I ordered a part online and then received an alert it was ready, but when I went to pick it up, it was a different part number. The counter rep told me that is what the computer showed and I thought I made a mistake online. He instructed me to take it to another store to exchange for the proper part. I went to the other store and they thought I was trying to scam them since the receipt had the right part number and I was returning a different one. It then dawned on me they just filled the order with whatever they wanted to. Who does that? Its a specific part for a specific car. You cant make this stuff up.

The team at Advance Auto in Simpsonville is a great group of people working for the same goal! They make sure the is 100% satisfied and customers leave satisfied and a great experience at the store!! I have been a Advance Auto for 30 plus years always treated with much respect!! The manager now there and Mr. Tipton are genius on parts ! Always a pleasure to do business with people at this store! You should be really proud and grateful for the manager and his team!

This is a great place to shop.The manager hopefully I spell her name right Sheryl.Shes been there for years but you can tell she still loves her job by the way she handles her customers. Shes goes above and beyond to help the customer.I wouldnt go to any other car part store no matter what.

Theyre super helpful . Offer free battery and windshield wiper installation. I had a dead battery and the offered to charge it overnight to ensure it was the batter and not the starter or something else.Shun was very helpful. Will definitely be there when I need any auto parts.

Seemingly dismissed every time I come to this store. Unsure if young boys are sexist or just dont want to answer questions/assist in furthering knowledge/pause their conversation. Prices are good. Usually stocked. Fast check out. Female cashier was very pleasant, and the one gentleman I spoke to to dispose of some oil was kind enough to walk me back and ensure I didnt make a mess. Not overly impressed, but will return.

I came in to buy a specific item for my partner - I had the product page pulled up to reference. The man at the register asked me a bunch of questions and decided I was buying the wrong item, even went so far as to take it from me and put it back on the shelf. Im sure his intention was genuine but I had to insist several times that I needed to buy the thing I was sent to get. The interaction was very off-putting.

Not sure if staff was short handed but the staff that was there was not overly knowledgeable and in no hurry at all.Could use a couple of professional parts personel.

Nice staff. Installed my wipers for free with no problems. Also during Covid, let me use the scanner to check an engine code, then ran it inside and told me what is was for. I like this place over the Auto Zone right nearby.

Sometimes a chance encounter makes all the difference, so is true when I met Eric (from Cincinnati) yesterday. I walked in wanting a brake piston compression tool. Eric asked what I was working on, and knew exactly what I needed. It wasnt what I was looking for, it was a small square anodized tool. He told me how to use it, and BAM it worked perfectly. Thanks Eric!

Purchased lock grip pliers and when I went home to use them they broke. I took them back to the store on the same day as I purchased them and was told that I had to have a warranty in order to get my money back.

Very unprofessional. Had to order a part I needed online and would be shipped to the store but turns out that once it was delivered to the store they couldn’t find it anywhere. The employee was rude after the first time going to check on the parts location. Very unprofessional! I have been waiting for the part to arrive, and wasn’t even offered an apology or anything. Even worse didn’t want to return the money I paid for shipping.

Very knowledgeable people very good selection. They even install batteries and wiper blades for free on rainy days! Martin the commercial manager and Davy, the store manager many years automotive hands on experience.

Horrible Customer Service! Walked in this am and the staff member that was not helping anyone greeted me with Im not logged in yet maam, you will need to wait. Sounds inviting right? NO! After waiting for him to have a personal conversation about missing money from registers with a co-worker, he then prompted me to come forward. I asked if they could diagnose my check engine light and was told the machine got ruined in the rain and they had one on order. I would have to go down the road. I work in customer service and even though they did not (allegedly) have the tools to help me, I felt very unwelcomed. Went to down the road and it felt like a different world. Thanks again for directing me to the right store!

Just as good as the other ones with regard to customer assistance,, prices, and selection. They are almost identical to AutoZone in name and branding, and if you compare websites you will swear they are the same company.

As I have reviewed before Advance Auto Parts is most likely of the big three to have the parts you need in stock...at least in my experience. Additionally the Simpsonville store always seems to have what I need much more often than Woodruff or Pelham. Its not conventient to have to split the order between two stores so I usually end up ordering everything from Simpsonville even though its a little further for me.

These guys and gals seem to know what their talking about. Explained the warranty and core policies when I wasnt quite sure of the fine print.

Went there 2 nights ago for some help with map lights. The guy didnt even seem like he wanted to help me. Then blew a fuse along with it then when he did that all of sudden they were about to close and he needed to clean the windows. Never had a bad experience there until now. Loved the old employees they were much more respectful and helpful. Customer service now is horrible.

Walked in, got what I needed and super fast checkout, no wait.

I order a part here that clearly has 4 boltholes as per their picture on their computer, part arrives, 2 two bolt holes. Then the salesman want to argue that it was the part that I ordered. Because I paid for the part with debit card, my money was stuck in limbo for six days. My advice from experience is drive on past to a more competent auto parts store right down the street.

Ive been shopping at this Advance Auto for nearly 25 years and staff comes and goes, but the current staff is pretty good and vet friendly which is great. Large selection in stock and they are helpful and knowledgeable.

I wasnt sure of a spec on my truck. The counter guy had no clue and took so long to look it up I went back out to my truck and checked Google myself before he succeeded. Then they were out of the product I needed in the brand that was on sale and couldnt offer a raincheck or anything to make up for the lack.

Friendly workers and proud to help. I hear people say they got wrong part, but thats usually due to the incorrect info they give counter associates. Know your VIN #s for example I have a 2001 explorer sport but the engine was manufactured before March 2000, found on door jam sticker. Know your vehicle!!!!

I usually dont have any issues but this visit it seemed several people did not know what they were doing or unwilling to help. It was busy so that likely was part of it.

I ask the young guy if they change headlights, he said no, but out of his kindness and 3 minutes, literally that, done . So greatful.
