My friend is a contractor and uses their rebate program, loves it.Found everything i needed, helpful staff.

Ive never had such an unpleasant experience at Menards until yesterday. Our cashier, Bridget, was extremely rude. Never greeted us and when we put 3 items up on the checkout belt she rudely said and what about those items? I said we were doing 2 separate transactions. On the 2nd transaction, she said my total was $11.65. I handed her a rebate of $11.87. She then rudely says my total is $3 and some cents. I explained to her that she just told me my total was 11.65 and her response was I guess I dont remember what amount I told you Long story short, she called over a manager for help and was annoyed with us over the matter. Never said anything after it was resolved. Not a thank you or have a good day all we got was eye rolls and a rude tone.

Retired from Menards a few years ago and I think I spend more time there now. Has everything I need. Love seeing old team members I worked with.

I LOVE this Menards on the west side of Sioux Falls.It still has a great selection of landscaping lights & figures that light up.

Would have a five star but I was surprised by the lack of products. I needed some spraypaint ( black) and they had no gloss black. There shelves were bare in alot of spots . Was kinda disappointed had a list of about twenty items only managed to get about half. Hopefully that dont happen again.

They had everything I needed and were very helpful and friendly.

These people over charged me and after i went in to get it fixed and with proof and being there 5 min before i realized they said they couldn’t help me? Really pathetic!

Have to go chasing employees down to get any help. Im fine with not being asked if I need anything, but when Ive got to go searching for someone to ask a question, then they usually dont know and have to go find someone else themselves, it gets a little ridiculous.Products are okay. Usually go here if I need wood products as they have a good selection and decent prices.

Bought trim boards and they didn’t have the length we needed so we asked to have a longer piece cut for us so it would fit in the truck. We were told we would have to cut it ourselves, the saw was out back behind the store in the warehouse. Really? No instructions as to how to use the saw, just go do it yourself. Possibly the worst customer service I’ve ever seen. I doubt we will return to this store.

My wife and I went to Menards to find a fan/light combo for our bathrooms. We had trouble finding as we went to the light section of the store. Not finding what we were looking for, we went to look at bathroom accessories- and found the lights there.We found why we were looking for - we were very happy we had the ability to try each one - and see/hear what a working model sounded like.We had a couple other miscellaneous purchases to make as well, and it took a while to find. We sought out assistance and though we’re slightly misdirected to the wrong aisle, it was easy to find the item - as it was the next aisle over.Overall a good shopping experience, though I struggle to find staff when I am there. I don’t see this as a complete negative though - there are many staff, they are helping others - I just have to be more patient.

Desires 0 stars. Horrible customer experience. Got confronted as soon as I stepped into the store for not having a mask on. The employee told me I had to have a mask on in order to shop there. I asked if she wanted my business and she said no, not unless you have a mask on. To make the experience even worse 4 other people without masks on walked in with no confrontation. The employee proceed to say she was calling the authorities. Overall I will no longer be doing any business with Menards and will spread the word in the poor customer service.

Im used to the Sioux Falls east side store, this store is flipped. Its a little hard for me to find things, but there is always someone friendly to help me find the things I need. Still finding great deals.

Menards typically had the lowest prices of the comparable stores, with the added bonus of their 11% rebate promotion offered often throughout the year.

They have no flexibility as far as in store shopping for people who cant wear masks for health reasons. I was forced out by an employee even though I gave an explanation. Completely tyrannical, ignoring the rights of people and their obligation to follow the law; discriminating against people. Violating Public Accommodation, The Civil Rights Act of 1964, ADA, and multiple constitutional rights including the right for people to practice their religion. There is no law requiring masks and there constitutionally cant be. Stores cant make a policy that violates already established law. We will certainly not shop here and spend money to help tyrants.

No signs on the outside of the building alerting you to their mask requirements. And must admit, was taken aback at the 49¢ price tag for them to provide you one if youd forgotten yours!! Theyre actually usually lower priced than the other home improvement stores in town, maybe even the lowest. But if I forget my mask, I might just end up elsewhere. Especially considering how the woman who came out to greet us reacted.

If I could give 0 stars I would. I went into the store today and they wouldn’t let me in without a mask. I told them I have a medical condition and that didn’t matter to the guy in the front of the store. Asked to see a manager and she was so rude and inconsiderate. I told her about my medical condition and even showed her the letter from my doctor exempting me from wearing one and she’s like nope still doesn’t matter. I am prone to fainting and if I wear a mask it makes me hot and once I get over heated and start having hot flashes, I can faint. I am just trying to avoid going to the hospital and getting a concussion. Apparently they don’t care. Good to know! Not sure if they know this or not but it’s ILLEGAL to turn someone away due to a medical/disability. I will NOT be returning to the store! They will NOT be getting my money!!

Terrible customer service so zero star there they are all in moods if you ask them even basic questions. Unless its the paint counter you get a decent enough person there usually. Only reason they get two star is for awesome guy in paint counter area. Who asked other store to reserve a stain color for me (note other store is just as bad on this account they didnt set it aside either luckily they still had the stain on stock. So it turned out but it took a good 10min of me restocking everything correctly for them to find it)The wood in their pine area at least is all beat up I had a hard time finding even a decent piece of wood that wasnt busted cracked or beat up so bad it would be useless for my shelves.Also negative stars if possible for check-out clerks. First none of their wood has tags on the ends (like every other hardwear store its stapled to the bottom nicely) so if you dont have all your measurements prepare to be at the checkout for a while measuring wood. Or if you DO have them make sure to write down the prices anyways because the clerk for me at least charged me $80 for $32 priced wood because they had the wrong one selected thought it was really weird but the clerk was in such a bad mood i didnt push it at the time.... bad idea... of course when I went to return it because of this error they bulked and didnt believe me at the counter. Just a HUGE HUGE headache. Needless to say Ill be taking my expensive wood projects elsewhere on all accounts. Lowes was great had everything correctly stocked/tagged and the wood was fantastic there. Spent 26 and got all I needed so it was even cheaper there, higher quality too.

Really tired of their mandatory mask policy, but the one rude employee who choose to tell me to put on a mask or leave was the final straw. Going to Home Depot or Lowes until they treat grown ups as such.

From the way menards teaches guest service, they do not do. When shopping for appliances they dont come and talk to you, when you go into hardware and ask for help finding something, and they tell you it will be just a few mins, you and another guest finally find it, when you go to check out you see them talking about what they want to do this next weekend. not cool

I understand that face masks are required to shop in your east side Sioux Falls store but I was turned away because I am currently unable to use my left arm and the unable to put a mask on with one hand! Extremely disappointed that I was not allowed some sort of accommodation for my current disability! I have done a large amount of business with Menards and I believe in the future I will be taking my business elsewhere!

Decent quality products for a little less than Home Depot, a lot cheeper than Lowes. A few good employees make it definitely worth it. They have an extremely large selection of lumber and building materials.

Menards rule is if your daughter isnt wearing a mask she has to sit in the cart and thats okay but if I sit in the cart without a mask its not okay?

Very handy place to pick up anything you need for your house, they currently require a mask, and sanarize every shopping cart before you grab them. They always have a staff member around for you to ask questions, then guide you to what your looking for. Customer service is very friendly and help you with any issue you might have. They also have a very large selection of plants and flowers in the spring/early summer.

Always find what I need and then some..And then some more!! Haha, love Menards

I accidentally forgot my mask in the car and was almost to the checkout. I was told there were masks available at customer service by a roaming employee who required me to turn around. Menards has the gall to charge me for something I am forced to wear to patronize their establishment. I walked out to get my mask just to get back in line and check out. Very displeased. Never returning no matter how low the prices.

They are out of control with there mask rules. I now avoid this store at all costs. Ill go ANYWHERE else.

Good prices

Go down the street to Lowes or home depot. They offer online shopping for people who can’t or dont want to wear masks, but that’s like only being allowed to sit on the back of the bus. With online shopping you can not feel or see the quality of products, you cant be reminding of what you need just by walking by, and cant hand select products in better condition.

Menards is great. I xan depend on the to not only have the products I want but also generally the best price and always knowledgeable employees for every project!

Requiring a mask to enter causes me to break the law. Masks do not protect against the spread of the virus. They also desaturate your oxygen levels which further compromise your immune system. If folks want to wear masks great. That should be their choice. It is my choice not to wear a mask and my choice now to no longer give your stores any of my money.

I absolutely hate the fact that they FORCE people to wear masks. It should be an option, but not required. Its just a way for them to money grab and take advantage of fearful people. Ridiculous. Really cant find anything good to say about the people either. Two tried to accuse us of stealing when we bought a floor model. It came with oil and a booklet and other stuff, absolutely rude people. Only found one overly polite person in the several trips Ive been there. Wont go back.

I have been a Menards customer for decades but left when it was posted today that customers are required to wear a mask while shopping. Went down the street and spent a substantial amount of money at Home Depot. There are people who cannot wear a mask for various reasons, including myself. I am canceling my Big Card soon.
