I love this store, however, the customer service is not bad just not good either, enough to make you feel some kind of way when you ask something and they kind of look at you for a sec and answer with no emotion at all...

It was my 1st time there. They do have some nice clothes. Will definitely be back. Cashiers need to work on the customer service skills. But overall I liked the store.

I hate to be the bad guy here, but as a ranch owner Orscheln’s is sorely lacking in customer care. Don’t get me wrong, their “home side” is darling, and they have a good selection of western clothes, but they need folks willing and able to help answer questions knowledgeably on the “farm” side.I’ve gone in about 5 times now needing questions answered, but left frustrated not able to find a sales associate. Today after searching for a long while, I found one and she acted like I was bothering her as she stocked shelves. Maybe I got it wrong and they truly are there solely to put away inventory?At checkout the sweet young gal asked me if I found everything? I told I had issues finding everything I needed and could have used more help. Crickets….I guess her question was a formality similar to, “How are you?” and they really don’t want an answer.Here’s the thing, Tractor Supply is helpful and there are always folks happily ready to assist customers in finding what they need. Sadly, Orscheln lost a good customer today.

Honestly my wife and I’s new guilty pleasure as well as animal needs store. It’s hard to not find something you need here. This is the only place we get food for our animals. They have everything we need at affordable prices. Gun selection is decent. Tool brands are good and the clothing section is very well stocked with good deals going pretty normally. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Love this place!

This is a friendly, well stocked store. Their customer loyalty program is super easy to use and if an item has an imperfection, they will lower the price for you. They also price match local competitors so there is really no reason to shop elsewhere.

They have a decent selection but it isnt the feed stores I grew up with.

First time there. Very friendly people. I can best describe it only by what I have seen before. So that means I would say it is much like a very very large Tractor Supply with even more items.

Gosh, I love this store and the staff is great but they really should close and hire an exterminator.Every-single bag of feed I picked up today had a hole where mice had chewed through. Some bags are taped up and discounted but I think I would rather purchase my feed where I know rodents hadn’t eaten a portion of it.Since there are also food products for human consumption in the store, this could become a serious public health problem.

Nice store, however even though its been 20+ years i still think of K Mart every time I go in here.

Was looking for an item on sale. One associate told me they were sold out of said item. Feeling dejected and disappointed I was heading out the store when another associate named Amber stop me and ask me what was I looking for. Lo and behold Amber found the item I was trying to buy. Have waited for a gun to clear for 30 plus days and then they wanted me to resubmit my app, there is not one reason it shouldnt have cleared except a Democrat is in charge now. Anywhere else after 5 days if it isnt a no you can pick it up but not orschelins, their policy is not until it clears, they must be Democrats, Im X DEMOCRAT but love the 2cd! I will never go to orschelins for anything again, their on my boycott list now, if your a Texas Republican you should boycott them too just to remind them Texas is Red, White and Blue!!!!!

I called 2 times the day before making SURE that they had a specific item since I am 80 yrs old and must find someone to drive me from Melissa to Sherman. After several, I am so sorry...no one could locate the item. Frustrated, I must wait to see if and when they will find another before 🎄 Christmas. You just cant wrap an Im sorry as a gift.

Great selection for home and farm. We had wonderful assistance in hunting for good mud boots. They had zero turn mowers, all kinds of feed, baby chicks, and so much more. Great location, easy to get to with large parking lot. Prices were also very reasonable.

I was tickled to death to learn Orschelns was coming to Sherman and I have not been disappointed! Great place to by hunting gear and my go-to place for wood pellets. Visited there again yesterday and everybody working there was very nice and helpful. I failed to get the name of the young lady working the front register but she went above and beyond. I had called up there the day before asking about availability of wood pellets. They did not have any at the time but she told me there might be some on one of the incoming delivery trucks within the next two days. She took my name & phone number. I had expected to have to wait until the second day to find out if more pellets were in fact delivered. I also had the feeling that I would never receive a call. I was pleasantly surprised when that young lady called after the first day and said the pellets were not on the truck and they did not anticipate receiving any more for a long time. She knew I was in a bind to get more when I called the previous day. Because of her great customer service I was able to go right on to Durant to buy almost all the pellets they had left. One more day of waiting and I would have missed buying any at all.

This store is nice store. The employees we encountered were all nice and friendly. The store has a wide variety of products. It covers a lot of different aspects of the outdoors. They also have household products and clothing. If you are in Sherman, stop by and do a little shopping.

Neat store similar to tractor supply but more variety. Good sales. Customer service a little slow if you need help at firearms section. We will keep shopping there.

What a great store! This was my first tome being in one. They have such a variety of things to sell, from clothes to horse bridles and everything in between, literally! The staff was helpful and kind offering guidance after my dog was sprayed by a skunk! They also have a self service dog wash which we have used before which was nice!

Love this place more every time I go! Selection is awesome and they have just a little bit of everything! I compare it to a cross between Bass pro and tractor supply and hobby lobby!! So cool!! 😂😂

The staff was extremely friendly and more than helpful. The ladies at the registers got us pointed to the exact area we wanted and the gentleman working in the back took the extra time to answer all my questions and offered useful tips and info that was very much appreciated. Will most definitely recommend people to come here. I know I will be back.

Melissa (asst manager) went above and beyond to help me with my issue. (A five year old battery with 84 month warranty AND no receipt). She resolved/over came where when I left Orscheln I had two new batteries and a smile on my face. Thank you Melissa!!

Really awesome place. I visit here when Im passing through sherman. Some times just to browse but most times for something specific for the Ranch. They have pretty much anything you could need ranch or farm related unless its big equipmentPrices are great and selection is huge.

Good place for general ag products. Some things that need to be sold in bulk that are not. But overall a wide variety of useful items

I love Orscheln. Their Sherman store is so nice, as are the sales associates. Just ran in today for a quick thing. Found almost exactly what I was looking for. I was disappointed that they didnt have mens gloves in a size small.

I wouldnt go anywhere else to get our feed for the chickens, any pet bedding needs and pur dog food. Not to mention the home improvement items!! The husband and I have spent more money on shoes here since they opened than anywhere else. They are amazing!!

Feed store plus. They carry lots of items for farm life, pet life and even welders life. Each spring they have chick days and have several bins of day old chicks. Staff is nice and parking is good.

All employees are extreamly helpful courteous, they go out of their way to make sure you have exactly what you need, if they are out of anything they find out when it will be in. The store is clean. When you tell the Manger that a bag is ripped, or some product might be in the wrong place it is taken care immediately without hesitation. They all great each and everyone with a smile and a hello. A very warm and homey store. I do 90% of my shoping there.
