no doubt that she could fix the damage the other had done and she did! Priced very reasonable considering the amount of work that had to be done to repair! Darla had to work a lot of magic on my daughters prom dress. It was a 2 piece that she had to size down from a large to a small. It ended up fitting her perfectly! Wonderful experience with altering multiple prom dresses that needed bodice, strap,and length adjustments. Attention to detail was on point.

I brought in a dress about four months ago to be shortened. Nothing fancy, just needed a little off the bottom of it. I had called about a month and a half into to see if it was done and I got some story about how she has a lot going on with other customers. I waited another month or so to see if I can get it for my birthday, she had told me, shell try to get it done. She waited until late at night to call me to tell me i can pick it up right then in there before she goes on vacation. I was a sleep so I clearly didnt a get a chance to pick it up and when I called back the next morning I got no answer,l. I assume she was already out of town. I finally got a day off that she would be open. I was fairly disappointed that my dress was wrinkled as if it has been stuff and balled up. I didnt bring it in that way. Got the dress right off the rack in great condition when I brought to her. I wouldnt be making a big deal but she was talking down about another alteration lady for never having her dresses ready on time. I feel like thats a poor choice of things to say to a new customer and then be a hypocrite yourself. Bottom line, if you have something that needs to be done at a timely manner and still want it look nice as you brought it in, this lady is not the answer. Ill be taking my business elsewhere.... Its funny how you say you didnt talk about other peoples business but you had gone on and on about the lady who was trying to steal the name or have a similar name of your company. The fact of the matter is hold yourself to a higher standard before talking about someone else and take ownership of your faults. I may have gotten the time line wrong but point blank is you had the dress undone longer than how had described it would be. You seem very unprofessional with it all and I had called you the next day when I woke up. I had clearly made an effort showing how important the dress was to by calling, and if you couldnt get it done at a timely manner you should have spoken up.

By far best customer service, very prompt, & best alterations in sevier county. I will never go to another business again. I’m an A+ Alterations customer for life.
