Maybe a little pricey but Im always willing to pay for first class work. They got the diagnosis right the first time, parts ordered and car repaired in under a week. Will be returning here for all of my work.

Pack rats had gotten into my air conditioning system. Believe me, it was not fun! Danny took the blower motor apart, cleaned it out and blew a scent through the system so that the packrats would not recognize their smell in it anymore. Extremely impressed with the repair approach. The mix of proven old-school “understanding” and the latest technologies was a perfect match. Their professional Instincts were on spot. 1st approach was any obvious damage. One small part and wires. The challenge was a 21-year-old VW TDI Bug (Turbo Diesel). Many years of carbon build up. This carbon blockage was debrided and all cleaned. However, error codes still remained?The professionals at AZ Auto Radiator referred to the system diagrams to investigate the puzzlement. After tracing down and matching the correct MFG design flow to the wire and vacuum systems, all codes were corrected.The final price was extremely low, for what was done. I would highly recommend their services.

I brought my truck in to have a problem with the ODB2 Port not communication diagnosed. Also to have the heater core leak checked. They found that the ODB2 port worked well on their tester. They also diagnosed a couple other leaks in the cooling system. They work was very professional and reasonably priced.

Well I got an $80 part for $230, charged for environmental handling when there wasn’t anything to handle, an evaluation (nearly) when I told them what the problem was. Wanted to sell me another $150 part I didn’t need for $450, blinker fluid included though. Plus they tried to get me to pay before I even looked at the work. Almost better off going to a dealer and knowing what to expect I suppose.I just figure to do it myself next time really, nothing is really all that difficult and you end up with a nice set of tools at the end for the next job.Maybe it’s just normal shop business but it’s not the way I do business.

My SUV had a part go bad about 5 minutes before they closed. They stayed and fix my vehicle so that I wouldnt miss my flight in the morning. 10 stars for them!! Excellent customer and vehicle service !! SALUTE!!!

My Cummins was towed here for extended warranty work on the engine. The shop foreman fully diagnosed the problem and found that problem to be an old recall that was not satisfied, eliminating any deductible and ensuring those responsible are accountable. All in all; this shop is looking out for the customer.

I needed a transmission flush and my check engine light came on the day before. I explained that my engine was idling rough and the mpgs had gone down lately. After they researched the codes, the recommended going to the dealer for a software update on my ecm. Turned out there was a recall for the software... Everything is good to go now. Ive always appreciated their honesty and integrity. Not many shops left who are that way. Thank you for all that you do for your customers!

I was in your shop Friday to have my Avalanche’s transmission issue checked out. I had been told that the evaluation would be right around $100 and would take up to two hours.After a couple of hours, a guy came in to the customer lounge area explain what had been found. Basically, he said they found a couple of engine codes and that one of them might be causing an issue with the transmission and that there needed to be MORE EVALUATION to better determine the issue.SO – I was initially told that for $100 my issue would be diagnosed – and THEN, I was told FURTHER evaluation was needed for another $200 to truly determine the diagnosis. It sure seems like I just threw way $100!!I am not happy.First of all, the engine code that was referenced DOES NOT have anything to do with the transmission. I was told code P0952 – Mass Air Flow Sensor – may be causing my transmission to misbehave. I did extensive research on the internet and NO WHERE did it mention transmission issues when discussing the P0952 code.Further, every time I asked about the cost of this or that, the guy was extremely vague – saying either it varies or it depends on the make/model. Well, he knew the make and model! He couldn’t even give me a ballpark figure! EVERY question I asked was answered with a vague answer.I am not about to bring back my vehicle – I have no faith that it will be analyzed correctly. And, if it can’t even be diagnosed correctly – how can it be repaired correctly?I was also displeased that, although a Veteran’s discount is available – it is/was only available for the first visit.When I asked about the cost of transmission replacement options – I was told the options were to replace mine with either a used transmission or a rebuilt one OR mine could be rebuilt in your shop. The estimates I was given were higher that those given by Lawley Chevrolet!I got the distinct impression that the guy reviewing the job with me either didn’t know what he was talking about or he was just trying to sell more service. Either way, his manner of speech did not instill a positive level of confidence.I was impressed with the quick response to my initial request for more information and professionalism shown by Jessica. I was also impressed with the text and email communications. However, those things don’t matter in the long run – it’s getting my vehicle diagnosed and repaired correctly – the first time – and at a reasonable price.Again, I am disappointed and won’t be returning.

This is the best place to get your auto work done! They have helped me on many occasions, once in an emergency. We needed to leave town and our alternator died. They fit us in the schedule on a Monday morning, fixed it, and made sure our car was ready to drive long distances. I myself tried to replace a gasket on my 1977 Toyota Landcruiser FJ40; after getting held up halfway through the job, I wasn’t able to get my camshaft put back in. No more than 5 days later the entirety of the vehicle was fully put back together and running like a champ. I have been taking my 2000 GMC pickup there and always relied upon their expertise, great customer service, and fair prices. My truck was totaled, but I showed up with a motorcycle gas tank for them to see if it was worth cleaning. Despite no longer servicing motorcycle gas tanks, they had their mechanic check out the tank and called Tucson to make sure Tucson could clean the tank. This was classic Arizona Auto & Radiator customer service. I now have a 2008 GMC pickup that I WILL be taking there when service is needed. I wholeheartedly recommend them!

My best experience getting tires for my vehicle EVER! My schedule was very tight time wise but Bobby took care of getting everything set up so it was ready to go and could work with my schedule. This is a family business. The owners are husband and wife, and their son is a mechanic here. They are fair and honest, as well as friendly and courteous. They have been growing steadily. My first visit was at their old shop, which was smaller. That was a few years ago. Since then, I have been treated very well, and they outgrew the old building, and moved into a new, larger building. They offer a full range of automotive repair services. Always a good experience! I would recommend this shop to anyone in the Sierra Vista area.
