Not recommended for any labor or install work, especially electrical.I purchased a camper shell for my truck from Mix Truck when they were at their old location. I dealt with the owner Mark during this process. Total with install was over $2800. I was not thrilled about the customer service but didnt want to leave a bad review just based on that. However, after doing some work on my truck I noticed the shoddy workmanship to go on top of the customer service.1. I used the camper shells website to pick the options I wanted and printed this off to bring to Mark so he could order it for me. Mark tried to talk me out of the remote lock option for some reason.2. Mark took my printed form with options I wanted to enter it in his computer for the order. I received a receipt that I later discovered had one option not listed. I wanted the trimless design, not with trim. When I called Mark, he said he probably cant change it now and tried to tell me that most people get the trim piece because it keeps the paint from chipping on the edge. That conversation continued, he just kept trying to push for the trim piece rather than fix my order. I had to make it clear to him that it was his mistake and I expect to get a trimless camper shell. In the end, the manufacturer was able to fix my order.3. I was given a lead time of 2-3 weeks for the camper shell to arrive at Mix Truck. I waited until the end of the 3rd week to call and find out when the camper shell would arrive. Surprisingly, I was told it had just arrived that morning. I would have expected a heads up when it would arrive, to already schedule the install, because I had to wait another week until they had an opening to do the install.4. When I picked up my truck after install, the outside of the cap was covered in wharhouse dust and the inside had wood pieces and saw dust.5. Now is when I discovered the poor install. The wire harness that goes from the passenger footwell, through the floor board, and to the back tail light had about 6 feet of extra length that was just bundled up and shoved under the plastic cover. This should have been cut to size. I found out this extra cable with the plastic split loom tube was the source of a very irritating rattle sound that took months to find.6. The wire harness is supposed to go through a rubber grommet in the floor board to get to the back fo the truck. Instead of the grommet being cut with an X in the center (or better drilled hole to the proper size) then sealed back up with silicone, they just cut the round grommet from the edge all the way to the center. Probably so they didnt have to feed the length of cable through a hole, and rather just slide it in from the side. When I found this, the grommet was not even in the hole, and is no way I can get it to fit back in the hole to stay in place and provide any kind of seal. So I had to order a new grommet for $12 and install it myself the proper way.

Lots of great input, recommendations and a custom Rhino lining application of a three tone gray color. I don’t leave reviews...but I had to in this case. Mark is extremely professional and does what he says...period. I had a BW Turnover gooseneck ball installed in my bed and he sprayed a Rhino bedliner in as well. The hitch was installed perfectly and the bedliner is awesome. It is the rhino Hybrid and is a nice medium between the rhino Toughliner and the rhino hardline. Best of both worlds. As everyone knows, the spray in Bedliners depend more on the installer than the the brand—Mark and his team know what they are doing and do it right. Rest assured your spray in bedliner or hitch will be installed to perfection. Fair prices and a shop full of truck accessories will make you drool. I fully recommend The Mix and suggest you contact them for your truck and off-road needs.

Mix is my go-to truck place and heres why: Two years ago, my husband and I decided to start doing off-roading and long distance car-camping. I purchased a Nissan Frontier Pro-4X with the off-road package. As is, this was a short bed, crew cab with a manufacturer installed roof rack. Already a great truck. But after one 6-week trip we knew we needed a cap for the bed of the truck. I called a couple dealers for the cap and left messages asking them to call me back. Mark was the first one to call, so I went with him. The install of the cap was fine I thought, but then I realized that it was leaking when it rained. Called Mark about this and he said to bring it in and hed fix it. There was a gap where the cap sits on the edge of the truck bed that had not been sealed. Ok. The problem was fixed and the leaking has stopped. Since then weve added truck bed drawers, a completely new front bumper with a wench, recovery points, custom sliders, super springs and a lift kit. When the wench was installed, Mark spent a good 45 minutes with us to teach us the basics of how to use it. Weve also bought other accessories that help us stay safe and capable in pretty much any situation. Im going to add some lights in a couple weeks. I had some questions about the kind of lights I wanted and Mark was clear and reasonable in his answers, suggesting one version over another usually to save me money or just to be more practical. Every bill is explained and there are no surprises. My only complaint is that the new location is farther from my house than the old one was! Maybe that will save me money (lol) but its worth the drive. Mark is a professional, an honest businessman and a teacher off all things off-road as well. All I had to do was ask.
