Today I went into Auto-zone in Simpsonville to pick up a part for my son. Jim C waited on me. He was so friendly and helpful. I usually never go into Auto Zone because I always feel intimidated. But my son wanted this specific part and I went in expecting to feel stupid like always. Jim went out of his way to make sure the part I needed was the correct one and even opened the box to make sure the right part was in the box. He was such a nice person and made me feel like he appreciated my time and business. Thanks for your help! I would come back again now.

I needed to replace a sensor that went bad and was driving home and passed a OReillys a d figured I’d stop in and pick it up after verifying I was getting the correct one, the guy argued with me and told me I was better off paying the $80 to have someone diagnose it for me. I was in disbelief. Decided to go to my local autozone where I should have just gone to begin with. I was welcomed by Jacob and he politely explained the covid rules and explained how to use the code reader. He then explained the code to me and confirmed what I already thought and helped me get the correct part so I can change it out. Not once did he question my ability to do it, he didn’t judge me and I appreciate that . The entire staff at this location has been nothing but helpful whenever we go in. Thank you Jacob for just being nice and kind!

This afternoon we bought a battery from AutoZone in Simpsonville. I didnt want to spend hours waiting for a battery replacement so I bought one from AutoZone and selected the curbside pickup option. I had the tools to replace it myself but the gentleman on the line let me know that they provide battery replacement for free, as long as they can get to the battery.I asked if it was okay for me to change my selection from curbside pick up so he could install it for me and he said no prob. 10 mins later my battery was replaced and I didnt have to pay extra or waste time at mechanic/Walmart/Goodyear/NTS, which I had considered but their wait times during covid are too long. I also didnt have to worry about recycling it.I wish I got his name, the simpsonville store is awesome.

Standing in auto zone for 30 min had great service from rep Johnathan c but had to give a one star due the manager David has John working the phone the cash register I bought lights in a filter today and wanted to utilize there free help install for my lights. Still waiting why the manager has personal conversation on his personal phone John has service 6 customers not including and answer the phone manager 3.great place to go for Parts but dont expect great service came in at 1:54 its now 2:21

The only reason I am not giving a 1 star is because of the service the first time I got when I went in. They were super friendly and helpful and I got the parts I needed. The second time I went in to return the parts because I decided to not put in the effort in my car the service was horrible. It took at least 5 minutes before anyone acknowledged my presence and then the manger had to be gotten when I did get someones attention. Then i was asked for my receipt and so I explained I didnt receive a receipt but maybe it was emailed because they took my information. Then i was told they dont email receipts and just stared at like I was suppose to magically have a receipt. So I again told him I didnt have one but i was just in there a couple days ago. He was able to look it up by my phone number but getting to that point was frustrating and all in all a very bad experience. Will never go back to that location and maybe not even that store chain.

Love this store! All the people that work there. Whenever that check engine light comes on, I head over there and theyre quick to help find a code so I can better understand what is going on-and they do this for free! Great outfit over there.

I had a return, and one of the managers was rude. He barely said two words to me after I told him I didnt have a receipt multiple times. He then looked it up easily... Not sure why he couldnt do that to begin with. Then he handed me the money and walked away no bye no thank you or yw.

This was a fantastic store. The service was great and the items on the shelf were exactly what we wanted. We were able to stock up here for our travels around the South east. The employees here helped make our travels around this area even better!

I walked in to get some parts for my truck tonight. The two guys working made me wait while they rang each other up for a drink. Then when asking about parts they made fun of the truck make that I own and told me to buy another that they preferred before they looked up the parts I needed. They made comments about my trucks make several times during the process and laughing about it. They pulled up the part I needed and had to say that I needed that part multiple times and the computer said they had one. When they went into the back to get it they didnt have any of the hoses I needed or the clamps and clamp tool. Ive been going here for years and As of late the service has been horrible. I dont plan on coming back ever again and I will take my needs for my trucks else where. If the minimum wasnt 1 star Id give no stars.

Theres not much difference between the three high street car parts stores, prices are much the same, they will all honor each others prices on same type items, but not their own brand equivalent products. If you find a good store its usually the people that work there that make the difference.

One of the manager who works at the morning shift was really so rude because does not respect the customers or answer my questions so actually no costumer service at this store and this is the last time I go back this store .

I usually go to Advance but my mechanic suggested Autozone. I was pleasantly surprised by how nice the employee was. The store had about 7 or 8 customers while I was there and I was helped relatively quickly. I did have my toddler age son with me and the employee acknowledge him and was very sweet to him.

Went here and had an associate test my trucks battery. He said it was dead and that I needed to buy a new one for $100+. I didn’t believe him so I went to Advanced Auto and they said it just needed a charge which they did for free. I just placed it back in my truck and it starts and runs fine. AutoZone either lied to take advantage or just need to replace their battery testing device.

Just wanted to give a big shout out to Gary at the Pleasantburg store. Website said they had my starter first at Taylors store, which they didnt, then at Pleasantburg store, which they didnt. But Gary called around, made sure they had it in their hands, and reserved it for me where they actually had it. No body is perfect and no web site is perfect but he is very hands on and went beyond. Thx Gary !!!! For that reason will continue to shop at Auto zone. 👍

They help you out and if the new part freezes up they still take back the part and give you a refund.

Yet again AJ and David knocked it our of the park. This is my local parts store and i will go out of the way to get my questions answered and my parts. Yes during certain times of the day you may get someone unsure of a question but guess what they always turn you to someone that has the answer. There may be some to disagree and it’s a wonderful world we live in because that’s ok but at the end of the day, middle or beginning of your day get your stuff from here. I am a customer for life. Thank you Management for putting the right people in the right positions. Also note I’m not knocking down any of this locations employees I just have a preference of who works on my truck. 2007 Dodge Ram 1500 going strong.

By far the most Superior Auto Parts store of them all for every five purchases of $20 or more they give you a free $20 like who can even compare to that, widest variety of every part !

I went to this autozone to get my battery charged. The service rep said he would charge it with no problem but when we went to do so the manger says there’s no point the cell is dead without even looking at my car and tells me to buy a new battery. Ok fine. Now when I’m trying to purchase the battery the computer says there’s one in stock but he cannot find it. He didn’t want to sell us a battery I will never shop at this place again I took my money to advance auto parts and they helped me with no problem! And it was cheaper! I would give 0 stars if that was an option!

They dont listen when you tell then what you need and you have to repeat yourself 5 times. If your in the customer service business pay attention when your customer asks. There website is a joke.

Jeff went beyond and above for me and my vehical. I just recently moved to Greenville and had a major problem with my car. He spent a good 30 minutes working on my car with me to help fix the problem. If it wasnt for Jeff I would have had to go to a shop to getting problem fixed. I know you have no way of knowing when I walked in that Im an ASE and Ford certified technician, but if I tell you Ive already tested my starter before deciding to come in and purchase one I do not wish to wait any additional time while you test it again anyway. Just let me purchase and leave.
