Very very helpful and caring staff.......furniture is in great shape and the delivery guys are awesome!
Wonderful place! Friendly atmosphere, very helpful staff, great selection of all kinds of great things at affordable prices. Highly recommended!
Extremely friendly staff! Very helpful and knowledgeable. Answered all my questions and got me exactly what I needed!
They have such nice used furniture. Bought a couch and love seat. Sunday was a big help. Thank youWe will be back again!
One of the nicest furniture stores in SF. We will definitely go back again.
Love to shop on their website before going into store!
Very clean and well displayed store! Very helpful staff as well
I was asked to text pictures of the items I wanted to consign here so I did and the response I recieved was pretty unfriendly and unprofessional. Ive shopped here before. A friend had moved into a new house and asked for help furnishing it so I took them here and he ended up buying several large items. That day the employee working was very nice. Im not sure who replied to my txt but I dont plan to shop or sell here again.
This is the CUTEST store ever with super unique, cool pieces. Ive never purchased anything because its a bit spendy for my taste but I LOVE shopping here. Maybe one day Ill find that special piece I just cant live without.
Everything is beautiful. I love when the Christmas stuff comes out.
When I attempted to shop here initially two years ago, I thought the resale prices were outrageous, even though the pieces were beautiful and in great shape. Recently, I tried them again. I found the prices to be much more affordable to my budget, but I didnt see anything that I was looking for or that was my style. This is a nice store, well displayed, and the Christian music playing quietly is a nice accompaniment to shopping.
I was satisfied with my experience here. The staff is very personable and really go out of their way to help you find what youre looking for.I would say their prices are fair. I did notice a couple of pieces of furniture that were overpriced; you could easily find them new at the same price.
Great place to shop for 2nd hand furniture and accents.
Very high price for used merchandise
I have had great experiences here as a consignor; and the owner, Sondee, has been so kind and gone out of her way to help me in various ways, particularly because I moved almost 2,000 miles away to Florida over a year ago and had some items at her shop. Highly recommend.
Had very nice furniture and decor. It was a pleasant place to shop. I found a beautiful dinning set.
Great place
Lots of assortment to choose from. Friendly staff. The items seemed a little pricey for used furniture. But, most of it was in good condition. Lots of higher quality antiques.
My favorite thought about this store is it is locally owned by a private individual. She has a huge variety of home furnishings and even coaches people through care for the product they purchased.
Great store, high quality items and furniture!
Sondee at Resale Living has always been very helpful in finding the right pieces for us, including quality designer furniture often at a fraction of the cost. I highly recommend Resale Living!
Ever changing selection of furniture and decorating items. I stop at least once a month. Good quality used furnishings!
Kinda pricey but we lucked out buying a queen pull out sofa for $200. Would go again to see what things may have gone down in price since we dont have much to spend. Very nice people who helped us load.
Lots of beautiful furniture at reasonable prices.
Extremely helpful, knowledgeable about the furniture. Enjoyed the visit. Great, clean merchandise.
The staff here is always helpful and friendly! I bought my hutch here a few years back, and today stopped in with my bff so she could look for a dining room set. Not only was the staff helpful, but they also helped us find exactly what we were looking for!
Sondee is a very wonderful, amazing friend and business lady. I have bought most of my home decor here and love just popping in to see what is new.
This is by far the nicest store of this type Ive been in.. beautiful furniture in like new condition..they take consignment so the merchandise is always changing..from luxurious living room and kitchen sets to small classy end tables this place has it all!!or will have it all!!
Nice stuff too expensive for me
Good people very helpful
The owner is an awesome guy! Didnt have what I was looking for but found something in Craigslist and called me about it. Thats a good person!!
Great service and great selection; they have new interesting items every time we go in and are always so nice!
The ONLY PLACE TO BUY FURNITURE IS RESALE FURNITURE IN SIOUX FALLS
Awesome! Nice people, fair prices.
A Hit or Miss Place – in More Ways than OneThe goods:Mostly the kind of furniture the 55+ community likes – stuffed chairs and sofas with floral upholstery, heavy wood furniture like sideboards, dressers and headboards, and fancy table lamps. Don’t expect the good stuff like Henkel-Harris, Bassett, Baker or Henredon – you won’t find much better than middle-end like Ethan Allen. But if you’re looking for used furniture, this is one of the few options, as the other resale/thrift shops in the city have little or no furniture, except for Consignors Design up the street. Prices aren’t low for used furniture, so carefully watching the constant furniture sales around town might offer something new for just a little more.Back room does have a selection of recliners that someone looking to furnish a den or first apartment might like. Here and there you might find a nice piece of accent furniture, but the goods are packed pretty close, so you have to look carefully around. Wall art is mostly just printed landscape posters in frames – the kind of stuff that usually hangs on the wall over a sofa – nothing original or collectible. Decorative items are the better thrift shop variety. Stock doesn’t change much from month to month. The staff:I’ve been in five times now, and it’s remarkable how some of the people know the basics of Retail 101 that you learn if you worked in a mall store in high school, and some don’t. Once when I was there, the staff was a teenager/young woman who just looked up from the desk, said “let me know if need anything.” Another time it was a slender older woman with blonde highlights who came around the counter, said hello, and asked if there was anything special I was looking for. She offered the store’s business card as I left, and asked me to come again. She definitely understood Retail 101 – each new customer is a potential return customer, and also someone who might refer other customers. The other staff (owner?) was a short older woman with a blonde ponytail, who was looking at her phone when I came in, looked up, and went back to the phone. Another time she did talk to me, but then the phone rang, and she forgot Retail 101 – the person in front of you is more important than the person on the phone (barring a medical emergency, which it definitely wasn’t). Bringing in something for consignment can be hit or miss, too, and again, even if something is turned down, a friendly “Well, it’s not what I’m looking for right now, but thank you for coming by, and keep me in mind if you have anything else” would generate more future inventory than a curt rejection. In a place like this the customers could also be suppliers and the suppliers may later be customers; today’s item might not be marketable, but the next thing the consigner would bring in might sell for a good price (and the consignor might walk out with a purchase) - something Ponytail and Teenager didn’t seem to grasp. Each time I was in there - weekday or weekend - I was the only person there, so the business wasn’t exactly booming. It’s not worth a special trip, but if you’re in the hardware store or grocery store in the neighborhood, it might be worth walking over if there’s something in particular for which you’re looking. You could get lucky and find Blonde Highlights on duty, too.
We have purchased many items from them and have had a wonderful experience
Lots of very nice quality furniture to choose from. I didnt find what I needed this time - such is the nature of the resale treasure hunt - but the staff was friendly and helpful.
Easy to find what we were looking for at the right price
A lot of interesting, unique pieces.
Our experience was great very helpful and informative Thanks
The business, Resale Living looks good, Sondee is a nice lady but operates by some bad business practices unfortunately. I dropped off a pretty miraculous piece of furniture at an agreed price to split 50/50 if she sold the item. She said the item would sell in two weeks and was totally confident about that. After about 3 month later and no word from her. I contacted Sondee and she said she had sold the item about 5 weeks ago for $100 less than the price we agreed upon AND she never even bothered to mail a check or even contact us that it had been sold. She just decided it was ok to keep all the money without any regard for our legal agreement which was manipulated on multiple levels. This is a great place to purchase nice used furniture but do not make a deal with this lady to sell your stuff. Not trustworthy. Not reliable. Additionally, she tried to change the terms of our contract and demanded 25% for a so called ‘holding fee’ if I sold the item on my own or removed it from her possession. A SERIES OF UNFORTUNET BUSINESS PRACTICES!! BEWARE!
A favorite place to shop.
Cute little shop.
Great people
Expensive for used furniture!!
