Buy alot of games here. Love this place. Workers are great. I took 2 stars away because my last visit was horrible. Charged us more than there advertised price and when i brought it up, the game stop employee was rude and made excuse and then was talking to a friend in the store. After waiting 10 to 15 minutes my frustrations had me walk out having had paid more than i should. Very disappointing. I now have to find a new location to go to. Couldnt be bothered to remedy my situation.

I got Miles Morales ultimate edition pre-owned and it didnt even come with a code for Spider-Man remastered. Now I have to pay and extra $20 to get it.

Staff is respectful, polite and so very helpful. They go above and beyond to make sure they can get you what you are looking for. I would have given them 5 stars but their only downfall would be that it is a smaller gamestop and they do not have systems, controller, etc in stock. They will find it for you, order it and they usually give you a discount or something like that for the inconvenience of it not being there. So besides that little issue, its 5 stars all the way. Ill have them order whatever I need before going somewhere else, just to keep dealing with the employees there.

Theres a reason game stops are going out of business in this store exemplifies it two boxes on the shelf both show new and pre-owned in stock however when I got to the register neither one were available very disappointing just order online from Amazon much easier

Staff is always super friendly and very knowledgeable about a majority of the stuff they sell, even if what you are asking about isnt really their bag. Prices are high, but it is a brick and mortar store, so they have to make up for that somewhere. However some things are prices high lingers than just about anywhere else, even other brick and mortar stores.

Bought a used joycon for Nintendo switch and it stoppped working two months after I bought it and GameStop only warranty it for one month unless u buy the warranty for a year.. they couldn’t help me at all.. it’s like u forced into buying a warranty.. if you don’t back your used products and inspect them properly you shouldn’t sell used items. GameStop is a rip off and should be put out of business for taking advantage of gamers

HORRIBLE. HORRIBLE. HORRIBLE. I waited in line since 6 am when the pre order for ps5 was available and I was PHYSICALLY the 3rd person in line and NEVER left my spot. But because 4 people put their chairs, and left their spot and property they were able to get the pre orders and we did not. Unacceptable! And one of the workers in the plaza who has access to camera footage came up to the line and told them the ones who left needed to go behind us because we NEVER LEFT THE LINE. But of course gamestop gave in to them making a scene. I have called corporate because it is completely unfair and how they treated the situation was awful.

Very good. The staff was very helpful but unfortunately they didnt have anything I was looking for and I forgot the guys name but he was awesome.

This place is much better then the derby location, bigger more section and friendly staff, the manager Jesse took care of me and my wife today and was an extreme help and really went out of his way to help us out. Was able to use my rewards and find the best deals without a sweat broken. Kudos to this young man. I will keep returning and spending my money here. Keep up the fine work ethics Jesse.

A wide selection of games, good deals, and the employees are all very nice. Rarely do they harass you about stuff like memberships here and they are very understanding of when something goes wrong with a game or system and are happy to offer you a full refund or a replacement free of charge.

One of my favorite stores.. more than just games. Collectibles and Pokemon cards too. Plus the staff here is cool, so its a chill spot to just hang out and talk too.

This is hand down the best Game Stop Ive ever been to, they are very helpful and they know more than any other Game Stop Ive ever been to. This is the spot to go, I always get preorders here, theyre the very best and kindest staff of any store. Love, love, love shopping at this location.

Beware of a young man/girl named Will. Extremely rude refused to honor prices on gamestops website and when asked for a reason why told me to leave the store and go to Derby. I knew it was going to be an issue when i walked in she did not greet me then when i walked to the counter she he pretended not to see me lol. What a joke hands down the worst customer service ever Will or whatever your real girl name is you should be ashamed of yourself and by the way you look like a girl your not fooling anyone with your name tag William...

The GameStop in Shelton, CT is excellent. Ive always felt like this specific location is very casual, dont feel pressured into buying things I dont want or need. Theyll ask, they have to, but theyll leave me alone if I say no, and Im not badgered if I say no to a pre-owned game. I will buy pre-owned, but certain games will always be new purchases for me. Additionally, I was there, earlier this week, to buy a Nintendo Switch, and the two young ladies that helped were fantastic. The only other location that I will go to is Stratford, but Shelton is my first choice. The parking lot is always clean, the wheelchair ramp is next to GameStop, the sandwich shop next to GameStop is excellent, so going to this specific location is great, lots of other shops and food options within the same shopping center.

Sheltons best place to go get your video games and consoles!! Soo nice to have one right here in shelton! Plus its one of the nicer and bigger ones!

Its a Gamestop so they have new and pre owned games, gaming consoles, accessories, plushies, t-shirts and hoodies, etc. I do have a closer gamestop but I chose to go to this one since its always well stocked, very clean and well kept and the staff. The staff knows there products, very helpful and take the time to help out customers not ignore them.
