This stores manager was on the phone the last time I was in there talking about how her assistant manager with the burns in her face she dont trust...n how she has this married man(my husband) shes sleeping with at that trashy hotel across the street. Very unprofessional..yes I will be calling corporate on her. Her store is a mess nothing is ever stocked. She smokes out in front of the store. If u ask me its rude to let customers walk through smoke like that especially old people who have breathing issues.

Every single time I come to this store, only this store they’re closed. Today other people went in but I’m turned away for maintenance. The other day I couldn’t load money on my chime card… if they ARE open please tell me when?? When are ALL of the DG services ever going to be offered at this store? I am always turned away for some reason? It’s dirty, unorganized, and far from any other DG stores.

Would have been nice if they opened on time. Sat there for 30 minute with numerous other people and yet no employees were there. Numerous people kept going up to the door and yet it was lock over an hour after they were supposed to open. I watched at least 8 people pull up and leave mad because they still weren’t open. Had to drive all the way to Mauldin to the next closest dollar general. They were open and had 6 people stocking shelves and 1 on the register. How do you have at least 7 employees working at 1 location and open on time yet nobody showing up on time at this location. I ended up being late for work. So yeah thanks dollar general. I’ve only been here 2 other times than this. It’s always really gross, the staff is rude and doesn’t care, shelves are always lacking. Just a really bad location in general. Need to shut this one down and open a new/ nicer one.

The Dollar General near the old town of Simpsonville on 417 was wonderful. Clean, nice, well kept. The one near Big Lots was not clean. Very messy and hard to find anything.

Glad to find what I was looking for. Also, still had candies, etc. Very polite & helpful clerk.

The store is usually very well stocked, but with the pandemic currently going on there was lots of empty shelves. But the reason for the low rating is it always takes a long time to check out. Theres always (my experience) a long slow moving line at checkout. Frustrating when you see other employees in the store, and know they arent understaffed. Yet only one register going. Dont make sense.

Clutter disorganized disheveled to employees its hard to find anything you need but the people are still nice and its not nasty its just cluttered

The owner is great...the cashiers are great. Most times I get recommendations on what tastes great if Ive never tried an product before. If I cant find a price on an item the cashier always are happy to help.

I visit DG usually about twice a week. I live on a limited income & I love to savage through the mark downs. The ladies are friendly & most helpful. I have Fun shopping adventures there. I also loved using the Digital Coupons. 😊

This is one of the junkiest stories that Ive been in. However, there were lots of clearance items from Christmas left over. The staff is very helpful and coupon friendly. I will definitely be back

I wont use the word hate but I strongly dislike this store. When Jackie and Lisa were there it was great, now going in there, the cashiers are very rude, no customer service skills at all. I am not going back in there anymore. I will take an extra trip to go to another one. This store needs to be closed down if they cant do any better. They remodeled the store which is great but if the workers are not providing good customer service the renovation was absolutely pointless. Just terrible. 😔😔😔

This store always has the nicest & helpful employees. Always a pleasure to shop here.I buy all my detergents, laundry soap, bleach & household items here...they always beat Walmarts prices. And shampoos, toothpaste, all the necessities are good buys too.BUT as this Dollar Store gets more popular.....I have noticed prices are starting to creep up. If they get too much higher I guess Ill have to make more trips up to Ollies.

The one cashier is nasty with people of color.

The store is dangerous I think all Dollar Generals are made to have stuff in the aisles blocking Isles they always have big crates with boxes that over power the crates hes having sitting on different Isles why the store looks empty everything is on the carts in boxes and this for the tickler looks so nasty that had to take a shower when I get home its just dirty. Retail stores should not have stuff sitting out like this putting peoples lives in danger Dollar General is a lawsuit waiting to happen

Go there for generic meds and great vitamins always priced reasonable. Easy to get in and out of just dont go in there around 4-5pm or youll have to wait in long lines​. Good selection and staff.

This Dollar General had no public restroom and the item I purchased was supposed to be on sale, but I had to rush out of there so therefore didnt bring up to price reduction that was illustrated on the shelf.
