I spoke with both these guys about a re-flash on my 19 Spyder F3. A real pleasure to speak with both of them. Very knowledgeable and unrushed. I sent in my Computer to go along with my Lamonster cat-delete pipe and K&N air filter. They performed the stage 2 so I sent in my Air-Lid as well. As soon as they received it they called me immediately. I paid them and they had it done and back to me by the end of business that same day. (outstanding)RESULTS: I just got back from a 100 mile ride so here are the changes I notice. STARTING is awesome with not having to hit the Mode button anymore..HOLLA! SMOOTHER: The motor is definitely smoother from idle all the way up. It feels about 40% smoother to me. (a bunch) THROTTLE: I hated the factory map. The first 1/3 of the throttle was pretty lame....not much there. That is HISTORY. The throttle pulls progressively and smoothly right from the first crack. Throttle response is therefore MUCH improved. Riding it makes it effortless to achieve whatever speed you want or pass with little wrist action. This ALONE is worth the cost! TORQUE: This is my favorite part. The Motor will pull effortlessly down to 2100 rpm! I do not intend to do that. I just listen to where the motor feels happy, smooth and with no vibration. I looked down a number of times and Im in the low 2Ks. (It was NOT happy there before) With smooth throttle application, it will pull from there and pass cars with little to no effort. Pretty amazing to me. I do run 93 Octane only. With a little more throttle through the gears....you are flat moving before you know it. The new Torque makes it effortless to ride. THIS is the way it should come from the Factory!!!! HORSEPOWER: When you crack the gas it is awake RIGHT NOW. If feels like about 20-25 hp increase. (a bunch) I did not even try to hit redline because you simply do not need to. !/2 throttle or a little more and your are FLYING right MEOW! I did an aggressive start like that and by 3rd gear I looked down and was at 80 and the Motor was just getting started! I said holy krap and backed out of it! I rode about 60 miles in the Country and the HP was VERY noticeable cruising 70-80 mph. The Motor was so much smoother and more responsive. With each little throttle input the bike responded aggressively. Before...at these speeds...the power felt soft and you really had to get after it to feel the power. No more. The motor thinks you are cruising at 50 and has a ton waiting on you. SUMMARY: The stage 2 Monster Tune from Wick-it Performance made my new Spyder a completely different machine. More enjoyable, much more responsive and therefore safer. With 2 up riding this would be a must IMHO. The guys tell me there is better MPG in the first 1/2 of the throttle and I believe it. It does not take much now to get moving and the smoothness factor indicates the Motor is VERY happy. Oh yeah....SHIFTING is smoother too! I forgot about that sweet bonus. Everything works BETTER. I can tell they really did their homework on this Tune and they nailed it perfectly. Give them Wick-It boys a call and put another 100% enjoyment into your sweet ride....Gene :)
