Cute big store with good prices... but if youre a couple shades too brown like me, youll get profiled and followed in an obvious sort of way very closely (literally turning around and almost running into her) by one of the staff around the store. Wasnt the first, wont be the last. 2/5.

This thrift store is great and well organized and the people that work there are very nice! Their book collection is amazing, even organized by genre and in alphabetical order!! Its amazing like a used bookstore!! Definitely recommend and will be going back many times!

The best thrift store in Shelton! There was a lot of great quality for low prices, and the checkers are very nice and give great suggestions. Felt safe knowing they were still asking for masks, as the area is not adequately vaccinated.

I love this store! I travel to Shelton for one month almost every year, and Nifty Thirfty is a must stop place for me. At least three to four times before I leave. So many hidden treasures!

Daughter & I went there for 1st time and loved it. All their clothing and stuff were really great and the prices are awesome. Will definitely be going back to do more shopping.

Friendly people fun store! Lots of great vintage things.

We found a lot of little hidden gems. It looks small from the outside but we still spent almost an hour just looking through all the little vintage decor items and clothes. Left with 2 pieces of wall art, 6 candle sticks, blue mason jars, some crystal items and spent less than $50. Id call that a win.

After donating here for four years and referring others to donate their entire estates to this thrift shop, I can no longer support Nifty Thrifty. It is unfortunate because it benefits seniors. However, the staff has been so rude to me with regard to donating, that I will NEVER donate to this charity again.I found out that Turning Point domestic violence shelter here in town is more than happy to take my donations, it serves a wonderful purpose, and I won’t be attacked trying to do something for someone else.

Good thrift shop, good variety, reasonable prices, kind and helpful staff

I misplaced my keys and the staff looked everywhere for me and even checked the cameras and found were I missplaced them. They saved me hundreds of dollars in towing and locksmith charges.Thank you all for your time and understanding. Richard

I needed to update my review. They have a lovely new woman working in the book section, which makes coming here to browse for books way less stressful and I can feel more comfortable. This is a hidden gem of a spot to come look for books and other items.

Creating their own face covering rules, instead of following governors mandate. Governor clearly states many medical exemptions from all face coverings and clearly states that the businesses cannot ask. Was in the store today and saw a woman being treated very rudely because she had a medical exemption. They demanded that if she did not wear a mask then she would need to where one of their face coverings (a shield) which she would then return so another customer could use as well. The governors order provides the medical exemption from face coverings for medical conditions - a face shield is still a face covering; therefore, they are harassing customers and not honoring the governments orders. You can read the governors direct words about this on coronavirus.wa.gov and then download the governors order to businesses.

Great place to get stuff for crafts. Lots of sewing patterns old but new. Also has lots of other stuff to choose from old and new.if you like antiques they have them too. Shopping there helps the senior center with food, groups and other stuff right here in Shelton. I love shopping here. The workers are so nice. If you spend so much you can be entered into that months drawing for $25. to spend there at the store. Stop in and check it out.. Im sure youll find great stuff here.

Ive always loved Nifty Thrifty. Its a great place to find books and kids clothes. Theyve always got some kind of sale going on. You can get a great deal on furniture and clothes.

Always a great experience there

I was not aware when I went in that this store didnt have any kids stuff, except for a very small section of childrens books. They have a rocking chair sitting right by then as well. My mother was looking for supplies for her art projects so I figured Id let my 2 year old son pick out a few books. The first time I walked him over a woman walked out of a little office and stared at us. She was making me feel uncomfortable so I went to check on my mom. About 5 minutes later when I saw that woman was gone I brought him back over to try to pick out a book and the same woman came over and stared at us again. By this point my mom was in the book section browsing to so we just went to walk with her. My son was walking with me and he was being exceptionally well behaved and very patient. Especially for his age. As we were following my mom he pointed at two books and literally just barely touched them with the tip of his finger and the woman (who was still following us around and staring at us) told him in a very rude voice dont touch those books. To which my mother replied his mom is watching him. She said I dont want him pulling all the books out and messing everything up. I replied and told her Im standing right here, Im watching him and I wouldnt just let him do that. She rolled her eyes and turned around and walked off shaking her head. Id understand this if he were running around the store by himself but he was walking with me and holding my hand the entire time. He was not doing anything wrong. I like to support our local business but I will not be returning to nifty thrifty.

Great variety. Small building, yet arranging of products are great. Each Holiday, they decorate window and displays. Friendly and helpful assisting looking for an item

The staff and volunteers at Nifty Thrifty are all very nice people. They almost always know where to send you inside their store to find what you might be looking for. The prices tend to be on the high side sometimes, but most of the time are very reasonable.

Love this store! Its clean, well organized and the volunteers are very friendly. Their prices are fair and the selection is always changing. Would recommend this store to everyone.

I both love and fear this place! They always have the greatest original rock music from the 50s playing and it really brings back memories, but I almost Always end up spending money there after finding some obscure treasure that I just cant live without!
