Sitting on your porch sipping fresh brewed coffee and watching the sun rise or finishing your day with some great decaf coffee and a few pieces of fudge from Mountain Brothers General Store. Check out the market next door for your food items and check out the chainsaw carvings with the latest bears.

BUYER BEWARE!! Staff has extremely poor customer service skills and is beyond disrespectful. Fell in love with an item, but sadly it was damaged. Asked staff if they had anymore, but sadly they did not. Majority of stores are very respectful to customers when asking if they offer damage discounts… HOWEVER this is NOT that kind of store!! They told me “This is not a flea market and out of the many people asking for discounts on their DAMAGED items, if they gave them all discounts then they’d be broke” So apparently they have tons of issues of having items damaged or broken and still trying to sell for Full Retail Prices!! They also informed me that “If I won’t buy it, someone else will” Expect to be completely disrespected and belittled the entire time your there even after putting the damaged item back!! I was taunted by staff with multiple disrespectful comments the entire time I was there with my family simply trying to enjoy our time in Townsend! I highly recommend you visit one of the other local shops in the area where the staff is actually friendly and has a store that isn’t constantly plagued with broken and damaged items.

Cute store with interesting product, but rudest workers weve run into all over Tennessee over the past week! Dont show up with only 15 minutes left to shop, and certainly dont spend close to $50 quickly so you can get out the door before 7 pm. Meanwhile theyre still harassing you to get out!!! Just a suggestion, post your closing times!!!. Especially on the big red neon sign flashing in front on the highway. Sad part its not worth it to come back and spend the other two or three hundred dollars were looking at but didnt have time to make a decision on!!!

Employees were very nice and the store had many items to choose from. They appeared to have many local items also like jelly and apple butter.

Great place to stop for food, all kinds of souvenirs, sauces, jams/jellies, cider. Probably find just about anything here. All of the staff were friendly, too. Easy to get in and out of with plenty of parking. Get some kettle corn, too!!

Great little store that sells just about everything I couldnt have ever thought of. The entire place smells amazing and theres a pretty large selection of interesting knickknacks and maybe the most beautiful wind chimes I have ever heard. Pretty much anything makes a great gift or souvenir. Definitely a wonderful place to stop at if youre in the area. Im not one to like little stores like this, or shopping at any store for that matter, but Id love to visit again.

This is a cute general store that has all kinds of items for sale. Including plenty of souvenirs and other items like hand made pottery. The staff was very friendly Its definitely worth taking a look!

Always a great stop on the way to Cades Cove, theres such cute small decor and unique finds. Have stopped here two years in a row and find something every year. The bears outside are $150 but super cute and wish I had grabbed one. They dont have an indoor bathroom tho, just porta potties on the outside

My wife and I were in Pigeon Forge over Memorial Day weekend and stopped into this store a few times since it was right in between our cabin and all the attractions. We bought various souvenirs while in the store along with a jar of their Zesty Peach barbecue sauce. We just cooked up a few racks and that sauce was to die for. Is there a way to order online? We will definitely be needing a few more jars!

Nice place to stop had alot of stuff. Staff were friendly. We got some jam and some chips and salsa which were great. I would recommend stopping in had alot of different item.

If you are heading to Townsend from Pigeon Forge TN this is a great little pit stop! During the fall they have the cutest decorations for you to take pictures. Check out the view out back and by all means ho in their quaint little store, they have a little bit of everything.

Nice little store we came last year had to come back

They have the best flavored coffee beans! You can take them home whole or grind them there. Lots of unique gifts, toys and foods. Friendly staff and very helpful. I have ordered from them online and very pleased with their service. We always have to go here when we come to Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge.

This shop is just a quick 10 miles from the hustle bustle of Pigeon Forge. The drive is very scenic and peaceful. There were so many nice items in the store to choose from ! The staff was very friendly and ready to answer any questions.

Several workers told me that my dog could come in and they were pet friendly, while the other half of the staff were complaining. This Store needs to get policies in order and place signs.....absolutely no signs posted anywhere saying no pets. Nor anything about service animals. Will not ever recommend or be back. There are a lot of pets parent that will agree. Ignorance is every where!! Also very RUDE unfriendly staff and owner!! I hope truly that ur momma didnt raise u that way. She would be ashamed!! Also they advertise Mayfield icecream but serve hershey

A huge selection of stuff from bbq sauces to candy to clothing and household items.

This place is so unique and has so many interesting finds. Their coffee selection is quite large and smells delicious. The one negative for right now is that their bathrooms are out of order and have to use the port-o-potties outside. Otherwise, definitely worth checking out!

We went to the Mountain Brothers General Store back in November 2019 and John helped us in picking out our carved wooden bear. Im writing this now (in November 2020) because a friend of mine is traveling to Gatlinburg this year and I told them to stop by Mountain Brothers! John had a lot of helpful tips on keeping the bear looking fresh and new especially in our Florida weather, and he went above and beyond in making sure the bear (and the Welcome sign it came with) was absolutely perfect for us. I wanted to come back to the Google reviews just to say THANK YOU to John and I hope you are doing well!

Nice little store had lots and lots of different types of canned goods and jellies and honey all types of pickled items which I just love and any other type souvenir you might want. the only reason I didnt do five stars is because the prices are reflective of resort area prices. Had the quarts of things like pickled okra pickled and blue cheese olives and pickled green beans been a little less I would have probably bought four or five quarts for gifts for Christmas but i just could not shell out eight to ten dollars a quart for things like this sorry. T-shirts were in the $20 range which is pretty normal for around here unless you go to the flea markets or some of the t shirt shops on the parkway.
