He service advisor was honest. I was scheduled for brake fluid replacement, but he checked my records and saw I had already done it. Most other places would of charged me for the fluid replacement anyways. This type of service makes it a personal service.

The experience was a 10!My present Honda lease term was set to mature in a month. I Pulled into First Honda, with the hopes I could keep my business in the community this time. I was greeted by Albert Rodriguez, Senior Sales Consultant. He was friendly and listened to my wish list. Minutes later I was test driving a Honda Accord Sport. I also tried the Honda Accord Touring 2.0. Both models have great features. Albert Rodriguez has full knowledge of all the features and he took the time to show me how each worked. I responded to that email with best price questions and what I am looking for as far as financing but have not heard back. I guess they dont need the business.

People were walking around not paying any attention, after about 10 minutes somebody finally told me they were closed. Maybe update your website, or greet a customer. I had a wonderful experience at First Honda. The service advisors, Willie Burr and Don, were kind, helpful, and knowledgeable. Every First Honda employee I encountered on my visit greeted me and made my visit pleasant. The manager, Len Akers, even took the time to ensure that my car was brought up quickly when it was finished. Overall, it was a great experience!

Generally difficult. I was there will a relative we were both planning to purchase cars. However we planned to also test drive a different manufacturers car. The sales people initially pursued a soft sell approach but then become relentless. I also had problems with the delivery of the car. It was the wrong color, but I preferred it. When I later brought this to the attention of the sales manager he started to yell at me because I didnt immediately make him aware of this as it happened. I dont buy cars often and was looking forward to having a good time. I wish that I never went there

My first Honda was a leased CRV. My three year lease was coming to an end, and I so enjoyed the product, that my wife and I decided to lease two CRVs this go round. We visited our original dealer and visited two others in our area. We chose First Honda Because of the people, our sales person and the general manager. They were extremely knowledgeable, honest and straight forward. They listened to what are needs were and explained to us why the CRVs were the right choice to get all the safety features and bells and whistles we wanted. They Listened first and Sold Second

SHADY AF. The truck we were looking at was in Ventura. We stopped in at 1st Honda to see if we even liked the model before we drove to Ventura. Ara told us they were bringing the truck to 1st Honda for us. We didnt commit to a deal because we had to sell our old car. We didnt hear from 1st Honda until the following day, when they told us Ventura had sold the truck already. Quite a coincidence as we had only been out of touch for a few hours. We made the trip to Ventura the following day AND BOUGHT THE TRUCK 1ST HONDA TOLD US THEY HAD ALREADY SOLD. 1st Honda flat out lied to us! Their loss - Ocean Honda in Ventura got our business. DO NOT TRUST 1ST HONDA. They are liars.

Phenomenal service, especially from John F. my server, and very friendly people. They offered me free cold bottled water multiple times when I took my car in to get the oil change. They purposely didnt try to charge me extra for other things with the car, etc.... They were very honest and sincere telling me other things that were wrong, might be a concern with the car: tires and headlight, etc... and then giving me a quote for them to repair, fix them (each part(s), etc...)-if I wanted them too.

We took in our Honda today due a recall for the airbags, when you leave your car they text you shortly after with a generic number to keep you updated and it states you can use that number as well to reach them for any questions, so after a few hours I decided to text them to see how much longer until my car was ready for pick up and Jacobs reply was its ready to go, I texted you and left a message, thank you I genuinely felt this was a bit rude and an unprofessional reply, if I had recieved a text or even a voicemail, I would have not needed to message you, therefore I dont believe any message or voicemail was left. In addition, I attached a photo of everything they inspected inside and outside my car and they put my exterior and interior lights were all good and checked however I know my left side brake light has not been working for over a week, I also attached that photo and they are still not working, did not expect them to fix it but this makes me question if they even checked anything ? And if they even repaired my airbags ?? Since they marked all my break lights are good when in fact they are not. Lastly, when I went to get my car, Jacob, gave me my paper work and said here, some one will be out with your car shortly no explanation, nothing, didnt even wait to see if I had any questions, this guy does not have good customer service and I will not be bringing my car back here for any services.

Making an appointment was a snap, the folks very cautious about COVID19. The link for online payment was a very easy, and made pickup even easier. The issue with my car isnt simple, so I cant comment on the quality of service, but I will be taking it back there. Give them a call, they seem to have a good crew over there...good vibes

Took in a 2016 Honda CR-V for routine maitnence and the whole process was smooth and easy. They told us what the car needed and even discovered a tire with a nail in it that we had not known about beforehand. These people go above and beyond when taking your car in for service. We also had to take in a 2012 Honda Pilot for an engine piston recall and the car was fixed within a day and covered under warranty! Very quick and well done repairs! Besides repairs, they had several helpful salesmen on hand to assist us in deciding between a brand new CRV and a 2016 model a year ago. Went over the pros and cons and showed us the features and the actual benefit of each model! They also secured test drives for us and let us inspect the vehicle for any damage. I am giving this dealership 4 stars instead of 5 because they can be pretty busy at times. Overall, fantastic dealership, will definitely be coming back here for all of our Honda related needs.

Just bought a 2015 Honda Civic today from 1st Honda of Simi Valley, and it was the simplest and quickest car buying experience ever. I had been looking for over a month, and had gone to several other dealerships, and was thoroughly disappointed and frustrated with them.However, 1st Honda was a completely different and welcomed car buying time. Alfonso Jimenez was a very good salesman, no hard sale tactics, or following us around as we looked. He gave us our space while we were trying to decide between two cars, then took our offers in on both cars (several times) to the finance people, without any comments or questioning our offers, or trying to persuade us differently. He was not pushy at all and very easy to work with. Chris Lee, the Sales Manager, was outstanding too. He actually worked with me on coming to an agreeable number out the door, no pressure at all to finance when I wanted to do cash, and our sale was completed in less than 20 minutes. WONDERFUL! The sales representative was very friendly and helpful with choosing a new car. He did not pressure us to buy a more expensive car or add options we did not want and/or liked. He made suggestions on what is available but added no pressure when we declined the additional option. I felt being informed about the car and was able to make a decision about which car to buy. After leaving the dealership to look at other cars, the sales representative followed up with a phone call one or two days later, asking if we were still interested in the car. We came back a week later, agreed on the price and finalized the purchase. There was some discussion back-and-forth on the price, but at the end we found a deal that satisfied both, the seller and the buyer. Again, there was no pressure to add options and/or dealer installed features during the price negotiations. The dealership presented what was available to purchase the car (financing, credit cards, cash, insurance etc.) and they accepted our choices. The purchasing experience was pleasant because I did not feel pressured to accept a deal with which I would not be happy. I will recommend this dealership to my friends and will come back when I need a new car.

I live in San Diego but was up in Simi Valley visiting relatives. I have a 2007 Honda Pilot. My key fob wasnt working and even replacing the battery didnt help. I had to have Triple A tow my car to 1st Honda because my key would not unlock my door and then when we got into the car the alarm went off and wouldnt stop until the battery was disconnected. When I got to 1st Honda they took my information and also noted that the Passenger Air Bag had a recall and they said they would take care of it while the car was there. My vehicle needed a new lock cylinder and they had to also rekey the lock and the cost was going to be approximately $750! When I questioned the cost they gave me a 10% discount on the labor but the cost was still $691.My complaint is that they told me it would be done after lunch the next day and when I called they said it would be done by 5. I told them I needed the car by 3:45 and they said they would try to get it done between 3 and 3:30. They did have it finished by 2.However when I went to pick up the car before I drove off I decided to check the key and it wasnt working!!!! You would think that they would check that before giving me my vehicle back!Then when I asked if they took care of the recall they said that they didnt do it but that I could take it to any Honda dealer to have it done. However that is an additional inconvenience to have to now take it to another dealer and wait to have it done when they said they would do it while the car was there.And to top it off they mentioned I had corrosion on my battery but didnt bother to clean it up.Definitely dissatisfied with the customer service there.

He helped me throughout the entire process and even took the car to my mechanic for a pre-sale inspection. Charles was very knowledgeable and easy to talk to. I appreciated his assistance and honesty and he was an all-around great guy. He made the process smooth and I am grateful to him and the entire staff at First Honda!

The sales representative Bobby Tarafdar did an outstanding job explaining to us the three different cars we were interested in with their features and also explained the advantages and disadvantages of each vehicle which lead to us picking out the car that worked best for us. Also Bobby was the most knowledgeable sales person at going over all the features of the car after the sale. Best I have seen in my 38 years of buying and leasing cars.

Do not believe what they say. I was looking to buy a car and they miss used my personal information. I was given a price one day and when Im about to buy the car, they give me another price. All the representatives I talked to are not to be trusted. Tony, Mike, and specially Bobby. When I left this location to go buy elsewhere, he comments with Good luck! They will not give you a better deal. After the fact I posted a Yelp review regarding this location, Bobby sents me a sarcastic text Thank you for review on Yelp, happy holidays to you. That is a miss use of customer information when the transaction between parties is over. Also when I was in the store, Bobby was trying to get my full information before he can give me a better quote which he promised. To make things short. Stay away from this location unless you want your credit checked without you knowing!!!
