This shop is under new ownership/management. I was surprised that they have a deli in the shop. The New England Clam Chowder was wonderful - piping hot, and full of clams. The turkey sandwich was also very good. The service was quick and very friendly. I also had to try some of the ice cream. Yum! My friend had the chocolate chess pie, and said it was the best she ever had. Nice, flaky crust. We also enjoyed the chocolate covered strawberries. Everything was great. Well be back again soon.

Absolutely amazing! The best ice cream & pie my family has ever tasted! We are from PA & we’re in the area for an event & found this place one night & were beyond impressed with it. I highly recommend!

Dessert and ice cream selection is amazing! Love that the Shelbyville location still has the Cocoa Coconut Milk ice cream! This is my only option being gluten and dairy free!

We always have a great time at the Shelbyville Pie Kitchen. Its a great place to go out for dessert as a family. Their cheesecakes are the best!

Poor Service! Bought a $30 cake, all I wanted them to do was write happy birthday on it. Said I would have to come back later and make a second trip for something that would literally take 1 minute. One worker was already decorating cakes and the other did not have any current customers. Obviously they do not value their customers. Will not be back and I work right across the street. Very poor decision not to take care of your customer, and you wonder why you are not that busy.

The staff is always very friendly and accommodating and the food is always consistent. These are things that are hard to come by in a restaurant and I appreciate the service I receive at this Pie Kitchen location(which is why I will continue to give all the business I can to them).

The one star represents the one time I’ve actually been able to get in the store during business hours. The other 4 blank stars represent the times I’ve went during business hours before 8pm most and even before 7pm where they’ve closed before posted times.

Home Made Ice Cream-Pie Kitchen has a good selection of ice cream options as well as pie and cakes. I they offer outside seating and is perfect for an after dinner desert.

I hope their pies & cakes are good. Cause, their ice cream was the worst Ive ever had. I mean the worst!! A dollar ice cream from McDonalds would have been 10 times better. I would never go back for just ice cream thats for sure!!!!!! Disgusting!!!!

Talk about guilty pleasures! The ice cream is good, but the pies and cakes are fabulous. A little pricey, but worth it.

Actually the worst ice cream we have ever had. You know when your ice cream gets stuck in the freezer too long and it gets icy and freezer burnt taste? That’s what they serve. Every container is like that, and to make it worse they use all artificial flavors and colors. The strawberry is neon red... because it’s not real strawberry. It’s VERY over-churned and OLD. My husband and I both literally threw ours right in trash - which is saying something since we were craving ice cream enough to travel 15mins to get there. I know Simpsonville/Shelbyville area doesn’t have a lot is ice cream options but you’d be much better off getting a pint from the grocery store. Or get custard from Culver’s!

In the area from out of state. Let me say, omg! The oreo, the coconut almond fudge, the cake. This is a must stop along the way ice cream stop for us from now on. Homemade churned ice cream! No need to say more! The vanilla ice cream was delish too!

The products here are absolutely incredible! Ive never had great service here but it wouldnt keep me from going back; it would keep me from going out of my way for it.

In town to visit for the weekend and ended up here twice because it was so good!

Stopped there today and got banana ice cream cones for the family. Never been any bananas near that stuff. Never going back. PTOOOI !!!!!! Cant even describe the taste.

Awful!!!!!!!!!Ice cold soup, literally...took over 30 min for group of 4 to get sandwiches. 2 workers only 1 working, dude was counting cups instead of helping. Sad Bc we love this place.
