Brought in several bags of clothes to sell & they have a very unique & efficient way of getting the process started. The sales woman was extremely friendly & forthcoming with what they look for, so Id know in the future. It can be a lengthy process timewise while they go through your things, but that is only because they are rather busy & the amount of detail that goes into verifying each piece is one they want to sell! I browsed while I waited & kept finding all kinds of goodies from purses to jewelry to winter accessories. Their sizes even go up to a 6X! Mind you, they dont have a lot in 3X & above. However, depending on the type of clothing youre looking for, they do have a wide variety of categories to choose from. Just to name a few - swimwear, skirts & all manner of tops. I can definitely see myself shopping here in the future!

My experiences here have been acceptable but this past week, I was helping out a friend who is disabled and overwhelmed. I spent an entire day helping her clean out here 5 closets full of professional work clothing for a job she no longer has. At 7:00 pm we brought 5 totes to Style Encore. They were rude and not helpful at all. I was there to lift all the totes but they reprimanded her for coming in so late and not giving them time to sort through 5 totes before closing. After that scolding, they agreed to let us leave them and come back at 10AM the next morning. I had to work the next day so she had to go alone. They gave her$19 for six items. Everything in those totes was high quality clothes in excellent condition. My guess is they only went through one tote cause all 6 items were from the same tote. Then they wouldnt help her load them back into her car. As I said, she is disabled.She called me in tears. She was treated so very poorly. I will never go back there and neither will she. A little common courtesy and respect goes a long ways.

Newer to town and thought Id check out this shop on Saturday in hopes to find some affordable items for the colder season. The staff is anything from midwestern nice and I will NOT be coming back as they were absolutely the rudest I have ever encountered. I witnessed one gal talking to another guest at the counter in the store and the words coming out of her mouth was complete vomit and not at all how someone should be talking to another human being, yet alone a guest of the store! Whoever manages this place needs a rude wake up call, as the way you talk to your guest is absolutely unacceptable and trashy and I will never support a local shop who feels they can be rude to their clients!

Very friendly ladies working when I went in today to sell some clothes! Only took four items but I was still very happy with my trip there. Made money I didnt have before and I decluttered! Win win.

This was a fun store. So many things to look at. Arranged by size which is a big bonus!! Didnt buy anything today, but I will go back.

I love this place, I find so many good things from here. Its a sister company to Platos closet but for a woman in their 30s who isnt interested in trying to look like a high schooler or grandma, its perfect. I scored a brand new pair of MK flip flops for cheap this last time I shopped there.

Never have any jeans in my size and when I take trendy jeans that meet their criteria they turn them away. Yes, I understand they have a system. No, I have never taken cheap or off brand jeans to them. Every time Ive been their people my age and my size are their so why are they only excepting things from me that are 20 years old only teens will want or fit?

I always find something when I go here. The selection changes often, the items are usually in really great shape, and the prices are reasonable! I love that you can find brands here that you can’t find easily in Sioux Falls (Madewell, Free People, Anthropologie, Zara).I need to knock 2 stars off simply due to the fact that the employees do not wear masks, and most of the ones that do wear them incorrectly. In February of 2021 it’s frankly unacceptable that a business like this doesn’t require their employees and customers to wear face masks. It makes me feel disrespected and unsafe as a customer.

Huge selections for buyers, but can’t really sell much to them, seems like they only go for MK such big brand stuffs. They don’t accept men’s clothes.

I do enjoy this store from time to time. I snag up some good deals and they usually pay fair price for my items. The only issue is that the staff are incredibly rude, demeaning and not helpful whatsoever. Also, SF has a mask mandate in effect, why are the employees not wearing masks?!?

Took a huge tub of clothing here, a lot of clothing still had tags on it or brand new. I had brands such as Gap, Levi denim, Nike (with tags still on) boutique clothing etc. By no means cheap stuff or any form of styles that wouldn’t sell well or that were in bad condition. Honestly felt very insulted because I spend very good money on my clothing especially my denim and they told me my stuff wouldn’t sell well or had wear on them. I can find things in my closet in better condition then some of the stuff they are selling. They literally have the name brands hanging on the racks that I had in my tub. Honestly, wouldn’t be surprised if they didn’t go through any of it. They took nothing but 3 things of a huge tub. Save yourself the trip and try and sell your clothing yourself or just donate it. Not worth it.

I had dropped off a few bags of clothes and they only wanted one thing and said everything was stained or wear and tear. I’ve never worn any of the items so weird how they were stained. I declined their offer and went home. Once I got home I went through my stuff and noticed that two of my sweaters were missing. I had called the store and told them my issue and the lady took my name and number and said they would call me back. They never called back. I would suggest not to bring your stuff to them, they lowball you any offer or they steal from you and ignore you when you bring it up to them. I will never be shopping here again.

First time in the store since their move, amazing!

Waste of time if you are selling. Told all my clothes were too old, cant be over a year old or at least thats the excuse the not so friendly sales clerk gave. If the website had posted that, I wouldnt have wasted my time from the start.

The clothes are neat and organized, so I will give them that. That doesn’t really matter to me though if the people that sell the clothes are very rude and short with the customers. The staff at the previous location were so kind and always respectful. The staff at this location are terrible to customers. Last time I was there, I witnessed two staff members reprimand a customer trying to return shoes. They accused her of lying about whether or not she’d worn them to the point that she was in tears. This is just one case of many that I have witnessed myself. If any upper management or owners ever read these posts, please consider new staff. It will bring new customers in and old customers back.

They dont take in much unless it is for someone young or the newest styles or they still have the tags.

I give them a 5 because they have always been good to me, most of the time they take almost everything I bring in. I always find something I need. And the staff is friendly and know me by name. I always get greeted at the door and have not had 1 bad staff member, can’t hold them accountable for her actions. I send all my friends and my customers here if they are looking for something different, Style Encore never disappoints

Every time I go in there the people working are rude. The last few times I have brought clothes in they took 2-3 items and leave the rest of my clothes a mess, they just threw them back into my totes. When I said something about how I was upset how they left my remaining clothes, they ignored my comment and asked if I was going to sell the 2 items they had chose out of the almost 3 totes I brought in. I use to enjoy going there for good clothes for a great price but now everything is high priced.

I love this place! Best prices, great quality and fantastic, friendly customer service! This is my one stop shop for everything. My favorite thing about this store you can barely tell the items are second hand. Everything is like brand new used like two or three times if that.

I am glad they are moving to a larger building as today was their last day on Louise. I love their clearance sales. Today I bought 2 brand new skirts still with the store tags on them plus the clearance tags. I paid $2.61 for both. Again, I LOVE CLEARANCE!

Stopped in to this store to sell some clothes. I brought in 3 totes, they took 20 items for $87. Overall the store is clean and well organized, it’s in a shopping and easy to find.

To the people leaving bad reviews because they didnt buy your stuff, the whole point of this store is that they are selective with what they buy. Just because something still has the tags on it doesnt mean its sellable for them.The prices are consistent depending on the brand levels, for example Gap, Banana Republic, J Crew, and Loft jeans are the same price ($18 I think) and J Brand, 7 For All Mankind, and Silver jeans are more. They even have tall sizes once in awhile which I always scoop up! I buy most of my leather handbags and wallets here, sandals, boots, Ray Ban sunglasses, necklaces, and all types of clothing including athletic apparel. All my friends already know the answer when they compliment something Im wearing and ask where I bought it.

Wow! Awesome selection of clothing. Lots to chose from! High end boutique clothing and name brands galore. Loved that! Ive never been in consignment store that is so organized and clean. The aisles are a bit narrow and makes it a little difficult for more than 1 or two people to be looking in the same space. The prices were too high for me, and it is unlikely that Ill be back because of that reason.

I would definitely recommend selling clothes here vs Plato’s Closet, but I would not recommend selling high end purses here. I had them give me a break down of what they were paying me vs what they were selling it for and they were giving me $38 for something they were going to sell for $90. Very friendly staff though!

I am giving this store a 3 star because its only for females which is not a bad thing in its self but it could use a small section for men if they do happen to come in with their S.O. the guys can look through it too. But its nice to see female only stores. That and the prices are at a good range

I stopped in to this store yesterday and bought a few items. After leaving I realized I was charged the original amount for a shirt that still had the original tags attached. I went back today to explain they had charged me wrong, no one apologized and they said they didn’t know what to do so I said I’d look while they figured it out. When I found another shirt and went to pay they offered me $2 store credit. I thought that was way too low but said fine use it for this shirt, however they stated they couldn’t since the shirt was on sale. I then said they needed to refund me the money they owed me in the first place or needed to find another solution as it was their “mix up”. All three workers were rude to me and said that wasn’t an option and didn’t offer to find another way to help. They said I’d need to call their manager and take it up with him myself. Never have I been treated so badly by customer service workers who actually had caused the issue in the first place. I will not be back ever.If you have the chance don’t waste your time. Go to the Omaha store, they are way nicer, are very helpful, and have a much much better selection!(Edit to Reply) I tried to purchase a shirt and was told I couldn’t use the coupon for it. After I asked to return the original shirt I was told I couldn’t do that either, I’d just have to lose the money on it. I went back that day because I was excited to look again despite the workers ignoring me the previous day and asked about the refund then because I live 3 hours away. It wasn’t even about the $1.40, it was the fact that if I wanted to spend full price on the shirt I would’ve gone to the store and bought it where I would’ve been greeted politely and they would’ve had no problem returning it. When I offered other solutions and tried to be helpful by just using the coupon on a shirt from your store I was told there was no way that could happen and to speak to a manager who wasn’t even there. So not only have I lost money (yes only $2 could be worse), I left feeling disrespected and cheated as well as knowing I’d never bother coming back.

Before careful when selling your items. Especially if Audrey is working. Somehow I managed to get a ton of items that DIDNT belong to me. I went back the SAME day and she had already left, they couldnt find my items and only offered an apology!Guess I need to make time to stand there and watch them process my buy to ensure my stuff isnt given to other people!To make matters worse is when I was in there the first time Audrey was very rude and short with not only me but every other customer she was interacting with as well. Wonder if shes always that way!?!?!

Lucky me, I was around when Style Encore had their 90% off clearance and mega moving sale. Great clothes for good prices. Most of what I bought was brand new.

I think Ive found something to buy every time I stop here. They normally have pretty good inventory of current styles and brands.Its always a little difficult to shop these stores just by their nature, but Style Encore tries to remedy this with featured outfits throughout the store and on Facebook.Cant speak to how much they pay for when youre selling clothes, as I have yet to sell here.

My favorite place to shop for clothing. Always a good deal, can usually find some good pieces for my wardrobe. They’re pretty picky when buying clothes but based on the quality of what I buy I can understand why.

I feel they are too choosy if youre selling to them. I brought in 3 bags of newer clothes...even some with tags and all items bought in the last 2 years. They didnt take a thing and their stuff was a bit over priced. I will not go back as a buyer or a seller.

The store is very organized by size/style/color. They have sales frequently. They are choosy with purchasing items from customers, which is a bummer when you are trying to sell but great for quality control.

Their selection doesn’t match the store’s description of what they are buying. Also the experience as a seller is disappointing... they just don’t take quality on-trend items. Also their prices are too high for used clothes. You can honestly watch for sales at the mall and spend the same amount on new items. I wanted to like this place, but after a handful of bad experiences here I just can’t.

Brought stuff to sell, and they told me most of my items were asian sized amd rejected them. i had made sure i picked out items from banana republic, zara, gap, COACH, and nothing from asia. they racial profiled me.

Nice clothes for the cost

Not a single fun dress for new years eve. Booooo.

Very disappointing! Last year they purchased several designer pieces from me at a very fair price. This week I brought in designer items of the same type that I brought in last year, from Isaac Mizrahi, Bob Mackie, Ralph Lauren, Chicos, Joan Rivers, Simon by Simonton, Dana Buchman, etc. All of them hardly worn or new with tags (Ive lost weight and needed to clean my closet). The styles were all classic but modern. Examples: Dennis Basso washable suede one-button boyfriend blazer in camel -- new with tags! White House/Black Market little black dress in throwback 50s style -- new with tags! They rejected all of them in favor of pieces that frankly I thought Id be taking home since they were NOT designer and were cheaper and of lesser quality. The young girls that were doing the buying apparently were shopping for themselves since the items they bought were more appropriate for teens or 20-somethings. When I indicated my confusion to the young girl about what they had chosen, she became somewhat belligerent claiming, as she pointed out one of the pieces they rejected stating that it was faded...it was new with tags less than 6 months old and was periwinkle blue which she said was supposed to be navy! Color-blind perhaps? I wonder if the owner is aware that the people doing the buying are apparently unfamiliar with couture designers and fashion appropriate for the work place and are turning away boutique-level, new and nearly-new, fashions in favor of teen-wear. I doubt Ill return.

RUDE RUDE RUDE. I am a friendly person and the woman at the register -Laura- acted like it was a complete inconvenience to talk to me. Very short responses. I have stopped here a TON of times and have NEVER been treated as rudely. I am accustomed to the general attitude in the store, but this was absurd.

I never seem to find what Im looking for here, and the prices are a little higher than I wish they were.
