The staff is Amazing at the Sherman TX location!!They usually have what you need in stock. If they dont have it, they can get it. The employees are always knowledgeable and friendly.But beware of the other patrons..... there are a ton of customers who are incredibly Rude to other customers and of course the employees.FYI:Beauty is only skin deep, but with a little makeup remover it might not even go past their foundation.🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣My suggestion is order and pay online for curbside pickup. The only problem there is the employees arent allowed to take cash tips for bringing you your goods. 🙄So please be nice and park as close as you can. Im sure they will appreciate it. 🙂

Went here with my sister to look for a item that I could not find anywhere else. They had it. It was something that my girlfriend got for me before she passed away in 2018. I lost the one she got me and was able to find it here. Love this place.

Had an appointment at the Ulta Hair Salon in Sherman today, I drove all the wayfrom Dallas, my appointment was with Lindsey for a cut, and color! SHE NEVER SHOWED UP!!!! When she called me last week, and rescheduled an appointment I had, she told me, I dont work that day,, but I can come in to do your hair! I will never go to another Ulta! Just a side note, there were 2 other stylist there actually doing nothing the entire 35 minutes I was waiting, and apparently they were booked up for the entire day, and weekend! When Lindsey did my hair last time she was doing mine, and another persons!!!! Bad, bad, bad customer service!

Ive been a member of Ulta for awhile and I love the options for any financial situation. The customer service was perfect, kind people and a lady named Lindsey gave a great recommendation, which I now love. Im new to eyeliner and she helped me choose a beautiful and amazing one and it was Ulta brand too! For covid-19 I couldnt find hand sanitizer everywhere, but there were protocols I could tell have been set in place well. I highly suggest the Ulta Brand Twisted Volume Mascara, it is the best mascara of all and for a great value. I will be returning for my necessities and trust the next new suggestion I get next!

No longer giving Sephora any money. Appreciated the atmosphere at Ulta and the free choice to wear or not wear a mask.

Great selection of numerous styles & product lines. Too name brands to choose from. This particular location has exceptional customer service and they always are polite & respectful which is hard to find in other stores & even a select few locations if this brand. But overall, great store.

I really wanted to love this Ulta; I love every other Ulta I’ve been in because of how helpful and kind the staff is, but this store in particular has some really rude staff. Obviously not all but: in January I was traveling through and was looking for makeup as I had become depressed and just needed a pick-me-up. When I went in, I kept looking for a salesperson to help me, and could find no one. When I finally received help, the staff member made me feel so poorly about myself that I went home and cried. She pointed out the worst flaws on my skin, without me asking her to; I had simply asked which foundation would be best for lighter coverage. I thought I would just let it go, but we came back to the store today and my husband also received terrible service. He has naturally curly hair and has been growing it out and he had asked if he could work with someone to show him how to style it. The first customer service specialist that talked with him was kind but she directed him to the salon manager, who then went on to tell him that she couldn’t work with his hair and that it would be a waste of time to come in to get help. He also left feeling discouraged and uncertain of what to do. In a setting that is meant to encourage self expression and self care, it feels like this particular Ulta has no desire to assist their customers in feeling comfortable and confident.

So many great items to choose. Perfumes and everything you could want. The employees were all very nice and helpful.I will be going back and buy more things. And get someone there to do my makeup.

The Sherman location is a disappointment. Time after time on this free gift with purchase there have been excuses as to why they dont have the free item. I was in the store yesterday and the associate and manager tried to tell me that I either didnt buy the correct items or didnt spend enough. When I pointed out that I, in fact had, the manager told me that it had been recalled and went on a tangent about they had pulled all the signs and would not release a dangerous product. After I had pointed out to her that there was a sign up on every shelf that totaled approximately 25 to 30 signs, she said well... what the heck?! Is this customer service? A couple of months ago, I went in for a deep conditioning treatment in the salon. The girl asked if I wanted a trim ....I finally agreed to it. She rushed through the treatment and gave me a heinous haircut. She proceeded to charge me 35.00 and told me she was charging me less.... as she tells me that Im her first client. I will NEVER return to the Sherman location of ULTA.Today which is two weeks later..I went to the McKinney location... it is FANTASTIC!! Very clean and organized. I asked the associate that checked me out about the free gift that I was told in Sherman was pulled by the manager... she said that I dont know why she told you that... its not true, we have them. I have not received a call from the company to explain why I was given false information... Sherman location needs to be looked into desperately.

I went in to get my hair cut and styled today. I have very short hair. I swore I would never go back to Ulta to get my hair cut again. It was never cut the same length on both sides. Its been a couple years since I last had my hair done there. So I decided to give them another try. I liked the hair cut. But its like no one knows how to style short hair. They shampoo, cut, then blow dry using the biggest roll brush they have. It looks like I just rolled out of bed. No height, no body. I always end up coming home and washing it again and styling it myself. Its like they dont know how to style short hair or dont want to put in the effort. She could have used a lot smaller brush to give it height and body like I do. Why arent they taught this in beauty school. She dont even attempt to use the curling iron which I dont generally use, but it would have at least made me feel like she had made an attempt. Oh yes, didnt get any hair spray either. Very unhappy. I wont be paying for a style next time knowing they dont know how to style short hair.

Very lovely! Love going in and they often have a great selection of inventory. Tonight I came in with a friend about 30 minutes before closing to quickly pick up some items and all the employees were extremely friendly! We were complimented upon entering and they all had wonderful moods! Our cashier Jordan was extremely helpful and was absolutely wonderful!!

I dont get to visit Ulta often since we dont have one in my hometown of Paris, Texas so when we go to Sherman I always try to make it a point to stop in and shop a minute. Today, 2 of the sweetest employees helped me find a winning mascara from Benefit (Bad Gal Bang) and a concealer by Catrice that I had been wanting to try. One of the girls mentioned she was also from Paris. They were so helpful and sweet. Thanks for having a friendly, helpful staff!! I would LOVE to work for Ulta if I lived closer!!! The best girls store EVER❤❤❤❤

First time I’ve been happy with my brows since I moved to Sherman TX. Hayley took care of me and she did exactly what I asked of her!! She is super friendly and didn’t mind that my three year old set close while the service was being done. I will definitely go back and will recommend others to her.

No one greeted us, my daughter is getting her hair cut and no one is speaking to her, I had to flag someone down to get help. The displays are a nasty mess.... if there’s even product where it’s supposed to be. Not to mention, they are CLEARLY out of dress code. And the lady who seems to be the manager (African American lady with long curly hair) seems to be the rudest and least professionally dressed of them all. I spend a lot of money at Ulta but will definitely be making different choices about locations from now on.....

Every time except one, I have been ignored by all the staff. I started to assume it was because of my age, but as I was chatting with a young woman in the store about being unable to get any help from staff, she told me they always ignore her too. That made me feel a bit better. Lol. I couldnt find the product I wanted, so I found one of the staff members to help me. She told me all the stock they had was already on display. Didnt know when the truck would be back with more. Declined to give me a rain check or try to accommodate me in any way, to be able to use the 20% off coupon before it expired. Needless to say she could not have been less helpful. I thanked her politely and left this store for the last time! I will not be going back there. I will be spending my money some where else.

My daughter got her eyebrows arched and tinted. She was seen right at her appointment time. The cosmetic station was clean and well lit. My daughter was able to see exactly what the technician was doing as she was doing it .... No bad surprises!

Usually have an excellent experience with Ulta, but today I had to deal with a cashier with a severe attitude problem. Tried to charge me full price for something that was on sale. When I told her it was on sale she rolled her eyes and acted like a preteen. If youre that miserable and have that much of an attitude problem, then you probably shouldnt work in a field where customer service is required. Thankfully her manager stepped in and fixed it. Ill go back, but i doubt Ill purchase anything while this girl is working.

I went in on 3/26/2017 to get my hair cut and styled... I saw the $75 promo for a cut and color.. I wanted to discuss that with the stylist that I booked. Her name is Lauren. I waited 30 minutes before I was even sitting in a salon chair. The lady totally botched my hair!!! Oh ya and the cut and color promo, we actually agreed to do it and then she forgot,,,, all she did was wash and cut my hair and then told me I was done.. she took a flat iron to my hair before it was even dry with NO THERMAL PROTECTANT!! It was ridiculous. The good thing is the general manager comped the services and I didnt have to pay for the terrible haircut.. but still I wouldnt ever go back to get my hair cut...

I never got her name but she had blue hair, she was super friendly and soooo helpful in finding a foundation that A) matched my skin color B) helped with the super oily skin I have C) acneI tried it this morning and omg I love it. She described it as wearing a clay mask and getting the benefits of it without the heaviness of wearing a real clay mask . It goes on so light matches my skin perfectly

We stopped in to Ultra to see what they offered for makeovers for young teen girls. We were happy to learn there are several options from just a free makeover on the store floor for a specific product or specific area such as eyes or there are makeup lessons for $30 per person. As a result, my daughter and a friend are getting a makeup lesson this Friday to kick off my daughters 14th birthday celebration! Shes excited and so am I!

Ive had two separate appointments where I had my hair and makeup done. The first was good the second was very disappointing. The salon is really hit or miss. I had my brows done at the brow bar and my eyebrows were plucked too thin and too short. The store is clean but dont expect much professionalism especially from the management.

Crystal did such a great job, I just LOVE IT!! I was desperately in need of a haircut, I walked right in and was seen immediately. Im very nervous about getting my hair cut at random places but I was desperate (my previous hairdresser quit doing hair). I figured anything HAD to be better than what I was currently dealing with (hadnt had it cut in about a year. It was super damaged; even thinning). Shes very nice and we had a great talk while she made my hair look like a million bucks. Seriously, I LOVE it. I have super fine, super straight hair and its like night and day, it looks amazing!

We went today to purchase makeup. stood at Clinique counter for 30 minutes without anyone asking us if they could help us. the store had a about 15 customers and not one single worker approached them to ask if they needed help. when we asked at the cashier they told us that everyone was in training for their grand opening this weekend. so their customers before the grand opening dont matter? wow not what I expect from Ulta. I would stay away from Sherman store.

I would give it a zero if I could. I was scowled at the moment I walked in the door. I had to go searching for someone to help and it seemed as if I was putting them out. Im from out of town and I love ulta but I will never go to this one again.

This store has alot of good products. The only thing I dont like about it is, they pat their employees down before they are a lower to leave. 30 minutes lunch and have to wait 5 minutes to get a manager to let you out. Its not right.

I had only been in Texas for a few months and my attempt at finding a good hair stylist has not been good. I decided to take a chance at Ulta. Kassy did a great job of listening to my concerns and expectations. She took her time with the color. My hair is naturally darker blonde but had some red in it. She was able to take out any trace of red and left me with a beautiful light ash blonde color. Kassy also took her time to fix a bad cut I had gotten elsewhere. I left feeling beautiful! I will definitely book with her again.

I had the pleasure of an Urban Decay Makeover today, what a treat. Cosmetics and its application has changed quite a bit over the years, so continuing education seemed appropriate. My makeup artist/specialist was a true gem. After learning of my personal complexion challenges she expertly chose each product, explained its benefits and began a tutorial of proper application. WOW! I felt empowered and most definitely beautiful when I walked out of ULTA, now easily my most favorite store. THANK YOU ULTA for making me feel beautiful and, yes, even desirable again at the young age of 52. I look forward to a long and lasting relationship with my new friends at ULTA. 💝

I will never darken the doorway of this Ulta again. I spend a lot of money in Ulta. Get 90% of my beauty products from here. Ive never been in an Ulta where I havent had excellent customer service. The girls that were working there sat up front laughing loudly and flirting with a man who apparently brought one girl her McAllisters lunch, which she laid on her makeup counter. After being ignored for 15 minutes my mother went to the front to ask about the straightener we came to purchase and the only help the girl standing behind the counter offered was, If it isnt on the shelf we dont have it. About 2 minutes after my mother asked about it she bounced her happy self around the counter to help the other young man who walked into the store. Maybe the key is to be a guy???

I wish I could do zero stars.My friend and I were ignored until we had to ask for help, Im sure due to the fact that they insinuated we were poor college kids and not worth wasting their time (because they finally stopped talking to each other and helped an older lady that came in right after us).The ladies were condesending when we asked questions of how to get a certain look, not understanding why we didnt know which matte lipstick was best or which eye shadow pallet was longer lasting- like its common knowledge....Finally, and most horrendous, were the comments made to my friend and I. (IE. we have great face wash to help with your acne, I do eyebrows at the brow bar- feel free to stop by- maybe sooner rather than later)Ive never felt so embarrassed, not even for myself, but for the women that work here. To work in customer service and be so disrespectful, I was very sad. I had great hopes for Sherman service to be better..... I will suggest to everyone to go to the Ulta in Allen before you go to that one, and they will never have my business again...

Horrible customer service! I have been in to this Ulta TWO times. The first time I was trying to get help on finding my color and good foundation and got a very very rude Hispanic lady that didnt give me the time of day and gave me something very very dark. Second time I went back to return it and couldnt get a single person to help me so I just had to leave. I ended up going to Kohls and they were amazing and helped me find my color which was porcelain not dark! I would NEVER recommend going to this ulta. Dont waste your time. Go somewhere else.

Went to get ULTA Sunday mid morning. It was nearly empty and no one was interested in helping me. I wanted to buy tarte shape tape and they were out of my colour . I asked one of the girls working there n without even looking she said oh we are out of it I asked if I could purchase online and she said it not in stock any where I asked if I could try a small sample to make sure I wont break out and they refused we dont give samples... I have gotten samples from ULTA beforeId have given it zero stars if I couldPathetic. Back to Sephora I go

I come to Ulta at least once a week and drop more than enough money in here to probably pay these girls rent for a year! Normally I get sweet little high school looking girls they couldnt be more amazing! This evening I got the worst possible customer service you could ever imagine! I was followed by a short fat Hispanic girl who thought her 💩 didnt 💨 let me tell you...... I will NEVER be back to this Ulta I will take my money elsewhere, sephora has more to choose from anyways. But I was watched as soon as I walked in like I was trying to steal something then followed and as soon as I picked up a test lipstick to dab some on my hand and then apply to my finger then to my lips I finally got someone to speak to me! She said ugh hmm... Can I help you? I said no Im finding everything OK thank you she walked about 2 feet came back and said just to let you know we are closing at 11 tonight. Which at this time was 30 mins away I said OK thank you! She walked 2 feet came back smirked, leaned into the mirror with me.... and said just to let you know..... I looked at her like she was crazy at this point and said again... Ok thank you.... Again I come all the time, I know their hours....then I look down at my 5 year old and ask... Wheres your daddy? (keep in mind its 10:30 we are the only people left in the store) he says Ummmmm IDK mom I think hes back here Ill show you and with her less than a foot away when I asked my son this she walked right up to my husband flipped her hair, asked to help him then turned and smirked at me!!! Not only was I ignored, I was shown great disrespect, she obviously had lack of common sense because this was the 1st time she had ever met me and would have known better if she had taken care of me because I had about $700 in products about to check out so my husband grabbed me and we went to sephora. WILL NOT BE BACK EVER

They wouldnt stop asking me if I needed help finding anything, and felt like every aisle I went down, someone was there to pester me. Make sure you keep your receipt! Because if the cashier doesnt ask you for your phone number, which enters the purchase into your purchase history in their system, you will get less than half price for the product when you return it.

Customer service was horrible. There was no greeting and they were not very helpful. Employee was just wondering around instead of asking customers if they needed help on anything she decided to go talk to her co worker. Very disappointing. We then decided to go to Sophora and it was completley opposite customer service.

Best place to get eyebrows done!

Came in looking for my favorite eyebrow liner, and it was out of stock. I looked around for a worker, thinking they could tell me when more would be coming in or if they had something comparable. No workers to be found. After walking around the store and seeing no one, I gave up and went to the counter to buy blush (that I can buy at Walmart for way cheaper). Imagine my surprise to see a worker standing behind the counter with her coat on and cell phone out. The time was 4:55, apparently it was 5 minutes till the end of her shift and that means her day is done? My cashier didnt ask me if I found what I needed, how I was doing, nothing. I normally shop at sephora but because of the price have tried switching to ulta. After several experiences like this at Sherman ulta, I think Ill stick with Sephora. Unprofessional workers and can buy most everything here at the drugstore.
