I enjoyed our visit! The sales woman was very patient with us. We were very indecisive but she gave us plenty of time to experiment and experience all the recliners we wanted to try. We actually had a fun time shopping, lol. Our sales woman simply checked on us occasionally to see if we found any recliners that we wanted her to check on the availability of the recliners i was interested in.She was great and making sure i was comfortable in the chairs i was interested in. I am very happy with the chair i finally chose!!

We were happy with the service we received at Slumberland Furniture. We liked the fact that they gave us time to browse and look at furniture without a sales person coming up right away. When we found the item we were interested in we went to the sales desk and the sales person was very knowledgeable and helpful.

We came in close to closing we felt bad but were trying to hurry. Got help right away found 2 couches, 2 end tables and a coffee table. The lady was VERY HELPFUL!

I was very pleased with the sales associate Hana Lindsay. She was very knowledgeable in answering all my questions and making sure I was getting what I wanted. She was patient with me and apologized for the time it was going to take for the furniture to come in, and also promised me she would check often and keep me posted as soon as she hears when it will be here. I could have bought somewhere else but she was a sweetheart. I wish there where more people in this world like her.

We purchased a sectional from slumberland approximately 9 months ago. The zipper on two of the upholstered seats have broken leaving the foam padding exposed. We contacted them three months ago to see if this can be repaired. They have yet to fix it or replace the piece. We have called multiple times. They cannot give us specific reasons for the delay. Incredibly disappointed in the quality of their furniture as well as their customer service.

Its hard to compare selection as I feel its decent, but it all depends on personal preference. However, I have always had friendly and helpful service. I also like that Sergeant Bluff is in their range for free drop-off (at least my address).

We quickly found a set that we loved, and were disappointed to hear that in the pandemic times the furniture was taking longer than usual. We were given a timeframe of 3 months. We almost didn’t purchase, but I am so glad we did! We absolutely love our new set! Throughout the wait, Hana was great about reaching out and just giving us a status update - without us even having to ask! She got delivery scheduled as soon as it arrived and the delivery guys did a great job getting it set up and in the house! Will definitely continue to purchase from Slumberland. Great job guys!!!

Great experience with the staff. They let me look around and answered my questions when I had them. Respected my need for space. I also loved the diverse collection they carried.

I bought a lounge chair and had the deliver it and the driver just dropped it in the back yard and and drove off. I will never by a thing from them again

Met with Teri worked out an agreement to return my new mattress after finding it too soft for my poor back. She was very helpful finding a firmer mattress which cost more but I think I will be better off. Disappointed that it might take a month to deliver.I will shop again at Slumberland because of the good service I received from Teri.

The staff is very knowledgable. We showed for mattresses which is something you dont normally know much about. Hana has helped me with two mattress purchases and she makes it so easy.

Bought a massaging chair only for the cord to snap within less than 2 months. They came to “fix” it. Still not fixed. And trying to call them is absolutely pointless since apparently nobody there knows how to answer a phone.

Friendly service, Rosa wasn’t pushy and let us look around, but was there to answer questions when we needed her.

We ordered a bedframe (headboard, side rails, foot board) from Slumberland in Sioux City. We have our bed stripped, all other furniture moved out of the way, and a car moved out of the garage to facilitate them bringing in and setting up the frame. We purchased the White Glove service. BTW: it is 0 degrees outside. The guys who is apparently the spokesperson for the crew, is wearing shorts. (see reference to current ambient air temp), refuses to wear a mask. I offer them masks I have just removed from the box they came and he says hes not going to wear a mask I touched. But they can reschedule our delivery for another day. Really? So he suggests I just stay away from them and everything will be fine. We had a brief but fruitless discussion about masks. Calling the store was an exercise in futility. Seems they know this guy has strong opinions. The woman I spoke with also said its hard to hire right now. Wow. Just wow. I wont do business there again. If you do, and you care about COVID precautions, Id suggest you discuss it with them up front. If they had told us what to expect, we would have made other arrangements. Im tired of stupidity and rudeness.

Very Dissatisfied with the information provided on their website. I was told my furniture was available for pick up in the store, I placed my order and called the store the following day and found out my items would not be available for two or more months. I asked for a refund and now I have to wait 7 to 10 business days for a refund and I can’t go buy furniture elsewhere. Very rude whenever you decide to cancel your order and not very helpful whenever you call asking where your money is! I will never do business with this company!

HA! THIS POST WAS BEFORE WHAT I WENT THROUGH WAITING FOR THE FURNITURE. NOW I UNDERSTAND COVID DELAYS COMPLETELY, SO NO PROBLEM THERE. BUT! DURING THE MORE THAN 3 MONTHS I WAITED FOR MY FURNITURE I WAS LIED TO SO MANY TIMES I LOST COUNT. MY SALESMAN WAS NONCHALANT ABOUT INITIALLY NOT GETTING MY FURNITURE WHEN PROMISED. HE TOLD ME IT WOULD BE MID NOVEMBER BEFORE I COULD GET THE DELIVERY. SO, HAVING ORDERED IT AROUND THE END OF OCT/FIRST OF NOV, I WENT HOME, PUT AN AD OUT TO SELL MY FURNITURE AND GET IT OUT OF THE WAY SO I WOULD BE READY IN TWO WEEKS. IT SOLD QUICKLY SO AS MID NOVEMBER DREW CLOSE I GREW VERY EXCITED TO GET MY PURCHASE. AROUND NOV. 14, I WAS IN SIOUX CITY ANYWAY SO I STOPPED IN TO ASK WHAT TIME THE TRUCK WOULD BE COMING. SINCE I HAD HEARD NOTHING FROM HIM BY PHONE OR EMAIL, I WAS SURE I WOULD HAVE IT BEFORE THANKSGIVING. HE WENT TO THE COMPUTER BROUGHT UP HIS INFO AND TOLD ME IT HAD BEEN DELAYED ABD I WOULDN’T HAVE IT UNTIL AFTER THANKSGIVING AROUND THE END OF NOVEMBER. I WAS DO UPSET THST NO ONE HAD CALLED AND LET ME KNOW ABOUT THIS DELAY THAT I THOUGHT I WOULD CANCEL MY ORDER. THE NONCHALANT SALESMAN SHRUGGED AND SAID OK. WELL, I HAD LOOKED SO LONG BEFORE I FOUND WHAT I WANTED, I DECIDED TO KEEP IT AND WAIT, BUT VERY SPECIFICALLY TOLD HIM TO CALL, TEXT, OR EMAIL ME IF THERE WERE ANY OTHER PROBLEMS. HE SAID HE WOULD. SO THE FIRST OF DEC I HAD HEARD NOTHING AND ASSUMED EVERYTHING WAS OK. I CALLED SLUMBERLAND, AND TALKED TO A NICE LADY WHO SAID MY SALESMAN WASNT THERE BUT SHE LOOKED UP MY ORDER AND SAID IT WOULDN’T BE COMING UNTIL THE MIDDLE OF DEC. EXTREME DISAPPOINTMENT AGAIN! I’d already gone through Thanksgiving with no furniture, but at least I would have it by Christmas. Again I was in Sioux City around December 15, so I stopped in, my salesman was there and I asked why he had never let me know how late my delivery was going to be. He said he had been so busy he just forgot. The 3 times I was in the store, I was the only customer there, so I found that hard to believe, but let it go. I also was told my furniture would not be delivered until after Christmas. I got in my car and cried. After Christmas I called was told my furniture was there. Holidays over, really didn’t care any more, but I was tired of sitting in wing back chairs watching TV in the evening, so I asked when it would be delivered. Well, Slumberland apparently only delivers on Fridays in my area so it would be the first of January. Oh, no. “We don’t deliver on New Years Day and that was a Friday.” Sigh. So it would be delivered the next Friday, Jan. 8. At this point I really didn’t care and I really didn’t believe ANYTHING Slumberland was telling me and was pleasantly surprised when they called Thursday and said it would be there Friday. Yay. So Friday, believe it or not, the truck showed up. I had ordered and paid for furniture set up because I have recently had back surgery and couldn’t do it myself. So when the men jumped out of the truck, I masked up and greeted them. I saw they had no masks, so I offered them some paper masks I keep near the door. They refused them. They refused to wear masks in my house. I have had no one in my house since Covid peaked in Monona County especially without a mask! But what was I going to do? Send them away after all this time? My husband went to the basement, I let them in. They hauled in the furniture, put it where I wanted it and attached the legs, picked up the packing materials and left. I didn’t talk much so neither did they. Never again, Slumberland!

She gave us space and let us browse (newish homeowners so we didnt know what exactly we wanted), but kept checking in with us to be sure we had all questions answered. I purchased a sofa on sale. Doug, the salesperson was willing to find answers to any questions I had. It is not a piece I recommend for daily sitting on, quality wasn’t there. I needed this piece of furniture for a basement room n it will hardly get used.Only regret, I have is to find someone to carry the furniture to this basement room. They will deliver for free to my door but charge to bring it inside! Refused to pay $89+ for carrying it from delivery truck to this room! Ridiculous!!!

Bought a new mattress exactly 1 month ago and its already starting to sag in the middle and I dont weigh 300 lbs. I am going to call this morning when they open. Ill leave and update of how Im treated. Slumberland called and were very helpful going to take bad matress back, and I will go choose another one, but it wont be a Serta. I would give them a 5 star rating for customer service

Good quality furniture but the customer service was absolutely horrible. Knew what we wanted after about 20 minutes of looking around and took us 3 hours after that to get everything finalized and before we could leave. They goofed up the paperwork and then forgot to charge something else correctly. We were very disappointed with the service given to us.

I took my mother there to get a new bed. She can’t walk through the whole store so Mark went and got her a wheel chair. That was so nice of him. He explained everything in great detail so my mother who is hard of hearing could understand him. We bought the bed she wanted. It was the most pleasant experience because of Mark.

Our sales person was great. She did a wonderful job of checking in and then just backing off. No pressure to buy anything and very helpful. My wife and I were both so pleased when we left. A big thanks to Therese Cleveland.
